This was our first and only time coming here. This spot is more appropriately appointment only, they say they allow walk ins, but I wouldn't bother unless you like wasting your time and being ignored. We came in on a Saturday expecting a wait because of not having an appointment and it being the weekend which wasn't the issue, we were also the only walk ins there. The issue we had was barely being recognized when we walked in to start then being ignored afterwards. The two male employees had clients already (didn't say anything to us which was fine since they were engaged with their clients), the female employee just finished up with a client and told us she had a scheduled client coming in soon and didn't say anything after that, just sat in her chair on her phone (felt like we were a nuisance to her). We then waited 30 minutes with no updates or engagement from any of the employees. The male employees were still with their original clients when we walked in and the female employee just finished another clients haircut. We thought we were finally up next since she didn't tell us she had another appointment booked afterwards this time. Well she said nothing, finished cleaning up her station, still didn't say anything to us, then sat down in her chair and pulled out her phone and ignored us. We waited another 5 minutes to see if anyone would say anything to us and they didn't. So we left without getting haircuts. If you don't have an appointment don't waste your time with this place! We would have understood if they told us they were completely booked that day and couldn't take walk ins, but they told us they do take walk ins... They just straight up ignored us after saying that instead of telling us that it might be acouple hours or preferably we come back with an appointment. This place has seating, a foosball table and TVs that had sports on. Not worth being ignored over though. Also, if you like cleaner places for haircuts, this is not the place to go to. They had noticeable hair on the floor with no clients in the chairs and a decent blanket of dust/dirt/grime on the floor and fixtures. We did not pay close enough attention to see how they clean their tools between clients. Not recommended, especially with kids not recommended. read more

I had a emergency today and had to cancel on Adrian couple hours before I told him if I could reschedule he didn't give me any option after I told him the earliest I can come in and he proceed to charge me the full 60 dollars I think that is really bad business he should've worked with me to reschedule you can't predict emergency it's sad how some barbers really chase the money instead of the passion sometimes and don't mind talking advantage of people definitely suggest a different barber that will be understanding. read more

This is a mixed review...I took my 2 boys here as walk ins and got great service from Corey and Ciera....they were both great with my kids, patient with my little one and both got great haircuts. My husband booked an appointment online with Christian at 11am for an appointment at 1:15pm. We got there at 1:05pm and my husband was told by Christian that the wait would be 30 minutes because a couple of walk ins just came in right before my husband and he was taking them first. When we asked about the appointment Christian claimed we just made the appointment there was nothing we could do....even though the appointment was made 2 hours before. So bottom line...be careful who you book with and don't count on being seen at your appointment time. read more

Been going here for a couple months now and decided to get a perm for homecoming. Barber Ana has never left me disappointed on any of my haircuts. I asked for a "joker" design to fit the villain homecoming theme and she nailed it. Perm is hard to manage with thicker hair but I've been happy with the new look. Pricing is reasonable. Cesar was awesome; however, apparently this establishment does NOT feel like they should follow rules and regulations set forth by the government since Placer County is not administering fines. The sad part is a business such as this could just wear masks and make everyone feel comfortable. Instead, they are not concerned with anyone's health. No employees wearing masks; therefore, not enforcing customers to wear masks. Everyone is this shop are topnotch. A little on the pricey side but you pay for the quality of haircut and their attention for detail. Show 'em a picture of the haircut you want or just tell them the haircut you envisioned and they will surely do it for you. They do have an app for appointments making it easier for you to book a time according to your schedule. Walk ins are also welcome. Some of my favorite barbers are Andres, Corey and my new favorite, Juan. They accept preferably cash payments (there is an ATM inside if you ran out of cash). This review is based on precautions during COVID not actual services... went to take my son here today for a haircut, went up to the door and nobody inside was wearing a mask- not the people working there or customers... turned right around and will go somewhere else. The yelp homepage for this business says that masks are required but clearly that is not the case. I was given a $5 off a haircut coupon, and my kids needed a haircut, so I decided to give this place a try since I had a coupon and the kids didn't want to go to great clips, best decision ever! The guys took their time and listened to what the kids wanted, they LOVE their new cuts! It's a little bit pricier but IMO was totally worth it! Amazing haircut, just know they only take cash!!! I don't like carrying cash I only use credit because why would I want to use my own money, I will use a corporations money that's backed up if something goes wrong before I use mine and help boost my credit score. Very embarrassing when they say that will be $35.00 for a haircut and your like you don't take credit and have to try and use their ATM that has a large charge. I almost didn't even remember my debit card info. I'm a Petroleum Engineer and I love to leave good tips for barbers (over $100) with my card. Cash is dirty and is ripe for taking advantage of others (yes I know I work in oil and gas industry). They need to make credit an option. Wow! My grandfather and father were barbers. My grandma and sister stylists. I have NEVER seen such PERFECTION AND DETAIL as Andres and Caesar and rest of crew spend on you. Gave my vanity up years ago, 2 - 4 simple buzz cut, 10 minutes everywhere else. Uppercut? 1/2 hour minimum. They really do it right no matter how busy they are. Went in day before Thanksgiving and Christmas. Really busy. Did they rush anyone through? Absolutely not! Moved to the area and I was looking for a new barber which is always nerve racking. I've always been pretty particular with my hair and so I came here and have seen Caesar 3 times so far and my cut is a medium drop fade with a hard part and my style is a comb over. Ive been to dozens of barbers all over the country as I use to travel for work and Caesar is easily top 3. He's also a pretty cool guy and will shoot the shot with you. Great new spot in Rocklin. I withheld writing this review out of my own selfishness of not wanting it to get super busy but after my second cut I owe them props and have to share. These guys are old school, legit barbers well established in the marysville area expanding their business to our neck of the woods. I'm glad they chose Rocklin!! I've struggled finding consistency with my fade and without question they've nailed it twice in a row with two different barbers, on both my son and I. Plenty of chairs for growth in this shop too. My fade is high and tight and they even trimmed up my facial hair - this was a first for me but I'm planning every time to add this to the mix. Great value, great conversation and great cost.
