As soon as I walked in, I was immediately greeted. I told the salesperson I was here to see if my item was ready, although I am early, and I have yet received an email confirming it was ready. The store is quite spacious and clean with engaging signage and beautiful displays throughout. It really engages your senses and elevates the shopping experience. I was warmly greeted by the security and first floor staff where the clothing portion of the brand is located. You climb the stairs to the shoe section where the experience was made even more special by the staff. I performed a no hassle return in record time and while I was carousing a pair of Jordan 1's caught my eye. The staffer, Mikey with door free form locs a beautiful accent fetched them for me and was super engaging complementing my style and inquiring about my day. The store has a wide selection of goods but it is also a high traffic location and so items sell out fast. Lines are ridiculous on the day of releases and well pricing is typical to what the brand sells and who they collaborate with. Experience was 10/10. No complaints here

I called ahead to ensure the shop was open. Everything was clean and organized, Alex warmly greeted me when I arrived, confirmed the needed repairs, and shared the price and how long everything would take. Even though my order included 2 pairs of high boots, he was done in just an hour! I worked while I waited. As a first-time customer, normally I would have brought just 1 pair of shoes to test whether I liked the service, but luckily everything worked out. I plan to return and recommend Broadway Shoes to others. It's probably a good time to grab several shoes and take them in for seasonal repair before we switch to warm-weather options or store cold-weather options. Tips: call ahead and make an appointment; drop off shoes before noon if you want same-day service, and confirm the price and how long it will take. Alex's work definitely deserves a tip -- he apprenticed with his father and has been proudly doing this work for decades!

The free car service delivery (if you live in NYC) is AMAZING. Wow. Since many apartments in NYC don't have a doorman or secure place to leave packages, this is such a luxurious and helpful perk. I knew I had to wait until they opened to check things out in person, and luckily they are very punctual. A surprising amount of people came in at opening - I guess it's a very popular store/location! We were first window shopping around, and it was initially hard to get a staff to help answer a few questions about pieces we were interested in. Finally we got someone's attention and they actually pulled out the entire collection for us to see and ask to try on. It wasn't on display, but as part of the box of pieces that were for sale, I found an adorable ring and knew I had to get it. Unfortunately they had sold out of my size - at the time, my fingers must've been extremely swollen from the heat because my size was way bigger than I remembered it to be. The staff didn't mention anything like that to be wary of, but I felt like they would have known. I left the shop without buying anything but did note the ring I wanted and got on the waitlist online. Eventually they came back in stock, so I'm glad I did go to the storefront to see it in person!

I purchased two name rings late in 2025, I had been a customer at the original location since they opened in 2005 when I was in college! I've bought so many rings from them, many by Wwake but also very nice ones by their in house line. A lot of personalized ones over the years with sentimental value for me. I think quality and production must be way down and I'm worried maybe these rings I have from last year may not even be actual gold. Maybe it's a fault in the design? I put one on and almost cut myself- it had split!!! I was so shocked and reached out to them immediately since this hasn't happened in 20+ years as a loyal customer who recommended their brand, bought gifts for family, etc. I emailed customer service and they said it's under warranty and can be fixed. I felt like that would be okay until I looked at my other name ring, purchased on the same date. I can see a split forming but not complete in the same exact location as the other one!!!!! I don't want a "fix" or replacement anymore unless it's another brand. I'd like my money back, I've never ever had real jewelry break on its own like this and I take very good care of these treasured objects. I can see these will break again and again :( If they can actually give good customer service I'll return as a customer to still buy trusted brands like Wwake but would never buy from their line ever again and can see numerous recent Reddit posts describing Catbird line jewelry falling apart! I bought a jacket from another location, and they forgot to take the plastic security tag off. Luckily, they were able to text me my receipt. This started a crazy journey of trying to remove it, starting in the London Harrods store for SI - after some trying, they didn't have the right security equipment there. When I got to NY, I went straight to the SI store that my sister shops at in Soho. I was so lucky that I was able to work with Ethan - he literally took the time to go to a couple of stores to take the tag off. I really appreciate that level of service, which many stores don't provide these days. The selection in this location is also huge so if you love SI like my son does, this is the place to shop. Even though I recently bought my son a couple of pieces, we ended up getting him a sweatshirt there because we were so impressive with the service. Thank you, Ethan!
