Super cool bar with very friendly staff. I highly recommend you let Cobra work its snake charms on you if you're in East Nashville.

Honestly, I was just relieved we found a spot within easy walking distance. We arrived a few minutes late unfortunately and the lights were already a little dim so I couldn't see the place as well as I wanted. Our tickets and IDs were checked as we walked in. The venue is located on the second floor above another business. The steps are a little steep to watch your heels if you're wearing them! Inside there's a small stage and a nice bar. Seating is pretty limited but for our concert the vibe was definitely super high energy/party focused so we didn't mind standing up to bounce and dance to the music. The bar has a nice array of specialty cocktails. I was very impressed with the bartender, Marc, who was attentive, fun, and hardworking. He even went out of his way to help the performer when a few small details went awry on the stage. I don't drink super often and what I wound up ordering didn't taste quite like how I'd hoped it would, but I'm more than willing to chalk that up to my relative inexperience and general ambivalence toward alcohol. The sound/acoustics were great and the whole place was bumpin! I would advise bringing ear plugs to protect your hearing if you're headed to a loud concert -- you'll inevitably be fairly close to the performer and therefore it can easily be suuuuuper loud with the mics and amps and whatnot. I had a great time but will try to remember mine next time! The only main drawback was it got hot inside super fast. We stood by the open entryway for much of the conference and even that airflow wasn't enough to keep us from leaving very, very sweaty lol. Bring water! Overall, a fun venue and a great night out for us! Thanks, TBV!

A great local bar, that's spacious with friendly staff and has a large dance floor. It's a place to go any day of the week expecting great live music and good service. We placed an order for two cocktails and we opened up a tab. We then proceeded to place an order of food. We finished our cocktails and finished our food. After waiting for about 15 minutes and no one acknowledged us, we waved one of the bartenders down as she approached the cash register and requested to close out. The bartender seemed bothered that we flagged her down and quickly turned back using a micro aggressive tone and responded that she needed to complete helping a customer before she can help us. I have worked in customer service/food and cocktail industry and her tone/response was completely unnecessary. We have been to a few "dive" bars in the past In CA, NY, AZ, TX, AL and other parts of Tennessee and we have never encountered a response like that before. Maybe it was a busy Saturday afternoon or maybe they do not cater to diversity. Regardless we will not be returning.

My partner and I hit up one of the "Fascination Street" goth dance nights this past weekend and had an absolute blast. Perfect environment for that, great DJs and an active, friendly, engaged crowd. Drinks are farily priced (for real, like it's not hard Nashville!), and...it's actually clean in here?! Including the bathrooms! Of course, do your best to not have to go to the bathroom while here because it will take you 30 minutes or so to get through the line to reach the stall (but once there it's private and clean, sink within). It's just a really cool space from the stage you can dance on if you choose to plenty of other spaces to dance less in the "spotlight", some chairs and tables and balcony area to relax and chill out a bit as well. Parking can be a beast--there's a free lot out front but with just a few spots, street parking is not super plentiful or prevalent. There are a lot of businesses with full lots and since pretty much anything you come to here is after those businesses are closed one in theory SHOULD be able to park there, but there's a sign that says the Walgreens def tows after midnight (for those 2 am shoppers to a closed location?)--we took a chance at another business and were lucky.

The lineup: Bayway, Kruelty, and Peeling Flesh. This place was Rockin' beyond belief! We had people stage-diving, doing roundhouse kicks, one dude just storming through the crowd like a bulldozer, an insane mosh pit, the best drummer I have ever seen for Kruelty, an extremely underrated band in Bayway, and energy through the roof with Peeling Flesh! It was absolute organized chaos! And I couldn't have been happier. Imagine a scene where it's energy Level 10 from start to finish across all three bands. That's what happened. And it was the perfect venue for it because it's small but not too small. The parking and drink prices here are high as they would be at any concert venue, but the staff is great. A really chill while also alert staff that treats everyone like a human being as opposed to a piece of revenue. The entire experience was incredibly authentic.
