Had a rough week and am thankful for the quick and friendly service at quick shots. While not always the deepest selection with liquor they make sure you feel welcomed. Have plenty of Jell-O shots, live music, and feel more than comfortable being there. From the bartender lending her amazing voice to the friendly service, you honestly couldn't find a better place to escape the craziness of Broadway but have all the experience. I am so happy to have stopped in and will continue to come here. From the staff, music and drinks, it's a wonderful Nashville experience!

I've been to big shotz twice. It was just as fun this time as it was when I first went with my sister. My dad enjoyed his mango habanero whisky and I enjoyed my rubber ducky. Bad decisions were made and they were delicious. The service was good and the bar itself is always fun.

Dropped by on a Friday afternoon with a girl group while we were exploring Nashville. We stopped primarily because they had a woman playing music, which is actually harder to find than you think. Neve Cunnan, she was great. She played female artist lineup and it was awesome, Alannis, Janis,Joanie, 4nonBlonds etc. Good sound, we could still talk. Excellent Nashville music experience. Bartenders were super chatty and nice, also all female. They talk to us about where we are from, what we're up to this weekend, really nice. We said we would and did go back later in the evening. Different vibe, larger Rick heavy band, but good. They learned and played an Indigo Girls Typical Nashville bar fair, specialty shots, hello shots in servings, etc.

So much fun!!! Come with good vibes. We're attracted by the live music, stayed for the INCREDIBLE double shots (big shotz is a very fitting name). The names are hilarious and the drinks are tasty as can be. Tried a few double shots and the dirty pirate hooker shot was insanely good. We also tried the southern Barbie and it was nice and sweet. If you enjoy good music, friendly service, and tasty drinks, Big Shotz is a must.

Never had a bad time at BIG SHOTZ----love the classic rock music that they are typically playing----you can get pretty hammered here if you don't watch because they always have drink specials and they are really good...the food specials are good too...the little cheese stuffed pretzel bites are freakin' awesome......they take request for songs like ac/dc and stones all the things you want to hear and sing along to.....if your looking for a good time but not the meat market scene go here---it is just old hippes and drinkers that love music hanging out and enjoying life....

Good drinks, good music. Double Shotz are $5. I was hoping for munchies to snack on, but the only food is Jello Shotz. Smoking is allowed, but it didn't get too smokey. Overall, not bad.

Like everyone else, was overcharged. Server lady had bad attitude even though I was all smiles. 1 star for the attitude, nothing but remorse for overpaying.

We bumped into Big Shotz while walking around Nashville. They had live music and it seemed to be a cool place for spend an hour or so at. When we first sat down, I noticed they had drink specials posted all over the bar. Therefore, I ordered a few rounds of drinks given the specials seemed pretty good. While the service was ok, I found extremely concerning that once I received the check, the total was way off from what it should have been compared to the advertised prices (would have loved to check the prices but I was not given an itemized receipt whatsoever)... Therefore, I tipped taking that surcharge into consideration. A few days later, when I checked the total amount charged to my credit card, I noticed that they added more tip than I had previously filled our on my credit card slip. Needless to say I attempted to contact the restaurant without success. I would avoid this place. There were way more bars that were more fun in the city which I did not have this problem with. Not only do they not stand by the special prices they have posted and not give you an itemized receipt, they also add more tip to the total. Definitely a pass...

There's a row of boots on the wall, which I think is for display only and a call out to the time when they actually sold boots here. This historic building itself feels like a shotgun (long and narrow) and apparently once served as a Civil War warehouse and later the Sho-Bud Steel Guitar Company. To prolong our stay, we ordered cheeseburgers and beer (fries and onion rings were extra) for brunch. I tried to interest folks in their $6 "Recession Special" - A grilled or fried bologna sandwich piled high, with a bag of potato chips, a Moon Pie, and a cold Pabst Blue Ribbon (PBR) beer, but got no takers. We sat up on the balcony, which we had all to ourselves and with a nice view to the main floor below. Our waitresses were down home friendly, hard working, and good at what they were doing. We felt right at home and this was perhaps the most classic and authentic Nashville experience we had here. The band even wished my Happy Birthday. :)

Add live jazz drifting through it and you have a night out that feels nothing like the usual Nashville scene. The service was the highlight. Our server Ian took great care of us from start to finish, warm, attentive, and knowledgeable without ever making us feel rushed. The whole team was dialed in, but Ian made us feel like regulars on our very first visit. The food more than kept up. My pork chop was enormous and cooked beautifully, and my wife's empanadas and salad were just as good. The cocktails were fine, not quite the star of the show, but with food and atmosphere this good I did not mind one bit.

Nashville is a music town, throw a rock and you'll find a great spot at a bar playing music. Some of the bars have a stage where bands are jammin'! I'm looking for something different, something more contemporary, live jazz and a speakeasy feel. Skull's Rainbow Room delivered. Walking up to Printer's Alley, it's already giving off speakeasy vibes. I did my classic move, Get to the restaurant early and tell the waitress I'm so hungry and promise I won't be here all night. Man... I was set up with a great table and was told I have less than two hours. (I mean, I am Bill S from New York, I can be quite persuasive) My waiter comes over, we start talking about the east coast, how he misses New Jersey but loves his new home in Nashville. I order a martini and thick Prime Rib cut along with a side of truffle mashed potatoes. My drink comes out quickly and now I am in the jazz zone. These guys rocked it! Great music along with strong cocktails, I laugh and say to myself: I'm getting paid to be here! My steak comes to the table very quickly. Man this steak cut is a thing of beauty. The au jus with a bite of the truffle mashed potato, heaven. Now the piano player start playing The Love Theme from The Godfather?? Am I in heaven or.. are they trying to seduce me to the other side as I order another cocktail? Just a fantastic night, from the music to the food and libations at Skull's Rainbow Room. My waiter says, it's been two hours, would you like your drink brought to the bar? I declined as I paid my check. Skull's Rainbow Room is a must stop when in Nashville.
