Brown sugar iced latte with oat milk

Passing through Vicksburg on our way to Gulf Shores. LOVED this place. The workers are really helpful and nice. They have so many flavor and drink options too. Most places only carry seasonal flavors, but this place has it all! If you get a chance, you have to stop by and grab some good food and a tasty coffee for the road! The atmosphere is very cool. If you needed an hour to kill, they have board games, couches, and plenty of seating.

Caramel iced macchiato with oat milk

I had an iced caramel macchiato with oat milk. Pretty good. I would get it again. My daughter had a Matcha, and she enjoyed that as well. Regrettably however, we had planned on getting food. Had not been clear from the website that breakfast food ends at 10:30 AM, and they are no longer serving lunch. Disappointing, and that should be made clear to people seeking out their restaurant on yelp since we were traveling through town and went out of the way to go there. Cute atmosphere. Very welcoming. Comfortable seating. This would be a great place to sit and visit with friends over a beverage.

Very cute coffee shop. We stopped in on our way down to New Orleans. Our drinks were great. They recommended the Blondie and it was really good. All four of us enjoyed our drinks.

    Really cozy and clean!!

We were passing through Vicksburg and we wanted to eat something simple-healthy because we still have a long ways to go. We found this place on yelp, the location is kinda tricky but it was exactly what we were looking for! We had turkey ciabattas and coffee and they all tasted really good. They have lots of sugar free flavors for coffee too! What I liked the most was that the place was really cozy, quiet and clean. Thumbs up, The Coffee House Café!!

Books and games - would be nice to hang around if covid was not an issue

Stopped in this place a few times while staying with family in Vicksburg after Hurrican Ida. It is a cute place to get coffee. They also have sandwiches, smoothies, teas, and pastries. The coffee is good and they have an assortment of milks including oat milk! The staff is friendly and helpful.

I love the look of this shop. It's clean and has a nice comfy feel. They also have a bookshelf with books and board games. You can read the books there, borrow them, or trade them. I will say, I'm sorry picky about coffee. I can tell that the syrup is a bit sweeter than I'm used to. That being said, it was still good. The staff was really sweet, too. Great little shop. Go support your local stores.

Wonderful local coffee house run by great Christian people with a great heart. Wish I had coffee houses like this back home. It was nice to find the Bible verse written on the cup afterwards

    Usb outlets!

Cute place with better customer service than most places I have been receiving in Vicksburg. I got the iced chai latte. The menu only has one price and I just assumed it was the regular sized. If so, then I was charged more than the menu price. But in hind sight, the price listed was probably small. I just wished they had clear prices listed. The other reason I am taking a star off is that although customer service is better than most places in Vicksburg, it's still not up to par. I sat down with my laptop to work on some stuff while other customers ordered. I overheard the employee offering a stamp card. I am definitely one of those people who get stamp cards and return just because I have a stamp card. I figured I could work at this coffee shop and I liked the atmosphere. When I was ready to leave, I went to the counter and asked the employee for a stamp card. She handed me one (without a punch) and there was a minute or two of awkwardness. I finally asked if she was going to punch it for the drink I bought and that is when she realized she never gave me one. But she was not apologetic or anything. It was close to closing time so perhaps she was in a hurry to close up? They did stop playing music about 15 minutes before closing and it felt like they were rushing me out of there. Otherwise, I would give this place 5 stars :-)

Great coffee and pleasant ambiance. A much needed addition to limited coffee shop options in Vicksburg.

Joseph Emory Davis, patriarchal brother to Confederate Pres Jefferson Davis, the owner of Hurricane Plantation in Warren County, Jefferson Davis made his final speech from Anchuca's front balcony, near the Vicksburg Battlefield. We got here early and parked in the small parking lot. We wandered around all of the beautiful rooms from the period. We were seated in the library. Brunch entrées included a small salad or fruit cup, and a dessert. We enjoyed our salads with balsamic dressing. For an entrée, I chose seafood, gumbo, and my husband, the shrimp and grits. The cheesy, creamy grits with the best I ever tasted, and my husband doesn't like shrimp, but he devoured them. We're trying both desserts, the warm peach cobbler alamode and the white chocolate bread pudding were obscene. Our meal was delicious, service, impeccable, and the setting spectacular.

Approximately a mile from the Vicksburg battlefield, the house sits high on a hill that would have had direct line of vision to the Mississippi River during the war. The house still bears the scars of battle shrapnel but was ultimately spared. The buildings are an impressive representation of Southern living for the well to do in the late 1800s. The upper porch served as the location for Jefferson Davis last public speech after the war. The restaurant serves a nice breakfast to boarders and a more elegant option for dinner with a full menu. Pleasant service in a cozy dining area makes for a great experience in this historic home. P.S. Note that both the dining area and all of the in rooms are not handicapped accessible and require the ability to claim stairs.
