I found her through Groupon but I recommend calling her via her phone number to get the deal directly if you want to help out the business a little bit more. This is MY take. It was challenging to get the schedule down initially, understandably so as there was a long queue of Groupon clients, but after the initial visit, scheduling was easy. Ducy has a friendly demeanor and comes across as someone really eager to get to know you in order to provide good service. She knows a few other healing techniques and has not been stingy in recommending them and adding them in to the service if I needed them and were willing to try. Well, I did and liked them. Her massage technique incorporates good foot massage-- something I really enjoy. I especially favor that the business itself is located in a medical building in Warwick. Last year when I went to this salon for an appointment I was rudely greeted at the door for…read morebringing my 9 year old daughter and her friend with me. The owner was condescending and kept telling me that she should not be expected to watch my children. This made me very uncomfortable and very unwelcome. I only stayed because I love the service I get from one of the providers. This went on for a while, giving me the impression that she thinks all children misbehave. My poor child felt like she was a bad person. My child happens to be extremely well behaved and has no problem sitting in a waiting room with a book or a device. I went back this year for hair services because I wanted to try a specific stylist I heard great things about. I love my new hair stylist! She is wonderful and takes her time to do her best work. I found it very strange a couple of times when I was her last client that the owner had to stay for hours until we were finished, so she could personally cash me out. I felt like she did not trust her employees to cash out or close her business. This was confirmed this week when I made an appointment for a color and cut for both my daughter and myself. We received our hair cut but had to reschedule for the color because my stylist did not want the owner to have to hang around while we got our color. When we came back for the second appointment, my daughter went first for color. I was then told there was no time to do my color because the owner had to leave to meet someone. I was confused as to why not just give the stylist the key to lock up rather than ask a customer to come back for yet a third time for what should have been one appointment?? I also live an hour away. I called to cancel my third appointment today and said I would not be returning because I do not like the way the business is run. The girl said okay and goodbye. I find it very upsetting that a business does not trust their employees and does not care that they have inconvenienced customers. Shouldn't an apology, discount, or something have been offered for this terrible way to treat a customer? I now have to leave a wonderful stylist because of the way this business is run. I also have 3 days to find someone to do my color for an event I am attending. I have been to many salons following my past stylist and at each one she has had her own key and scheduled and cashed out her own customers on her personal phone. This is poor business practice to say the least.

(Five star for the…read moreeyebrows) However when I got my lashes done there was so much glue used that I was scraping it off my cheeks and the middle of my eyelids and I figured it's fine because she discounted the price because it was not the look I wanted. I figured I'd put up with them for a couple of weeks but there are thick chunks of glue on my top waterline that are stabbing the corners of my eyes making them super raw. I have friends and family that get lash extensions and they've never had this problem. It's like buying those cheap hard lashes and not trimming the edges before you put them on. Not to mention they are unevenly placed making my eyelid looking like a Tetris game. She was very nice but also blamed me for not communicating what I wanted properly. The whole thing was rushed she never asked me what I wanted and when I tried telling her she quickly replied "oh yeah yeah I can do that" without really listening to what I was saying when we were done she said I said something completely different than what I actually said and me hating confrontation just left thinking I had to deal with because she said it was too late to have them removed.
