I simply emailed the place and the owner texted me back to book the class. The location is very convenient. There was plenty of parking when we arrived for our 8pm class. The layout was simple. Very spacious. The walls were decorated with different paintings from previous classes. During the painting event, the instructor gave clear instructions throughout. The reason for one less star was because of the music choice. She did inform us that she had her son's playlist playing. It was rap music with curse words and songs about sex. It was awkward. Some of us had some giggles when we heard crazy lyrics. Better music choice would improve the overall atmosphere. Other than that, my partner and I had a good time.

An hour before the shower was set to start the artist canceled on us. She said that she was sick (which we understand happens). We reached out to the company immediately and it resulted in us not having the event we planned for. Customer services solutions were either we can reschedule the event (not possible) or a refund (which could only be handled on Monday). We found the artist and company to be unprofessional. There should always be a backup plan in case something happens with the artist. I can say that we will not be booking anymore events with them."

They had an ice bucket to chill our drinks and a table in the back reserved for us to put any extra alcohol or snacks that we brought. They also provided us wine glasses to drink out of which was so convenient! I really liked that the host had a microphone attached to her and the volume was loud enough to hear her over the chatter from birthday festivities and other group conversations. We had a private room, which allowed the children to interact and play together. They started off with tattoos and coloring while kids were brought to another area to make teddy bears in groups of four or five. Lately, you go to a birthday party, and the kids are all just running off on their own and not playing together. Here, the activities got the children to play together, which I find so important. It was absolutely awesome! I also liked the quality of the teddy bears, clothing, and backpacks the kids got. I also can't say enough nice things about the service and staff. They were incredibly helpful in every possible way and accommodating. From the moment we walked in everything just worked seamlessly. There's also such a calm vibe that it is pleasant for the parents hanging out. The party area is open and spacious so everyone felt very comfortable. About three different families that participated in our party liked it so much that they're looking to do their kids party there as well. This place deserves even more than five stars... It's a very good vibe place looking at all the other paintings that people have done. I highly recommend this place for a sip and paint. Also they offer things for kids as well, so it's kid friendly and the best part of it all is that it's very inexpensive and it's three hours of what I like to call my therapy because you're sitting there. You're concentrating you're not paying attention to your phone your iPad, your computer any of that like you are totally checked out of technology and this is what we need to go back to highly recommend this place and I will see them soon. The atmosphere and decor was amazing. It was so cute!Luis the head painter and our host was incredible. I thought we were going to maybe be tracing the image onto the canvas (as I have done that in previous paint studios) and we did not. We did everything free hand and he was an excellent teacher and was very helpful. There were several times where I thought I had ruined my painting and he helped me fix little mistakes which just added character and made it unique. Internal stakeholder management issues notwithstanding (non-vendor side), the experience was wonderful from top to bottom! Having never been here, nor painted pottery since I was in 7th grade, I called Artsy to find out what to expect. Stephanie who picked up the phone didn't have the answer to one of my questions (it was her first day!), but found out and called me back right away. We walked in on a weekend morning. Sylvia, another lovely employee, greeted us and explained the process. The interior is clean, zen, cheerful, colorful, neat and well-organized. My child chose a ceramic and colors, Sylvia laid out the paints, and the père-fils duo got down to business while I settled in a nearby cafe to get some work done. (There is actually a cafe in the back of the store, but it was closed at the time as I'm told they're soon moving to a larger space up Main St.) Although FamCo's senior team member reported that the junior associate gave up halfway and significant intervention was required to help execute his vision and meet the project goal, the assignment was completed with pride, and turned out to be a perfect rainy day activity. Prices vary but most projects are under $35 at the time of writing, more for larger pieces, and includes everything (ceramic, painting, kiln firing). I wish there were some more choices but my child was happy with what he selected. The finished object would be ready to pick up in 10 days, and the senior official in charge was responsible for monitoring the schedule and ensuring timely retrieval of the gift. However, two weeks and an alarming question later ("so when are we supposed to get it?"), it was clear the directive had not been followed, and the Chairman of SteerCo was urged to "come along" on Mother's Day morning to support the final step and ensure deliverables are achieved within deadline. Once again, Sylvia met us as we picked up the finished project - which looks quite much nicer and different in its glazed and completed form than the raw material - and even kindly offered to take our family photo holding it. Artsy also offers workshops & classes, kids & adult paint or pottery parties, summer camp, and mobile events. Whether you want to paint something for yourself, make a gift for someone else, or just find something fun and crafty to do, I highly recommend them!

There was only one person working (our "designated party host") who also was attending to multiple other painting customers and others who wanted smoothies made. She was overworked and overwhelmed. Another mother and I wound up helping the girls in the party with their slime, going so far as to grab the materials needed, hand them out, and help mix and give directions. There were other customers who even arrived, waited at the front door for 5 minutes and then turned around and left due to no one being able to acknowledge them. Our party host did the best she could given the constraints. We've been to many other birthday parties here before and we did not have the same great experience hosting ours. I received an email a few days after the party asking for my feedback, which I filled out honestly. Never heard anything back. ‍ We will return to paint some pottery, but won't ever have a birthday party here.
