I completely messed up my laptop trying to follow a YouTube tutorial to "make my laptop faster". I ended up wiping the operating system somehow. Eric is the best! When my computer when down after a power outage last week, I contacted Eric. He came out and determined that the hard drive on this old computer was going out. He gave me several options for repair or replacement. He quizzed me regarding what I used the computer for. My computer needs are basic...surfing the Internet, paying bills, using Quicken. He suggested that he could replace my computer with a similar one that had a new hard drive in it. As I didn't want to buy a new computer I chose that option. Eric is amazing. He was prompt and great at evaluating our needs. We had previously contacted him for a potential virus on our pc computer and he was able to resolve it over the phone at no cost. This time my Mac was frustratingly slow. He was on time, contacted me prior to arrival and assessed our needs promptly. Eric has been a lifesaver - my hard drive crashed right in the middle of a critical business project, and I was unable to access ANY of my work product. I needed help ASAP, and he was able to come over the next morning before I left for work to see if he could retrieve the data. Unfortunately, that didn't work, but he was able to direct me to a data recovery company in LA that *was* able to retrieve my data (or most of it anyway - will leave another review about the 5+ star service I received from them later). Eric was nice enough to come back with my system to not only reinstall a new hard drive to my machine, but to assist with the download of the streaming data sent from the LA data recovery center. I am still up against my document deadline, and restoration of my system is still a work in progress, but Eric has agreed to assist until we get everything resolved.
