My sister had a computer malfunction. Eric was called in to remove a secondary bad drive and to do a windows restore on the remaining boot drive using windows backup and restore which is part of windows 10. After removing the drive he did not check that he had dislodged the dvd cable and told me the drive was faulty. When I suggested he check to make sure he had not dislodged the wire he snapped back that he was the professional. He had in fact done this and wasted time troubleshooting his own mistake. On restoring the hard drive he said he could not figure it out and did not like the program. $215 later he left unable to restore the computer. I actually had to fly down to Calif, insert the disk and follow the menu. 15 minute and the computer was restoring and in half an hour the computer was back fixed. I myself have repaired computers professionally and it troubled me that he does not take criticism and he charges for his mistakes. Eric did a great job on my laptop. I was unable to boot my laptop, even after trying all the various reset options in the diagnostics. I enjoy working in the early morning . The house is quiet and my mind in fresh to start the day. When I turned on my computer there was this crazy voice activated warning that my computer was infected and I must call their number . It looked like a Microsoft support page .... boy was I a sucker... after 15 min on the phone with the guy hacking into my computer I realized I wad screwed.... With all the great reviews I had high hopes for great service, unfortuantely that was not the case. The internet went down in our office so we needed someone ASAP. I called Eric in the morning and he told me he could come out by 1. I tried calling him around 12:45 to confirm he was on his way and didn't get an answer. I called him 3 more times, texted and never got a response. He finally called me back around 4 and didn't seem to upset that he completely blew me off. I have 2 sons under the age of 2 and about 6 trillion photos and videos...We've all heard to back up your hard drive or save it in a cloud somewhere but I've never don't that on our desktop where all of our photos and videos are saved. One day I went to download another batch of photos and videos and our computer was frozen and all pics and videos were gone!
