Ordered $15K of closet/ garage storage materials/ installation. They screwed up every single step of the way- mis measured, missing parts, wrong parts. Install vendor and the store didn't coordinate. Probably had to call them 10 times to follow up on various issues. Must have talked to every manager to try to get things straight. Never did get everything but GAVE UP. SOOO frustrating! Love the end result of the closets that WERE installed, but many apologies from staff and a $250 gift card just doesn't make up for the hassle. read more

I've only been here a handful of times. The store's layout is okay. I recently went in to get one single basket which was easy enough to find by myself. Had to wait in line at 11am, no big deal. It just was unnecessary because the girl literally cleaned the counter and everything between every single guest. It's silly because my item didn't even touch the counter I handed it right to her and she had so much protective gear on . I just think if it ever were to get busier than the 4 people in line on a week day at 11am, I don't know how they'd handle it. It should be the customer's choice. Regardless. There was tons of staff in store all stocking, none asked for help. Which is fine by me, but I know that deters people sometimes so it's worth mentioning. Plenty of parking as this store is next to the King of Prussia mall (not in it) The store is huge with tons of organization options. Nice store in the King of Prussia Mall area for all your container needs! Really is a neat store...tons of different products in a nicely lit, well laid out store. Staff is also friendly and helpful! As someone else noted, the parking lot seems to really fill up right before opening time and there is a mad dash for the store! I assume this will pass as time does... So they have plenty of things you can use to organize your house...and if you are lucky you can find the perfect item that fits exactly where you want\need it...I picked up a sliding basket to make it easier to get to things in the back of a cabinet...it fits, and it makes it easier to access things in the back of the cabinet...But you actually lose the storage space around the basket...so it works for organization, but didn't help us with our storage space issue... I was looking at some of their wire management solutions...little packs of clips with adhesive you can stick them to furniture and park your charging cables...they put their own sticker\price over the UPC code\price it was packaged with...walmart\home depot\staples probably has the exact same thing without the markup... So check it out...It's a neat store, clean, well lit and well staffed...a bit like a mini ikea without the swedish meatballs... read more

I love the container store. So it was no question I was excited about the King of Prussia opening. I missed the opening weekend festivities, but made it the following Monday. Understandably, the store is a bit over staffed, but everyone was awesome! Nice, helpful, communicative without being "sales-y." HORRIBLE employees!!! An older fake blonde woman circa 1981 yelled at me and my kid yesterday because my kid was standing on a two step ladder when I was right there saying that he could "get hurt" and that it "was for employees only." I understand it's tough having to work on a holiday when you barely have anyone in the store, but yelling at people and pretending to show concern isn't necessary. There are better ways to communicate with people. This employee desperately needs costumer service and anger management help. I truly hope she gets it for the sake of the patrons. My newest obsession. A playground for my OCD. I could spend hours here picking the perfect pieces to organize every inch of my life. The store is laid out by location (laundry, kitchen, etc) but it's worth it going up and down every aisle as you may find something works better elsewhere. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They want to be sure you get everything you need and are satisfied. They have a perks program that sends you coupons - who doesn't love coupons. Sign up ASAP. I've been hearing about this place for awhile, and I know that it's considered one of the best places to work, but I've never actually stopped inside. This past Sunday I decided to check it out, unfortunately they don't open until 11am, which is pretty late to me, but whatever. I sat in my car for 10 mins before they opened, and within that 10 mins, around a dozen cars pulled into the lot. The doors weren't even fully opened to the store before people were running in. I thought maybe I missed the memo about the free products they were giving out! I went inside and everything was super organized and well laid out inside the store; i.e. Laundry, Office, Bathrooms, etc. I liked that everything had it's own area, so you didn't have to wander around the store all day. It wasn't as large inside as I was expecting, but there's nothing wrong with that. There were some great products and awesome organizational tools, but honestly, the prices were too high for my price points. It is in King of Prussia, so I'm sure people in that area are more likely to purchase from that store, then I am, so they aren't worrying about it. It kind of felt like the older, more refined brother of IKEA. I will say, if you're going to stop by the store, check out their website first. I went online before hand and ordered clearance products and picked store pickup. When I got to the store, I saw that the products were cheaper online, than they were in the store. If cleanliness is next to godliness, then this place is glorious. I perused their many helpful products, but kept myself to only one purchase since this was my first trip (I must pace myself). I ended up walking out with a mini shelf to help organize my spices. Now every time I go to get some cumin, my heart sings with the organization of it all. The store itself was clean and well organized. Even if you are not a super clean freak, it is cool to see what they have. This place is a organizers dream come true!! I've never been here when it was crowded. A little on the expensive side depending on what your buying. They have good sales and a reward programs that offers 15% off an item. Also I believe you are suppose to get a birthday reward although I've never received one. Beautiful, bright store. Had high hopes coming into this store. Being an organizing store it seemed everything inside was unorganized. No items had any prices on them and when we asked a worker where the prices were located she said under the product on the shelf.... well I guess the workers gave up on making sure items were in the correct location and also making sure the tabs were filled with prices because half of them were empty and it took us majority of the time there just figuring out what the prices were. Also tracking down workers that are even willing to help without making you feel like you have bothered them is another big issue. I left with stress and won't be returning any time soon. read more

Saturday evening and everyone is trying to get organized. The store is busy & in any retail business Today BUSY is a great thing. Unfortunately Maria was the only one (of the 10+ people running around the store and behind the register) who thought it was important to say HELLO upon making eye contact with a customer, even if she is busy. One girl was so abrupt when I said excuse me (after she look at me and stated using the computer in front of me) I felt shamed and walked away. In a stern voice she said "what can I do for you"? Supposedly Chris Kaiser is the store manager... Do better Chris, just do better! Multitasking and acknowledging customers is a minimal expectation in ANY business. I will be returning my purchase. I found something else at Target that works even better. It's really funny that there was 9 reviews before I posted mine. Whoa..this is serious stuff for organization freaks! My first time at the Container Store and there is a great selection of closet, cabinet and kitchen organizing stuff....somethings you would never have even dreamed about are here. Their selection of small to large kitchen gadgets is very good, again some very unique. Price wise, i would say most things are comparable to what i have seen on Amazon, etc. with only a few what i would consider great buys for the quality--but fact is, I am someone who likes to feel, hold and use a product typically before i buy it. What the Container Store may lack in discounted pricing...they more than make up with in selection and quality. We were thrilled that the Oxo line of push button top sealable containers were on sale. These had been recommended by a friend of ours who also has an RV trailer. In fact the day we were there all kitchen things were 15% off, plus i opened an email account to get their newsletter and will be sent a $25 gift card. So we saved a lot....but also managed to easily spend $197 (our Oxo 10pc kit was $99 of that-but again with the 15% discount that day it was worth it)! I am not big into major closet organization but they have a lot of things you can use to create great closet spaces too. We spent nearly an hour and a half plowing through every aisle. If my daughter had been with me, it would have been hard to pull her out of the store. Really cool stuff for us to use in our RV vintage trailer to keep things from rolling around in cupboards and to use in the kitchen that have a funky vintage feel too. We will be back, sure wish there was one of these stores closer to where we live north of Albany NY. We visited the one in King of Prussia, PA while on another trip to that area. read more

Had a wonderful experience here this weekend! The customer service was absolutely superb! I was looking for a shelf for a nursery. I was approached within several minutes to see if I needed help. The person was not at all pushy and gave me space while i decided. When I had chosen the shelf (which was on sale!) she had a gentleman carry it to my car. While the store was busy, all of the people on the floor as well as at the registers were happy and helpful. It was a pleasure shopping there! read more
