If your shopping for a cake or cookie cake, 100% go with The Cookie Bar! I reached out to several bakeries in the LV area. The Cookie Bar is the only one who responded and based on other bakery's website prices, The Cookie Bar was a fraction of the price. I used their IM tool on website & received immediate response from owner, who's also the baker. Wasn't a computer. Their customer service is phenomenal! I was emailed multiple cake options, tailored specifically for my event, within a few minutes. Payment was quick & easy. Jennifer really went out of her way to help me. I'm not from the area and she even recommended an amazing restaurant. I was emailed a picture of completed cookie cake & status texts throughout the delivery process. I have placed multiple orders with The Cookie Bar and I absolutely adore their "Buzz Kill" and "Snickerdoodle" cookies. The cookies are neatly packaged, delivered in an adorable gift bag, and always fresh and indulgent. I even sent some to my friend as a gift and she loved them, they are the perfect present. The owner of the store is very considerate and thoughtful towards their customers; I received a beautiful handwritten letter thanking me for my repeat order! It was so kind of them to remember me and it meant a lot to me. Additionally, the "Crème Brûlée" cookie is a must-try!! I needed a last minute birthday surprise for someone. The cookie bar made it completely seamless. I put in an order online for the birthday box and specified the delivery date. I was worried about the delivery since I had never ordered from them and hadn't heard anything since the initial email but I sent them a text and they responded right away letting me know it was being prepped for delivery. I probably could have not texted but I was worried it wouldn't arrive. The box is beautiful and I was told that they hand delivered it and even said Happy Birthday themselves. I loved being able to add a card and a balloon. The balloon made it a little more birthday special. Thank you for the great service! read more

The desserts here have almost rendered me speechless- they're that good! Luckily I'm typing. I found this place looking for a treat while in the area for work. It's inside the Cannery West shopping mall area as a tiny kiosk right inside the door, decorated in lots of pink and Jenny is there with a smile. She was just unpacking and setting up at 11AM when, and she was happy to chat with me about the company she and her mom started, baking alcohol into sweet treats fresh every morning. I opted for the PB KITCHEN SINK (cookie bottom with brownie top, peanut butter cup in the middle and on top), which was huge and delicious- BF inhaled it. Anyone allergic to peanut products should just give up on life for not being able to partake of such deliciousness. Also got the IRISH STOUT- giant, fudgy brownie infused with Guiness beer and topped with a dollop of frosting. BF went nuts for this as well, as he is a chocoholic. It was a bit too much for me, but flavors were good. Lastly, with our purchase, we got a free new item Jenny and her mom are trying out: an ORANGE CREAMSICLE cookie sandwich. It is heavenly and was by far my favorite, with sweet cookies (possibly a blondie?) that were so soft and chewy, my favorite cookie texture! The light but sweet cream between wasn't too sugary and only had a hint of orange flavor, courtesy of the Grand Marnier they are spiked with. Divine! Thrilled to have found such a secret sweets spot! read more

I don't give five star reviews, they must be earned. Best cookies ever...first found them at the Wine Amplified Festival a couple years ago. They were serving out of their little pink truck. After a day of wine and beer and gourmet food truck fare we were in serious need of some sweets. Seriously good munchies, seriously good. If memory serves had morsels with Baileys, chocolate, lemon and something else (not mixed) that were to die for. We cashed out the rest of our account on treats and took some home. I don't even want to know what it cost but on my birthday someone from their shop showed up at the door with a pink box wrapped tastefully with a black ribbon. Inside were a dozen assorted lumps of absolute nirvana (not the band.) Spike in blood sugar, oh yeah. Did I share? Well yeah but they all owe me now. I froze a few and enjoyed them over the next few weeks....so good. read more

Me want cookie! The Cookie Bar is a small sugar infused bar inside a weird building that's wedged in-between two other businesses; super interesting location. The cookies, oh the cookies! Holy food-gasm, these cookies are amazing and there's so many to choose from. The case is full of freshly baked alcohol infused and non-alcohol, sugar mixed doughy delights. I went with the non-alcoholic cookies...I mean, I was working. I ordered the "PB Kitchen Sink, this was more like a "Brookie", (Brownie + Cookie = Brookie) super rich and full of different textures and flavors, plus they add a peanut butter cup to the top of this beautiful "Brookie". My GF ordered the "Tipsy Red Velvet", which is a red velvet, white chocolate chip cookie with a white frosting drizzle. This cookie is almost worth the diabetes, seriously I could eat about twenty! I also tried the "Buzzkill" which is the standard, well not that standard, chocolate chip cookie. I don't know how the Cookie Bar does it, but their ability to keep a cookie crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside really amazes me. The Buzzkill is the perfect pairing for a tall glass of milk and by the way, it comes FREE when you check-in to the "Cookie Bar", booyah! This place is awesome and I love seeing local mom + pop shops, although technically this is a mom + daughter shop, flourish and thrive. You know those alcohol infused cookies you get at the foodie fests? Well you dont have to wait to have them there now. The Cookie Bar has the Drunk Pumpkin Punch and the Booze Munch right here available to buy! Here meaning in a kiosk inside the Cannery West right next to Village Pub. Just follow the sign that says "The Cookie Bar". It's a huge banner, you cant miss it when you are driving down Flamingo. In fact that's how I spotted this place! Love the cookies, cool concept, they carry both alcohol infused ones and without booze. After sampling their goodies at a Yelp event, I couldn't wait to find these guys out in the wild. Well, I guess a park is wild enough. The Cookie Bar is an relatively undersized food truck featuring some alcohol-infused cookies, some non-alcoholic cookies, and a few other goodies. They bake their stuff in an actual kitchen and they bag and tag the products for sale wherever they should go. They also do delivery, which I am going to consider in the future after the multiple samplings of their products. They showed up to Sunset Park'd today, filling in the baked desserts niche very capably. I'd planned to visit them and convinced my friends to try them as well. While not everything was a hit, I definitely had some favorites. In a very particular order (favorite to least favorite), here's a list of what we shared: - Booze Munch ($5 for a bag): to my great disappointment, it seems like this was the only alcohol-infused item today. It's caramel rum puffed corn, and the rum-touched sweetness perfectly melds with the awesome texture. Each piece is crunchy but quickly dissolves in your mouth. It kinda leaves you longing for more, and I'm concerned that the second bag that I picked up for my at-home enjoyment won't be enough. - Nookie ($2 per cookie): new item for me, and awesome in spite of the lack of alcohol. Chocolate chip pecan cookie stuffed with caramel. The caramel contrbutes just enough of a gooey feel, and the overall texture and flavor is on par with the best chocolate chip cookies that I've had. I might actually get over the tragic loss of the 346 Patisserie chocolate chip cookies if I can get a steady supply of these. - Pumpkin Punch ($3): a significant disappointment. I just realized that this was not the rum-infused version that I loved at that Yelp event. It still has a nice pumpkin flavor with a good cream cheese frosting and crunchy chopped walnuts, but it's just not the same without rum. - Chocolate Mojito ($2): it's pretty much an Andes Chocolate Mint in cookie form, for better or for worse. I'm gonna lean toward the latter. It was gooey but not the kind of flavor that I want in a chocolate chip cookies. - Tipsy Velvet ($2): despite the name, again it's not the alcohol-infused version. I can't remember whether I actually tried it at the Yelp event, but it wasn't memorable then, and it won't be too memorable now. Red velvet and white chocolate are not my favorite take on that dessert, but the texture was still good as always. - Limoncello Cookie ($2): also not memorable, just a simple lemon cookie with a lemon liqueur glaze. It's not outright bad, but it's roughly event with the Tipsy Velvet for my least enjoyed cookie today. I hope that The Cookie Bar will come around to Henderson or parts nearby with more alcohol-infused treats. I get that it's a family-oriented food truck gathering that they attended today, but don't forget the adults! Or if you actually had those treats available on your shelves but not on your menu, give us poor folks a heads-up. We'll appreciate you more for it. read more

The packaging, the product, the service - all WONDERFUL! I ordered a local delivery in Vegas as a gift, and in the process my 6 year old asked me to get some cookies delivered to PA. Talk about service above and beyond. The delivery was also above and beyond what I would expect. A very busy hotel was the drop point and it was handled seamlessly. What do you do if you forget your brother's birthday? Order Cookie Bar delivery! Within an hour (through Yelp Eat24), I ordered an Afternoon Delight box to be sent to my brother's office with a note. He texted as soon as it was delivered and showed me the goods -- plenty for him to share with his co-workers and still leave some for his private stash. Note: I sent to his work because his family is gluten-free. This way he could have a sweet cookie snack and not feel guilty for enjoying in front of others who can't have a taste. Where have you guys been hiding? I am seriously so happy you guys have such a great and unique company. After the first day I saw you guys crossed the room at the Shelby Museum, I could not stop having these cravings for the delicious desserts that you guys prepare. My eyes opened so wide the first taste I had put in my mouth... And from that day I was hooked. My favorite has to be the Booze Munch, this would be under the alcohol infused treats. The taste and texture when you have your first bite is just heavenly. Honestly I don't usually like sweets nor am I a big sweet tooth person, but this place is so addicting. They almost look like popcorn but just little bit bigger. They don't have the kernel inside its just the puff, I think that is why it's so exciting to eat. Its crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside. I had a box of Booze Munch personally delivered to me at my work. At that time it was around my birthday so my girlfriend decided to surprise me. It had a cute note that they write for you going off what my girlfriend wanted it to say, plus they wrap it in a big bow and a pink box. The Booze Munch are only $5 a bag, so I had four full bags inside. Let me tell you for $5 its so worth it, its a good size for one bag. I think it took me like less than two week to eat them all. That was a good day! I give you guys a a pat in the back for such a great business, definitely count on me to come back for more treats! Keep up the good work! *Tips 1. If you are one of those people that like the taste of rum, this is for you! Jennifer corrected an issue we had(Not caused by her) She two day shipped us a huge box of cookies and various baked goods!!! She didn't have to do that and really went out of our way including with the packaging and details. We have already tried some of the cookies and they were very good. (I am a baker so believe me when I say that! Even after a few days they still taste amazing.) She also sent us some puffcorn, I think that's what it's called, which is amazing and hard to find around here so we really loved that! Amazing customer service and when we are in town again we will definitely be using the cookie bar! read more

Cookies and milk delivery?! This was the perfect gift to send my boyfriend for our anniversary. The Cookie Bar has a very user friendly website that makes ordering a breeze. I opted for a dozen assorted cookies and one quart of almond milk (they also offer whole, skim, and chocolate). They offer cups for $1 more. I didn't get cups and after tax and delivery, my order came out to $45. I immediately received a confirmation email. I didn't get an explicit confirmation for the delivery date that I requested so I texted them day-of and they confirmed that my order was indeed going out during my desired date and time. The price tag seems high for a dozen cookies and milk, but when you take into account the quality, convenience and luxury of a hand delivery, and the surprise factor, it's a steal. They even hand write your message in a card. My boyfriend was so happy and said every single cookie was delicious. His favorites were the Chocolate Mojito and Walnut Brookie. He said the Limoncello was too crumbly but still good. They also offer a variety of alcohol-infused cookies but I kept it simple this time around. Maybe next time :) read more

History

Established in 2012.

This is truly a family business. At the heart of our operation are Wendy and Jenny, a mother and daughter duo who have been hosting parties and weddings for their family and friends for years. Wendy has been in the food and beverage industry for over 30 years and Jenny has been learning from her mom since she was "helping" in the kitchen at age five. Jenny met Caleb at in 2013 and he joined the team and built all the Cookie Bar Trucks. Caleb keeps everything moving and runs all of our special events. Now, the rest of the family is following in their footsteps. Children and grandchildren are taste testers, siblings are photographers and heavy-lifters (brothers are good at that stuff), sisters help coordinate and we all fill in the missing pieces. With such a fun concept, we had to have a fun group of people. Lucky for us, we didn't have to look any further than our own family!

Our cookie journey started in 2012, selling our small batch gourmet treats from a tent at First Friday and other community events. We have evolved to a full online storefront, providing local delivery, curbside pick-up, and shipping nationwide. We also own the sweetest food truck fleet in Las Vegas. Both items were on the sweeter side, and I usually don't like very sweet desserts, so that may just be a personal preference.

My friend had cash on him, and he was willing to pay cash if that's less of a hassle, and still no. It's not even to-go only, it was a flat-out no, before their 10pm closing time. THAT IS CALLED CRAP SERVICE. However, the 3 stars instead of 1 or 2 stars is because one anonymous employee who witnessed that go down changed my perspective of this spot. This person asked me not to reveal their identity on my Yelp review out of fear of getting in trouble. They overheard me trying to order but got turned away, then pointed to the macaron in a box in the fridge on display right there to my friend. So as I was walking towards the bathroom, this person (different than the girl who rudely turned me away) apologized for what happened and gave me the apple cinnamon macaron as a gift. That was so sweet of them. The macaron was absolutely perfect too, it was delicious - the perfect texture of the macarons, apple filling, in the center between the cream, with the crunch from I think they were dried apple bits on the side of the cream - amazing!!! But still insanely Vegas tourist trap rip off overpriced with the macaron that person gave me worth $8.35/piece. Honey & Butter Macarons in Irvine, CA or Durian Macarons at Sweet Mood in Westminster, CA, still keep their also delicious macarons under $5 each while having cute decor/ambiance (I'll admit they're not as impressive and unique as this spot though). But they're essentially banking on tourists not knowing any better and what things should actually be worth/gouging tourists as much as they can. Essentially, you're paying for the ambiance. Definitely not paying for the crap service. Food is good, but not astronomically priced good - you're kidding yourselves. You may be able to get away with stuff like that if you're inside one of the luxurious casinos on the Strip, like Venetian, Caesars, Bellagio, etc. But especially being off-strip, get a reality check. I may come back (thanks to your anonymous employee's kind gesture giving me that macaron), but it's more just to show my parents the cool ambiance.

Despite cooling down a bit, they stayed pretty warm (I still microwaved for good measure). These cookies are incredibly gooey, not at all cakey, and just sweet enough to still be flavorful. Infinitely surpasses the quality of chains like Crumbl. Great stop in Centennial Hills amongst several businesses. Even relatively walkable for Las Vegas. Sweet find!

My family and I have supported Suzuya since the very beginning, when the first location opened on Durango. We've watched the business grow over the years, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Unfortunately, today's visit was one of the worst customer service experiences I've had. I ordered a breakfast crepe, a curry cheese sandwich, a mango mochi, and a whole cake. The breakfast items were served without any fork or knife. When I asked for utensils, there was no effort to provide them. The mango mochi was also served without utensils. When I politely asked the staff member wearing the mask for a fork, she simply replied, "You don't need utensils." That response honestly surprised me. Mango mochi is sticky and messy to eat by hand. It wasn't about the fork itself--it was the complete lack of willingness to provide even the most basic customer service. The bigger issue was when I purchased a birthday cake for a friend. I was told there were no bags available for a 6-inch cake. However, I saw other customers receiving bags. I even asked, "If I buy two more cakes, making it three cakes total, would you be able to give me a bag? I only have two hands." The answer was still no. That response simply made no sense. What made the experience even more upsetting was how I was treated because I had my service dog with me. My dog is a professionally trained service dog--not a pet. He remained calm throughout the entire visit. He never barked, never approached anyone, never disturbed other customers, and simply laid quietly beside me. Despite that, I was questioned about whether he was a service dog, whether he had a service vest, and then told that because I had my service dog with me, we would have to sit outside. I found this extremely disappointing. My dog was behaving exactly as a trained service dog should, yet I was still directed outside solely because he was with me. I sincerely hope the staff receive proper training on how to respectfully interact with customers who rely on service animals. Every customer deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. After being directed outside because of my service dog and then repeatedly being refused basic accommodations that should have been simple to provide, it became difficult not to question whether my service dog influenced the way I was treated. I truly hope that wasn't the case, but it certainly felt that way. This isn't just my opinion anymore. Many friends have shared the same experience with me over the years: the cakes are excellent, but the customer service is consistently disappointing. People return because the desserts are amazing--not because of the hospitality. Sadly, it often feels like there's no warmth or genuine care for customers. I've always heard wonderful things about Mike, and from what I've seen, he seems like a genuinely kind person. I can't help but wonder how he would feel if he knew loyal customers were leaving with experiences like this. I'm usually not someone who complains or leaves negative reviews. It takes a lot for me to write something like this. But after years of supporting this business, I believe this experience needed to be shared. Suzuya truly makes fantastic desserts, and that's exactly why this review is so disappointing for me to write. Great products should never be an excuse for poor customer service. Loyal customers deserve to feel welcomed, respected, and appreciated--not dismissed.
