I've never had a bad cookie from The Cookie Corner. The smores cookie is ono - ooey gooey chocolate chip with marshmallow, but then so is the brownie cookie - it fulfills my chocolate craving, crispy on the outside, but chewy soft on the inside. Then there is the rice crispy treat - just the right size! And then there is the li hing mango shortbread cookies in a giftable container. We went before closing time yesterday (7:00 PM) and my aunt went first thing to Cookie Corner to buy more cookies. (I'd like to note she already went twice to 2 different Cookie Corner stores earlier this week too.) Immediately after my aunt asked about another flavor not in the display, the guy employee had an attitude. *There's a reason certain flavors should have limited batches and mind you, all the cookies in the display had a flatter, darker look to them compared to other CCH stores. But I get it- it's up to whoever bakes it because Mililani also had flat & dark cookies. I personally prefer Pearlridge Downtown & Windward Mall's locations because they're smaller, thicker & lighter cookies. Anyways get somebody to check on the Uptown store please. Cookie corner always has the cutest ready to go cookies for gifts, bought some cute snowman packaging w chocolate chip cookies for the coworkers for $8.50 each. Cookie corner macadamia shortbread and the lilikoi fruit bars also makes for great gifts for the mainland. My favorite treat for myself are the larger cookies, freshly baked chocolate chip, chocolate dipped peanut butter and chocolate dipped shortbread. So good! read more

With the scent of fresh baked cookies flowing through the area, you are drawn here to taste Cookie Corner delights. I stopped by here to pick up two ( I wanted more!) cookies! It's just to warm to bake at home, so I stop by here to pick up fresh baked cookies. My kids always request a cup mini cookies to go. The cup cookies are crisp, while the regular sized cookies are crispy on the outside and chewy soft on the inside. Yummy. All products were nicely organized and displayed. Went to the mililani store and they were out of the boxed cookies my husband wanted for his trip. He asked the store to call pearlridge and the manager said it's best for the customer to call. Okayyyy... so my husband looked up the phone number and called. Pearl did have it and also put it on hold for him. He picked it up with ease. Thank you, Pearlridge store! Whenever we go to pearlridge We usually go in the morning when the mall isn't to crowded so we've never stood in line at cookie corner before LOL. I was in line on Thursday night (3/6 at approx 7:30) and walked by on Saturday (3/8 around the same time). Both nights.... One of the workers sprayed the inside of the glass with cleaner. I don't care if it's non-toxic. You should t be spraying anything INSIDE the display case when u have the cookies out in there. I was shocked that nobody seemed to notice or even mind the solution slowly dripping down the glass. Don't know if it got in the cookies but at that point, u may as well spray the cookies. Give yourself a treat Located center of the mall next to Starbucks (yea you read that review) you'll get whiff of freshly baked cookies in the oven. They don't carry a large variety of cookies. About 10 of their regular stables but usually one unique cookie. Today was the s'mores cookie. It is pricey but can you really say no to fresh baked still warm cookies? I got three cookies and it came out to about $8. Cookies prices are either set amount per piece or by weight. I got the M&M $2.99 apiece and two s'mores $2.49. They also sell cookies per box or tin along the side. Overall four stars. They are pricey and sometimes hard as a rock if you get them cold but good still. Now excuse me, I need a drink. This is one of my favorite places to get cookies. I especially love their chocolate chip, snickerdoodle and oatmeal raisin cookies. It's a must whenever I'm in the area. The only problem I have is that the variety of cookies they have on hand vary every time. But their cookies are good so regardless of what you get, you're getting a quality cookie. My husband took advantage of their 20 for $21 promo they are currently having, and came home with a whole bunch of oatmeal raisin cookies. Even little kiddies enjoy the taste of these cookies. On this particular day we got 4 M&M cookies since toddler is allergic to anything with nuts or milk, even to be in the same vicinity is a big medical no no. If I was flying solo I'd get chocolate chip with nuts or double walnut nugget which is very chocolately. My experience is always repetitive with the Corner. I'm done with lunch, full as can be, pass by, say to myself "No, I don't need it," smell the heavenly aromatics, and end up buying a single Chocolate Chip Walnut Cookie. This problem happens at Ala Moana, and Pearlridge; it has no prejudices. Soft, chewy, pure decadence. TWO YUMS UP! Service was friendly and quick. I bought this 1 1/2 lbs cookie for about $27. I've had Cookie cakes for my birthdays growing up so I thought I'd get one for my son. The Cookie Corner located on the second floor near the escalators of Pearlridge Downtown. Who can resist the smell freshly baked cookies while at the mall? The aroma gets to me every time. My nose just follows the scent until I reach Cookie Corner. I was greeted right away by one of the female employees. Normally I would always order a large cup of bite size chocolate chip cookies whenever I am at any Cookie Corner location but the advertisement of 2 cookies and a Pepsi for $3.89 got my attention. "I'll have a chocolate chip and the shortbread cookies as my choices. Is it the small cup for the drink?" I had asked the employee. "Any size fountain cup," was her reply. After paying for my transaction I went straight to the fountain machine and grabbed the biggest cup. I believe it was the 44oz cup that I grabbed. I debated on whether to get Pepsi, Mountain Dew, or Fruit Punch. Sometimes I would do a Mountain Dew Fruit Punch mix...but I ended up choosing Mountain Dew as my drink. Drink is made. On my way to the HIC store at Pearlridge Center, I could smell fresh baked cookies in the air. It was driving me crazy! It smelled so good, I just had to see where the yumminess was coming from! I didn't have to walk too far until I turned the corner & saw the Cookie Corner. The cookies in the window looked delicious. They were big, fluffy, and fresh. Nothing like Mrs. Fields & Nestle Tollhouse cookies. At this point I just had to try them. I planned on buying just 5 cookies, but ended up with a dozen! I got 4 chocolate chips, 2 double chocolate chip, 2 shortbreads, 2 oatmeal chocolate chip, and 2 peanut butter cookies. The young man helping me was very nice. He boxed everything nicely & placed it into a pretty red bag. Since he sealed the box, I had to wait. Back at the hotel I had my first bite of the chocolate chip cookie. It was AMAZING! Trips to The Cookie Corner (specifically the Pearlridge location) were a treasured part of my childhood. When mom went shopping and I had to come along, I often got a treat. The "Chocolate Chip" cookie from this small bakery was one of my favorites. It always tasted like it just came out of the oven - warm, fresh, gooey, soft, chewy and loaded with melted chocolate chips. As a kid, the "Chocolate Chip" was my go-to. The Cookie Corner is still one of my favorite places to go if I'm craving a good cookie. Yes, they've changed over the years--they now include a variety of products, including lemon bars and brownies--but the homemade taste of the cookies has remained the same. Of course, now, I have a variety of "go-tos" I select from at The Cookie Corner, depending on my preference for the day. I generally love any type of cookie from this spot because the majority are soft, chewy and moist (I love soft and chewy cookies, as opposed to crispy, crunchy ones). Some of my favorites from The Cookie Corner include: The "M&M" Cookie: This cookie is slightly larger than the rest (and is a bit more expensive), but this treat is worth it. It's completely chockfull of M&M candies (loaded generously ... they sure aren't stingy with the candies) so you get at least one (often two or three) in every bite. The cookie itself is soft and chewy, just like many of the bakery's other creations. "Peanut Butter and Chocolate" Cookie: This cookie is the perfect choice for all peanut butter-chocolate lovers. It features a soft peanut butter cookie as its base, with half of the cookie covered in chocolate. The peanut butter cookie itself is soft and simply melts in your mouth; the chocolate-covered part is simply to die for. "Peanut Butter" Cookie: For the traditional peanut butter lovers, this cookie is the best option. It's not your typical hard, crispy peanut butter cookie; instead, it sports a soft, chewy texture. The cookie cakes also sold at The Cookie Corner are great alternatives for those who don't like regular cake (like I didn't when I was little). They come in different shapes and you can even customize the message on top of it (at least, this was possible the last time I ever got a cookie cake). I remember getting "birthday cookie cakes" in a variety of shapes (bear, flower, rainbow) and always savored the chewy, moist, chocolate chip goodness that lasted for the next few days (leftover cookie pieces were definitely a plus). Even though I don't get to visit The Cookie Corner nearly as often as I would like to nowadays, it will always have a special place in my heart (and my taste buds). There isn't really a substitute for it (though I've come across MANY delicious and unique cookie shops in L.A.). Maybe it's nostalgia. Maybe it's because it was part of my childhood. But the bottom line is, there's just some places in Hawaii that you were "born and raised in" as an islander and they simply become a tradition and part of your life, whether you're aware of it or not. Cookie corner is excellent at engaging the taste buds from a quarter mile away. Naturally we always order what smells the best, the gooey goodness of the chocolate chip cookie. Instead we were feeling a bit adventurous and went with the half shortbread, half chocolate cookie and the peanut butter chocolate cookie, because the chocolate chip cookies were looking a bit small that day. (I think they've gotten smaller over the past 2 years or so) When we bit into the cookies they were both hard on the inside. Splitting the shortbread cookie proved disastrous as most of it crumbled to the floor. We would have returned them, but we were in line at the movies. This is a dangerous spot, especially being next to the elevators and escalators as you leave the food court. I usually get the chocolate chip cookie, which runs about $1.50 (cookies get weighed) and sometimes an icee too. The cookies are baked perfectly where it's slightly crispy outside and soft inside. The chocolate chips are gooey and get on your fingers, but I'm not complaining. A big plus if the cookies are still warm, they melt in your mouth! This is pretty much a kiosk so there are no tables to sit and enjoy your snack, so grab a few extra napkins because you will be needing it to wipe off the chocolate. They also have other varieties of cookies, Rice Krispie bars and brownies here also. They also have pre wrapped cups of cookies for gifts or to take home. read more
