I'll be honest--I had no idea this place even existed! I'm rarely on this side of Locust (south of Mulberry), but after stopping in, that's definitely going to change. I picked up a Double Chocolate S'mores and a Vanilla Bean Sugar cookie--one for now, one for later... though the second one barely made it home. The Double Chocolate S'mores was the standout for me--soft, rich, with gooey marshmallow on top and a graham cracker base that tied it all together. The Vanilla Bean Sugar cookie was also super soft and had a great flavor--simple, but really well done. I'll definitely be going back for both. All cookies are nut free, and there is also a selection of gluten free and vegan options. They had a solid lineup of coffee and teas, which I didn't get to try this time, but it's good to know for next visit. The place also has a cozy little seating area where you can kick back with your cookies, sip something warm, and catch whatever's playing on the TV. The staff was great and answered every question we had, even giving us some insight on some *secret menu* items. Great find all around!

Cookie crave is now on my top list for favorite cookie places in the DFW area. I tried a Oreo biscoff cookie, which felt like I was lucking out with 3 cookies in one. They let me know the owner had made banana pudding that day & it was in their cooler. Made with banana slices mixed in; I knew I had to take a cup home for later! The team member working today was 100% one of the sweetest people that I've met! I hope to swing by for more cookies when I'm visiting this area of Denton again.

Service was outstanding during our visit to Cookie crave, which is located in a great section of Denton that gives you the chance to try multiple local spots right near each other. I tried a peach cobbler cookie which was outstanding! I would have liked a little more pieces of fruit, but knowing what I do about baking I 100% get why adding more would compromise keeping the cookies from crumbling. They do monthly rotations of cookies, but you can special order favorites with a minimum of 6 for a pre-order. I look forward to coming back next time my wife wants to stop by recycled books down the street.

While in the Denton area, I came across this cookie place and I'm glad I stopped by. I was greeted by Cam who recommended her favorite cookies and explained that all cookies are made are nut free. They also have vegan cookies that are gluten, nut, dairy and soy free. This cookie shop is located in a small strip that has other small businesses. The inside of the store has plenty of natural light, a play area for kiddos and plenty of places to sit. The prices are reasonable as well. I got the vegan sugar cookie which was delicious. In addition, I got the oatmeal explosion (which has toffee and chocolate in it so yummy) and the banana cream cookie. These cookies were flavorful, big and were some of the best cookies I've ever had. I look forward to returning for the friendly customer service, the cheery atmosphere and the delicious cookies.

Love the cookies!! We got lemon, cookie&cream, confetti, sweet& salty, and strawberry. Also one other flavor I cannot remember right now but they're all good. The store owner/worker were also very friendly and welcoming. I'll definitely be back.

The Caramel Apple cookies were so good they didn't make the shot...oops! Lol

Ooooh my WORD!!! ... Just finished my first cookie from The Cookie Crave (Caramel Apple). It was INSANELY delicious!?! I really had no clue what to expect bc the images on Doordash are pretty small, but they are actually about 5" in diameter. (The other flavors are about 3"). ANYWHO...they were super "buttery", yet light?? They were PACKED with ripe apple flavor and these sweet little drops of caramel!! Ugh...I should've ordered more of that flavor ..

I can't say ENOUGH wonderful things about this business. I work at the Target off the Loop and we had them cater an MLK Jr. Day event we had today. Veronica , the owner, was quick to respond, so easy to work with, delivered earlier then the ETA, and the products were so EXTRAORDINARILY delicious. My team gobbled up all of the cookies. Do yourself a favor and support this small business while delighting your taste buds!

All of their selections are very good and very fresh and you have to come by frequently to see what is rotating in and out - like seasonal baked items depending on the holidays. Lots to choose from - it's almost impossible for me to choose and keep from buying more than my family will eat. Great customer service, great quality and the prices are so good. Why aren't there more bakeries like Lucy's in North Texas?! Regarding my 21 years here, I lived in Allen for most of that time and there are a couple grocery stores over there but their selections were woefully lacking compared with what Lucy's offers - also they weren't as fresh. Lucy's is what's up.

I'll try a new bakery now and then, in search of a good place close to me. I'm very picky on the flavors of the bakery's breads and such. I'll usually try a new bakery at least once. If it doesn't grab me the first time, I'll move on. It was really good. The concha's have a little flavor, they could use just a little bit more anise, but not enough to keep me from buying them. The empanadas were fantastic! I love Gallinas, but this place didn't have them, maybe next time. This will be my permanent bakery, unless I move out of this area.

I wish that wasn't the case but I'll not be back. It seems like such a simple thing to double check the spelling when you write anything on a cake. How are you still in business yet you don't seem to care about the quality of your craft? Edit: and we cut into the cake tonight and it's not even what I ordered hahaha. Ridiculous! I ordered a German Chocolate Cake but received a chocolate cake with fudge icing. I should have suspected something was about to go wrong when I had to coach the girl who took my order that I wanted German Chocolate when she asked what kind of icing I needed. Either she doesn't know or doesn't care. When I called today they wouldn't give me a discount for the name misspelling and I didn't even know we would have even more problems. Candy Haven, you should take more care with what you make and treat your customers better.
