We tried Celebrations first, but the selection there was quite paltry. Carrie Johnson had many more dresses and my consultant was great -- not pushy and just the right amount of attentive and energetically helpful. She was able to pull several dresses in my budget that fit what I was looking for. Would recommend trying for a weekday. This was never specified as the others who went to the locations in the MPLS area didn't need to. Mind you the worker is sitting behind the desk on his phone. He said he is auditing before the next appointment that happened to be late. He looked on his phone and said "oh, the last appointment just filled up". He asked how far it was for me to drive in and i told him about 30 minutes, he then proceeded to tell me that if it were more than an hour he would have found a way to fit me in. (ummm what?). He then told me to schedule an appointment online and I left. Not impressed. A few others in the group reported zero issues with their experience, however the ones that went to St. Cloud had nothing but issues. The groom eventually decided to move to a different company because it was cheaper and we could keep the suits instead of rent. Those who wanted to cancel at St. Cloud had to go in cancel. They wouldn't accept anything over the phone. Even though the other stores do. Then when they went in they said they couldn't do anything because the groom hasn't cancelled with them (which he did), so he had to leave and then come back again. Both the policies and the customer service were abysmal, not to mention it's more expensive than others. I will not be returning here in the future and I can't recommend it to anybody.

Since my last visit, I was pleased to see that they have opened up the back room of the building. Style Society is a mix of Patina, thrift, home goods and plants all mashed into one spot. This is a great shop for gifts or if you are seeking to swap out furniture or purchase vintage kitchen wear. From refurbished coffee tables to sofas and dressers, there is something for everyone here. There is a plant section, clothes, candles, vintage mugs, trivets, saucepans, etc. If you name it, you can probably find it here. During December, the shop is seasonally decorated with ornaments and various other trinkets. The shop has nice sections to the store broken out by item with good organization - not too overwhelming considering the vast selection. There's usually really nice incense burning when you enter the space or candles. The interior is really clean and the staff is friendly. Most items are priced within reason yet there are a few that can be spendy. Find some items within your budget and you'll love it here. There is ZERO customer service to fix their mistakes. 45+ min hold times to get to outsourced phone reps who say they fixed the problem, but nothing is fixed and you have no ability to fix it yourself.
