Staff was absolutely fabulous; helpful, kind and friendly. While we did not utilize the pool, it looked to be very clean and convenient. Would have given 5 stars, but there is no gym and our room was next to a "staff only" area and the night staff was pretty noisy during our first night. Definitely recommend this place and would stay again.

The room, mattress and amenities were luxurious and the breakfast to send us on our day was delicious, healthy and represented the owners' and staff's high level of care. The entire reason I called was that I had a specific question I wanted to ask, and I could not locate anything on their website that could have answered my question. I contacted another hotel in the vicinity that actually answered my phone call and made me feel valued as a person and as a future guest at their hotel.

Got a couple lattes and a hot chocolate, and the kind barista threw in a capri sun on the house for my kiddo. Prices were fair and we really enjoyed them. We hung out in the game room playing foosball and table tennis, and then walked around a couple of the bridges before heading out. Would definitely come back.

The property is beautiful, peaceful and the groundskeepers are SO nice. We've been twice, both for week long stays. We go to the Metolious once a year for a family reunion. Last year we stayed in Midge. Midge is a one room cabin with a queen sized bed and a pull out couch. We had a full kitchen as well which was handy since we have babies. We bbq'd on our back porch every night and soaked in the peacefulness. We did learn that traveling with children means needing an extra room. This year we stayed in cranefly. We had two rooms and a pull out couch. Again having a full kitchen came in handy. We bring our food in with us. It's a lot easier for us to plan out our meals and know what we'll be cooking. If that's your style as well, all you need to bring is food! All utensils and cookware are in the cabin for you to use. The camp sherman store is a quick walk if you forget anything. We've LOVED staying here! I think my only gripe would be the not so comfortable couch bed. ( i think I'm getting old) We ended up throwing the mattress on the floor and sleeping that way. We will have to find a different place to stay with kid stuff in the next few years. Our babies are still young enough that it won't matter for a few years. There definitely isn't anything for kids to do.

Stayed here for 2 nights during a side trip to Bend. It is just off Highway 97 and a short walk to…read moredowntown. The lobby is nice, the folks manning the front desk were ok, but the ladies that take care of breakfast are the sweetest and nicest ever. They actually have a pretty decent breakfast with quiche and other items you don't usually see at other locations. They are pet friendly with grassy areas around the hotel. Why the low rating, you ask? The main problem was the shower curtain which barely touches the top of the tub. It defeats the purpose of having one unless you want to flood the bathroom floor. It's an accident/lawsuit waiting to happen. I almost slipped getting out of the shower, not realizing that the floor was very wet. Talked to the front desk about it and they said that someone ordered the wrong size so all their bathrooms all have the same shower curtains. They are apparently still waiting for the correct size to be delivered. It was frustrating. My other gripe was, we were originally assigned a 1st floor room facing the highway on the app, so I called and asked if they could give us a high floor room away from the highway. Got to the hotel, lady assured me they have assigned us a room on the 2nd floor, away from the noise. We get into our room and right outside our window was Highway 97. It's been a long day so I did not bother asking for a different room. It was not bad but it still sucks. This is an ok hotel but with the problems we encountered I don't think we will be staying here again.

This place treated us like actual people, not just another room number…read more They kept us on the first floor, accepted our cats without making it a huge issue, and the staff was genuinely kind from the start. Not fake customer service nice actually caring. They wanted to know what was going on with us and treated us with understanding instead of judgment. Our car's transmission ended up blowing in the parking lot while we were there, and that could've made an already stressful situation way worse. Instead, they were patient and understanding, even when we had to extend our stay for extra days. That mattered more than they probably realize. The coffee was good enough that I kept going back for more, which says a lot because hotel coffee is usually terrible. The kitchen setup was great too and made things a lot easier while dealing with everything going on. Overall, just a solid place all around with good people behind it.

However the day we were supposed to leave our cars transmission failed and we were stranded. They were very accommodating to us having to get all our stuff from our car and bring it into the room, very kind to be understanding for the extra nights. My kids kept coming down to talk to the folks up front. My youngest enjoyed cleaning the room. We kept it fairly clean. :) One of the cleaners left a note saying how wonderful my kids were :) Very awesome place. Amazing coffee. Had no problems with me grabbing coffee all the time. Lol I lived off it. Good people. Clean hotel. Reliable. I would definitely stay here if your ever in bend. Always met with smiles and understanding.
