Wanna test drive that Uppababy stroller you've been drooling over for the past few months? Check. They have it. The Babyzen Yoyo? Yup. Maclaren? Check. Baby Jogger? Yes. This is truly your one stop shop for everrrrything. It puts Target's baby section to absolute shame. I also loved how many examples they had out of everything. I saw multiple different Pack n Plays, tons and tons of cribs, and even more gliders. The "downside" to it being so massive and having everything is that it can be overwhelming. They have everything that you'd want/need except I felt that they didn't have an equal number of products for both girls/guys. For example they only had girl car seat covers and none for boys (I was looking for a specific color). I walked by a few employees looking lost, because I was lost lol and no one offered to help. I finally went up front and asked one of the reps for assistance and then she started helping me and in fact she was very helpful the rest of the way. I felt overwhelmed in the store, I guess because I'm not a mom :) but I would imagine it to be a candy store for momma to be! Auntie to be, not so much! Oh, btw... My friend ended up getting a gorgeous pair of vintage jeans that fit her perfectly, and my fellow shorties know the struggle of finding a pair of well-fitting jeans (she's 5'2 and I'm 5'0). I bought a beautiful black and gold cardigan perfect for fall and winter (honestly would wear it now too) and a little sticker. Since the place is a little small, the store attendant told us there were only 4 people in the store at a time so it was easy to snag a dressing room (I believe there were only 2). It was a Saturday afternoon so no one was waiting outside anyways. I appreciated that the store attendant left us alone for the most part so we could browse at our own pace. I had a wholesome conversation with her when I checked out about how we both use receipts and stickers in our planners to remember what we did that day! Will definitely stop by anytime I'm in Fredericksburg!

G&G is a little out of the way for my day-to-day needs, but when I do stop here I feel like I'm supporting local business, and that feels good.

The 2026 Fredericksburg Comic Con was held the weekend of July 11-12, 2026. I procured a ticket online for Saturday admission (July 11). The ticket is then e-mailed to you and you can add to your digital wallet (Apple Wallet or Google Wallet) depending on your choice of smart phone. I arrived about noon - walked up to the registration desk, they scanned my digital ticket, and put a wrist band on me. Lots of cool stuff to check out - comic books galore, all sorts of comic book and other figurines, art work, games, and more! I purchased several sets of D&D dice from "Michi Made Boutique" and met the owner - a very nice lady named Michelle Yarmer-Smith. There is also a row of tables along one wall where one can meet various celebrities and get a photo with them. They had a couple of retired Pro Wrestlers, plus comic book artists and more. Lots of Cosplayers were roaming about - a lot of Marvel, DC, and anime characters! There was also a food area - with food and drinks available for purchase. Overall, a pretty good selection of fun stuff! My one criticism of the event - it was really hot out that day - and the AC inside was not keeping up inside. A couple of the vendors told me it was because the organizers kept the doors open in the area where the vendors would offload and bring in their stuff. I don't know if that is true - but it was really uncomfortable inside - and I would have stayed longer if it were more comfortable inside. #FredericksburgComicCon

First off, the store is bright, clean, and naturally smells amazing. My friend and I were immediately greeted by a friendly staff member. Everything in regard to the entire process, was explained easily. There are a wide range of scents available for every person. The prices were very reasonable, and the experience was great!
