I'm not an outdoor sports person so this set up will work for me when I do decide to finally dink around with my friends.

People here are welcoming, and you can find all levels of players. The location is pretty central too and parking is not hard to find. Overall, I enjoy it here. Now, there are a few things that aren't so great: - The courts are WAYY too tight so don't expect to be able to go for tough balls or go outside to retrieve lobs easily without potentially injuring yourself at the fence. This has happened to me a few times. The ceilings are also too low for lobbing, which to me is a big part of the game. - The bathrooms could be updated and aren't the cleanest. I would expect a paid indoor facility to have higher standards here. That said, I do think it's a much better value than some of the other indoor facilities here. The memberships seem more reasonable and flexible with less commitments. The downside is that at certain hours the place just seems way overbooked with just five courts. That said, I know they have made changes to their open play and they seem to be more controlled in terms of volume.

So this Pickelball Club is a fairly new club in the making. They have people that were founding…read moremembers and then people that are charter members, currently $100 to join. Prices will increase as their building increases. All of the courts are for outdoor play as of now. They have plans to do an indoor Pickleball facility that they said should be done by August. (In my opinion, & based on my knowledge of building, I would say that that would be more like November. Permits are always behind here in Las Vegas, which almost always holds up the build.) I just recently became a member because they have leagues that started here. If you are a member, you can reserve a court three times a week for a total of six hours. You can reserve courts two weeks in advance. You do not have to be a member to join a league, but you will pay $20 extra if you're not a member. So instead of $60, it would be $80 for the 6 week league. They just started their first group of leagues a week ago here. I saw a sign for food that you can order here. I haven't ate anythimg here yet, so I'm not sure how good it is. The lighting on the court is great at night. There are tables and chairs that you can sit at and high wooden beach chairs that you can watch the games from courtside. This facility used to be the old tennis club off of Dean Martin in Las Vegas. It is set back from Dean Martin so look for a black sign that says Pickleball Universe which currently marks a dirt parking lot. It has a tiny light that shines in it at night. Be careful when you pull in. There is a pretty big dip, and two little logs that mark the driveway. They could rip up your car if you don't know they are there. Cones would have been a better idea! They are still working on a chat system for members. So there isn't a way to find people to play open games with you unless you already know they are members. Non-members pay $15 to play, & their pass is good all day (so you could play morning & night). If you haven't checked this facility out yet, you need to!

I shared that I had recently started playing pickleball probably the beginning of November and was interested in upgrading my low-end paddle to a high-quality competitive and great quality one. I also wanted to upgrade my normal tennis/gym shoes to appropriate court shoes to help elevate my game play on the court. He went through the different paddle brands and which are more competitive "the IT paddle" right now, and let my boyfriend and I demo them on their miniature sized indoor pickleball court. He explained the differences in paddle make while I demoed, and promptly found different shoes for me to try on as well. All the time during my boyfriend and him were chatting away about pickleball. It was nice that this location had a seating area for my boyfriend to relax and also for me to sit down to put on the court shoes. There was a water station, and you could also watch pickleball being shown on a TV as well. It was very clean and well kept inside. Also, Griffin was incredibly patient while I tried on probably 6 different pairs of shoes and sizes. BTW, Griffin literally has some of the most top-tier customer service skills my boyfriend and I have ever seen! Wow! I ended up purchasing a Thrive fury elongated paddle and I have been playing with it now for about 1 month and I LOVE IT! Thank you for helping me find the perfect paddle!! My boyfriend bought his paddle from them about a year ago, and it still is holding up well. I particularly love this store because it is a local business that is family owned, full of people who love pickleball and genuinely care.

The event building is 2 stories and you walk up steps to get to the 2nd story, where the event is hosted. Being on the 2nd floor allows patrons to see the lovely golf course. How the space is designed is one floor, very wide, and more on the narrow side. The bar is on the far left and then we had the pasta station on the far right, with high tops and tables, and the stage in the middle. Outdoors we also had some tables which was perfect as the weather was a calm day in the 70's. Clean, organized venue, in a guard gated luxury community, only minutes from 215 and the SW or Summerlin. It was like full sized Ping Pong and was just not for me. I knew a bit about Padel tennis and was surprised there's a court complex in Summerlin called P1. I signed up for the complimentary "Try Padel" clinic. P1 is a private club. It's a nice facility without being too bougie. A lounge area and a good snack/coffee shack. Massi is our master professional and walked us through the ins and outs. A brief video on rules and scoring, then on to the court. Basic stroke drills with instruction and acutely a one set game! We retired to the club lounge for coffee and pastries! It was fun, humbling, and a decent workout. The club staff are so very welcoming The membership has great incentives to join. And they have social activities too! I'm all in!

I had been to G.O.A.T.'s other location but decided when I placed my order for pickup to select their other location. I wanted to see what it looked like and what stuff they had! My boyfriend had also not been to this location. When we arrived, we noticed this location was also clean with beautiful display organization and design. It is the smaller of the two locations but just as awesome. The owner, Evan, was there. He was friendly, cheerful, and welcoming. My boyfriend and him chatted a lot about different bag models and types. He explained how he uses the bags and paddles he sells and how his wife and him make sure the employees also have used the different paddles so that they know the differences between each and can best help their customers. This is awesome!! I ended up getting a pickleball keychain, clear protective edge guard tape for my paddle, and some paddle cleaning spray. Since purchase I have used all of these 3 and I am happy with how they are holding up and perform. The cleaning spray really makes a difference! I am also very happy with my SUPER CUTE CRBN bag. :-) It has a detachable smaller paddle cross body bag, shoe compartment, all paddle spots are insulated, insulated top part for balls and/or snacks, and a bunch of other cool zippered sections. PS - I wanted to note that my boyfriend and I showed up the day after Christmas. Evan said while he was working in this location that his wife was working at their other location that day and that their employees all got the day after Christmas off. Wow!! Couple days ago I needed to buy another paddle for a client of mine for his birthday, but they ran out of stock on the particular one.
