SUPER FUN PLACE!!! This place is so cool looking!! When you think of chicken and pickle, you're not thinking Pickleball at all, but this is exactly what it is --chicken of every kind from fried chicken to grilled chicken to chicken sandwiches chicken skewers, chicken tenders, chicken nuggets, chicken wings, along with some really great other food, healthy food very clean eating here fresh salads,, avocados, accompanying just about every dish to name a few... also a really fun dessert menu very enticing!! Then you have such a super friendly staff from the moment you walk in the restaurant to order at the counter there is a warm welcome from a team member, such as Hayden, putting in your order and putting every detail in there such as mine that was of course kind of due to allergies. He made sure to accommodate me. The kitchen was fantastic with that. Then after you place your order, you can go sit just about anywhere and your food is served to you. I'm talking grab a seat at the Pickleball courts or go upstairs to a super groovy looking lounge with table games not casino games but Jenga and Domino's and card games that will bring back nostalgic memories from your childhood or college years. There are multiple full bars there also for those 21 and up the atmosphere is really nice. I went on a weeknight just for food and gathering. It was very relaxing in there not too busy. Outside the courts were full, but inside was ice cold air-conditioning and plenty of room to move around and enjoy. There's even a dog park and I heard they have great entertainment events, and pickleball leagues all listed on their website. I absolutely love this concept of bringing together people to gather in a space that's wide open adding some games and sports and great good healthy food! Food: they have bar food, beers and drinks. They also have a breakfast menu before 10am. Service: while you signed up for your pickleball session they do have servers that come to your court and bring you food vs going to the counter. Even if you're not playing they have an inside to eat and drink. Ambiance: they have about five courts indoor. I think they have 7-8 courts outdoor with shade. Sometimes playing in the park is way too hot so coming here is much better. They have tvs everywhere from inside to outside. Parking is pretty decent size. read more

Restaurant Review. I will give this place a star. My wife and I recently visited Chicken N Pickle on St. Rose Pkwy in Henderson, and our experience fell well below acceptable standards. Because this restaurant keeps an open tab with your credit card until you close out, accuracy and transparency should be a priority. Unfortunately, that was not the case. When our waiter, Sebastian, brought our receipt, he mentioned that "someone else closed you out." Upon reviewing the bill, we immediately noticed an extra $8 charge for an item we never ordered. We also saw that a 25% tip had already been added without our approval. Sebastian removed the incorrect food charge, but he left the unauthorized 25% tip, even though the restaurant's policy only applies a 20% automatic gratuity for groups, not for two people. The tip amount should have been left for us to decide. We later learned that Travis, the waiter who closed out our tab, had charged us for another customer's order. My wife ended up paying for someone else's meal. Sebastian was aware of the situation but chose not to disclose it, and the incorrect 25% tip remained on the receipt. When we brought this to the manager, Tristin, his explanation was that "maybe Travis thought your name was similar to the other customer's." My name is not a common name, and there is no reasonable way it could have been confused with someone else's. I advised him to address this issue with his staff to prevent similar incidents. Despite the dishonesty and intentional actions, my wife still gave Sebastian $20 at the end. We remained respectful, but the situation itself was unacceptable. The food also did not meet expectations. It was overly salty, and nothing stood out in terms of quality or flavor. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant. If you visit for pickleball and need food afterward, In‑N‑Out Burger next door is a far better option -- fresh, affordable, and reliable. I've seen this place for about 2 years since we moved to Las Vegas. And we thought why not go and give it a chance? I don't play pickleball but I do like chicken. So we had to go. This place is huge! It's almost like an athletic compound with a bar and restaurant. Definitely lots of people playing pickleball when we arrive, one thing you'll notice is a great outdoor area for hanging out after your pickleball game. Inside has an ultra lounge kind of vibe to it. I loved how neat and clean it was. Although the directions for finding things could be a little bit better, we actually had to ask someone where the restaurant was. But when we finally got there it was game on. All the food was very tasty, the chicken sandwich was not as hot as I would have preferred, but let me tell you about those tater tots. They were crunchy and flavorful and just perfect. If you play pickleball, this is definitely a place you want to go. They also have air-conditioned indoor courts, that would be my preferred preference. But the outdoor courts also had fans and misters so they were able to keep it at a definitely pleasant temperature. Bottom line? If I was a pickleball player and hankering for some chicken this would be the place I would go. Had a great experience at Chicken N Pickle. The pickleball courts are well maintained, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and the food is surprisingly good. Both the indoor and outdoor areas are clean, spacious, and create a fun atmosphere whether you're there to play or just hang out. The only issue I noticed is with the outdoor courts, especially Courts 1-5. During the evening, the setting sun shines directly into the courts, making it very difficult to see the ball and affecting gameplay. It would be great if the facility could add shade structures or another solution to reduce the glare during sunset. My co-workers and I met up for Happy Hour at Chicken N Pickle. We shared an assortment of appetizers, including smoked wings, quesadillas and fries. My friend & I were meeting for HH so we decided to come here since we hadn't been here before. We took seats @ the bar & was greeted by Paula right away & given menus. My friend went with the HH Margarita & I grabbed a High Noon. Paula explained their payment system here...she took a CC from each of us & had told us if we went to any of the other bars our CC would be on file & we could just add onto it. We weren't planning on going anywhere but home after we ate so we didn't get to try this system out fully. We each ordered the chicken fingers which were really good!! The chicken was fresh, moist & the breading was thin. I got the sweet potato fries which were delicious! I had seen the tater tots after I placed my order....I'm a big fan of tarot tots! I'm not a fan of the dipping sauce selections as I just wanted a normal honey mustard or sweet & sour. I went with the honey mustard (was a little spicy) & BBQ. The drinks & food came out fast but my friend got her food before I got mine....weird?? I saved my coleslaw for last that they serve it in a metal cup. I picked it up off the bar to eat it & found a hair on the bottom of it. I had asked one of the bartenders "can I get another coleslaw that doesn't have hair on it please?" lol She took it away immediately & a new one, hair free came out. Paula heard about it & was mortified & apologized for it. She had told us how they're really strict about kitchen staff wearing hair nets, etc. I told her that it could have been on the bar or on the serving tray??? No biggie as it wasn't in my food nor did I find it in my mouth....I'm definitely not a fan of the coleslaw as it tasted yucky! It wasn't creamy & just tasted like vinegar. Paula had told us "I took care of your stuff for you both" after the coleslaw incident which I thought was really nice that she did my friend's too even though she didn't have any hair on her dishes & Paula told us it was fine how horrified she was of the hair on mine, of course we thanked her for this gesture that she didn't have to do. My friend ended up getting a 2nd Margarita but I wasn't ready for a 2nd High Noon. My friend & I continued to catch up & it was getting closer to 6pm when HH was going to be over & was hoping Paula was gonna come back by as I wanted to order another drink but it was exactly 6pm when she came over & told me it was too late. When the time came for us to leave I asked for the bills (for our drinks) & she told me "I had told you guys that I took care of everything" and I had said "even our drinks?" & she said "yes." I told her that she didn't need to do that but THANK YOU!! My friend & I walked thru the rest of the main building over to check the function rooms out, indoor & outdoor courts. It was nice to see that they have a dog area, seating & outdoor games. Get out there now before it hits over 100 degrees.....lol PROBLEM: A couple days later my friend texted me telling me that she had 2 pending charges on her CC for chicken fingers from this place....very weird since we each gave her a CC for separate checks. I know pending doesn't mean its been charged but my friend was headed out of the Country for a couple of weeks so I haven't heard back from her on this. So that got me curious & I thought "I should check my CC too!" So I found a charge that wasn't pending for $9.22....I have NO idea for what? Their chicken fingers cost more than that & my High Noon cost less that that. Soooooooo what happened to having our bills taken care of?? We both left cash tips for Paula based on the price of our meals & drinks so it shouldn't have been a tip. So I called the business over the weekend & spoke to staff because when I asked to talk to a manager they wanted to know what it was in ref. too?? I talked with a Kyle who told me he would relay the message to a manager but transferred me to the manager & told me if there was no answer to leave a detailed message, which I had too because no one answered..............well guess what?? This place is huge! One friend recommended us to meet here as a casual late afternoon meet up. First time for a few of us. We did not play pickle ball as they had a restaurant and bar area that's inside and is perfect for us as it's crazy hot even at 5pm. After parking, you walk in and on the left side are a bunch of pickle ball courts plus some tables/benches where ppl can meet. There were misters overhead for those sitting right outside of the courts. On the right side, huge area for you to meet, hang out with lots of seatings. You can be inside or outside, whatever you like. All totally very casual and very family friendly. Food menu is also very casual food like burgers, wings, tacos type. Bar has a variety, especially beer, to order. I would come back to have casual afternoon or evening meet up with friends and family. read more

This place is bigger than I thought. I love that they have happy hour prices, not just on food but on courts as well. They have both indoor and outdoor courts. It does get busy, so reservations are highly recommended. They also have plenty of TVs to catch any game. The staff is great and attentive. Took the family to Chicken N Pickle and booked an indoor court on a Thursday around 5. Aside from the pickleball folks on the court, it was pretty dead. Check-in was smooth, but once we got on the court, we were on our own. Nobody came by for drinks or food, even though the group in front of us somehow had beverages like they unlocked a secret level. I would've got a drink or two ... We played for an hour ($40). The indoor court area was pretty clean. Since nobody came around during our play, we ended up going to the restaurant side. I tried the slider samples - food wasn't bad, but it wasn't "text your mom about it" good either. Service is very do-it-yourself ... order at the counter, grab your own drinks, and flag someone down when you're ready to leave for your check. I wanted to tip myself after ... I didn't realize that they had an app for rewards, and I came in to redeem a couple of things. I went with their burger with sweet potato fries and the shareable fries. Potion sizes are actually pretty generous and they have a main ordering area with a bar and everything. I've only ordered togo here and never actually dined in, but they give you a number and tracker in order to find you. The to go orders are always made fairly quickly. Upstairs, downstairs and patio dining and you can dine at your court! Even though just me and my husband went I appreciate that this place was family friendly. We came in on a Monday night. Our friend was playing in the league so we met up for dinner. I thought that the service was awesome, but that is also because we were pretty much the only ones in there. It was quiet and the staff was being themselves and laughing, honestly it was great. I happened to be in St Rose pkwy and stopped by for brunch date w/my husband. We've wanted to tryout the place for awhile and finally had chance to checkout the place. When you enter there's big connect four, ping pong table and few more games you can play outside. My NKC Hot Chicken Sandwich had two big fried chicken w/ coleslaw and spicy sauce and sweet potatoe fries as my side. I liked fried pickle and my husband enjoyed his Chicken N Waffles. I think it's great place to dine w/fam and play a little games. Very family-friendly restaurant w/great atmosphere and great lighting. I had great time playing ping pong outside. I got the hang of it after few minutes of practicing. The day we went happened to be windy so it was more of chasing after ball than actually playing. Would be nice to come at night time and dine at the secondnd floor patio if they have any lighting. If you're not into playing anything there's largebseating area so you can just seat and soak up some sun. FYI. If your into pickle ball they have indoor area across from the restaurant. Sebastian was wonderful as he went over the menu with us as this was our first visit. He gave amazing recommendations and our meal was delicious!! Brennan went above and beyond and got us our utensils (first time so we didnt know were to get them) and was genuinely helpful. Cassie was so friendly and attentive!! Every member of staff we encountered seemed genuinely happy to be here which shows that the culture and leadership team are positive. Went there on my birthday. It was easy to reserve a court online. Check-in was fast. While we waited we went inside the air conditioned food and beverage area. Lots of room and TVs to watch sports. Food was great. While outside we played for approx. 1.5 hours, then when all that was done we went to the second floor to watch the UFC fight. Overall great experience. Great place for family gatherings. We went today and it was lots of fun. We were not able to reserve long times at the court but was able to get two 30 mins slots. Game was short but sweet. It was definitely great for family bonding. They also had other games you can play like the tossing game and Jenga. They both have covered courts inside and outside. They have a bar for adults and playground for the kiddos. They also have a dog park - I need to check that out next time. The food was GOOD! They don't call it chicken and pickle for nothing. WOW, WOW, WOW!!!! Did I say WOW! What an AMAZING experience and FUN time. We went for the Sunday all you can eat brunch which was $26 for adults. The food was good, I tried a little bit of everything. The best items were the pastries. My nephew stated that the buffet reminded him of one you would get at a hotel (breakfast buffets). Although it was not as an extravagant buffet as many of the high end hotels, you can still be filled and satisfied with the items presented. The service was good. They were friendly but nothing really stood out as far as customer service. The ambiance was the BEST thing about this place. We met my in laws, my daughter's family (with her toddlers), and my brother's family there. There was plenty to do and a lot of space to explore. My grandkids who are 2 and 1 enjoyed walking around, playing with the giant connect four and battleship. They played with other kids their age and were worn out by the time we left. Although there were plenty of pickle ball courts open, we decided to just sit and relax and enjoy the weather and time together. We would definitely go back especially when the weather is nice. Played here last Thursday evening and Saturday afternoon. Thursday was a great experience. Staff were very friendly and attentive. We had a great time. But Saturday at noon we were waiting by court one with TWO minutes to spare and we were told to wait somewhere else. We were at any empty table and I said it didn't make sense to find somewhere else to wait because we would just have to turn around and come back. He said how would you feel if it was the other way around and I said I would know they were up next and no big deal. By now two minutes passed and we just went to our court, When we were playing and as our time came to an end a couple came and sat at our table and they were not asked to move. When our time was up we were gathering our items at the table and was asked to pick up our stuff and vacate. It was obvious that was what we were doing and those next were already on the court. They did what we did and stored their bags in the court to keep it close and safe, I played at many different courts and never experienced harassment like I did on my second visit. Who would go to a sports venue for a Sunday brunch??? Well - give me a BOGO coupon and I will. Expectations were pretty low. Boy was I wrong! Check in at the front desk. $26 for the buffet (two buffets with the coupon). We were directed to the back room where the buffet is set up. Lots of quality choices. Shrimp cocktail, fruit parfait, bagel lox and cream cheese (and the lox was very fresh and tasty), eggs and egg hash, bacon strips, breakfast burrito, waffle bar, fried chicken nuggets, and made to order omelets. Chicken N Pickle is the place for food and for pickleball fun. The last time I was in Henderson (around April), I saw this place and knew I had to visit the next time we are in town. Fast forward to a few Sundays ago... My husband, our little girl dog, my cousin and I came for a visit. My cousin, who is a local, had already been here with his wife when they first opened and liked the food he had the first time. Anyways, we arrived on a Sunday evening, around 6 pm. Then we headed towards the register. After looking over the menu, we ended up ordering: Bill's Chicken Salad, $12.99 prior to tax- My husband decided to get a salad and opted for this one. This salad came with 6 large pieces of fried chicken breast (or like chicken tenders) that is served over a large bed of mixed greens and a nice serving of avocado slices. I didn't have any but my husband enjoyed his salad. Power Bowl, $11.99 prior to tax- I decided to get this meal and really liked it. This meal came with quinoa, kale, ancient grains, butternut squash and slices of avocado. The bowl was pretty filling and I liked the dressing that was used. Chili Cheese Dog with Tasty Tots, $10.99 prior to tax- My cousin decided to order this. Initially he liked it but after awhile, didn't because of the toasted bread that the chili dog was in. He said it was hard and cold and so he just ate the hot dog and chili and didn't eat the rest of the bread and also didn't end up finishing the tarter tots because they were also getting cold. Pink Lemonade, $3.50 prior to tax Fountain drink, $3.50 prior to tax ---------------------------------------- (Total= $46.57 after tax, prior to tip) After we ordered, we were given a number to put on our table. The number has a tracker on it, so an employee can easily find wherever you choose to sit. Because we were visiting with our little girl, we sat outside. There is a small gated dog area right outside of the restaurant. There was also a large communal table but unfortunately the door to go inside the restaurant from there was not open so we decided not to sit there. Wait time for our food wasn't that long, maybe about 10 minutes for all of our food to be brought out by 2 servers. With Chicken N Pickle, it is really cool that there are both outdoor and indoor courts and are plentiful. But to reserve a court is rather expensive. It cost $20 per hour Monday through Saturday from 7am - 5pm. Then after 5 pm, it cost $40 per hour. On weekends, it cost $40 per hour. On our visit, I was surprised to see that most of the courts (both inside and out) were taken with people playing (I guess if you split the cost with friends, it may be more affordable but I think it would be pretty costly for my husband and I to play for an hour or two). If I lived here, I would definitely be a regular for their food and for the bar. But would probably look somewhere else to play pickleball. read more
