Great courts to play on for all day play. They do have a monthly membership but also day passes as well. It's $10 with a member and $15 without. My friend is a member so we were happy we were able to pay $10 as her guest. The courts are well maintained and they have challenge courts as well. The parking lot is dirt so just be careful if your car is low. Overall, a fun experience and would definitely come back to play. I might want to join their membership soon! read more

So this Pickelball Club is a fairly new club in the making. They have people that were founding members and then people that are charter members, currently $100 to join. Prices will increase as their building increases. All of the courts are for outdoor play as of now. They have plans to do an indoor Pickleball facility that they said should be done by August. (In my opinion, & based on my knowledge of building, I would say that that would be more like November. Permits are always behind here in Las Vegas, which almost always holds up the build.) I just recently became a member because they have leagues that started here. If you are a member, you can reserve a court three times a week for a total of six hours. You can reserve courts two weeks in advance. You do not have to be a member to join a league, but you will pay $20 extra if you're not a member. So instead of $60, it would be $80 for the 6 week league. They just started their first group of leagues a week ago here. I saw a sign for food that you can order here. I haven't ate anythimg here yet, so I'm not sure how good it is. The lighting on the court is great at night. There are tables and chairs that you can sit at and high wooden beach chairs that you can watch the games from courtside. This facility used to be the old tennis club off of Dean Martin in Las Vegas. It is set back from Dean Martin so look for a black sign that says Pickleball Universe which currently marks a dirt parking lot. It has a tiny light that shines in it at night. Be careful when you pull in. There is a pretty big dip, and two little logs that mark the driveway. They could rip up your car if you don't know they are there. Cones would have been a better idea! They are still working on a chat system for members. So there isn't a way to find people to play open games with you unless you already know they are members. I love the space at Pickle Universe. The facility is welcoming, spacious, and just a really fun place to spend time playing pickleball. One thing I really appreciate is that they offer snacks for members, which is such a nice touch when you're hanging out between games. They also have an outdoor gym, which makes the whole space feel even more unique and great for anyone who enjoys staying active. A Fantastic New Spot for Pickleball! This new pickleball facility is an absolute gem. There are currently 16 well-maintained outdoor courts, and excitingly, 16 indoor courts are under construction and expected to open by the end of next year, making it a true year round destination. Reservations are easily managed through the Court Reserve app. Membership options are very reasonable for everything that's offered. The Founders Rate is just $75 per month, and the Charter Membership is $100 per month. Both give you access to a growing list of features and events. The facility is set to host USTA leagues, charity tournaments, and will offer lessons for players of all levels. Whether you're just getting started or looking to elevate your game, there's something here for everyone. On site amenities really make this place stand out. There's a bar, clean restrooms, a pool, shaded hangout areas, and a convenient water refill station near the bathrooms. There are 2 championship courts. I'm especially excited for fall. James, the owner, was super nice! Accidentally stumbled upon this place cause sunset park was closed for competition & im so glad we did. It's well kept, super clean, and they had balls and paddles for rent. Me and the girls had so much fun! And the price is per person for 2 hours. Love doing this, and will definitely come back again! The Pickleball Universe is a second rate business run by unprofessional people who are simply looking to cash in on the pickleball gold rush while they can. The list of complaints is long and their management is not capable of responding in any professional capacity. The most recent issue has been TPU advertising on various social media posts that they were offering a competitive winter league with DUPR recorded games. The DUPR rated games were the main selling point in the title of every post as they advertised locally. When the end of registration neared and they realized they did not have enough players registered to play a full league so they pulled a bait and switch and changed the league to no longer include DUPR recorded games. They attempted to salvage a low turn out event into a noncompetitive event in order to save themselves from having to cancel and refund fees paid by registrants. Unsurprisingly, the customers who signed up under the promise of a competitive DUPR pickleball league requested refunds. TPU responded by ignoring the requests, and then gaslighting the customers that the league was never meant to be competitive and was supposed to be a warm up event for the Spring league ignoring the fact they plastered local social media with ads promising competitive DUPR games in the headline. It has been three days and many customers requests are still unanswered and we think it is because the registration deadline is Jan 3 (days away), and they're hoping to deny refunds on that date coming up. Various teams requested refunds due to the bait and switch and TPU responded with rude, passive aggressive messages. The responses from TPU manager James was passive aggressive and an emotional response. TPU had since decided to revert the event back to a DUPR rated event after all the requests for refunds hoping to hold on to what little fees remaining. What happened to telling people it was never meant to be DUPR rated? There are so many other red flags at TPU you should know about. The main business is a wedding events venue. If there are weddings booked, there is no pickleball. And considering weddings are their primary business, there are a lot of weddings there are lots of blackouts. The pickleball courts were painted on what is probably at least 50+ year old concrete slabs that are well past good condition. Many of the courts are noticeably slanted and have low spots. The courts feel crammed into the existing tennis court concrete. The lighting at night is very poor with the regulars cherry picking the best lit courts leaving the dark courts for those who don't know better. The courts are surrounded by high and locked fencing making it a chore to retrieve balls that are deflected over the fences. That is if you're lucky that the balls didn't land inside the many trees on the fence line. If it did, consider your ball lost because it's 10 to 20 feet up in the trees. You're playing in the blazing hot sun during the warm months, which there are many here in Vegas, and you're getting lobbed staring into the sun during the cooler months. The player population is extremely low. There simply aren't enough players to maintain a healthy rotation in open play. Unless you want to play with the same people game after game, if there are even people to fill an open play court at all. This is a bring your own friends place. If you don't bring your own foursome or already know people there you will be hard pressed to find a game because everyone else is there with their crews playing private games. There are no programs that encourage sign up and play games. If you have to bring your own friends then what is the difference just bringing your own crew to the park? The staff here are not helpful. They expect you to know the unspoken rules of pickleball for yourself. There's no enforcement of code of conduct of any time as we personally witnessed yelling and screaming and bullying on the courts. This place is not a business, it is a clique and a cash grab. TPU doesn't care because pickleball isn't their bread and butter. There have been more courts opening in the city this year and a 20+ court complex coming this year. Two more indoor clubs are opening by spring this year. TPU keeps talking about building an indoor club on the property (selling memberships on a promise) but there is no way they remain successful enough to build it and who would want to play there the way they run things anyway? read more

I've been a long-time member at TPU, but today was my final straw. The overall experience has steadily declined. Several courts are uneven, and a few are nearly unplayable at night due to poor lighting. What's most frustrating is that water isn't even provided, something you'd expect when paying around $100 for a membership. Leagues and lessons are not included in the membership unlike Picklr. Today, I joined a challenge court and was treated disrespectfully by another member throughout the game. When I raised it with the club owner, it felt dismissed and the member was allowed to continue playing. That response was disappointing, especially after I've brought hundreds of people to TPU through events and encouraged multiple friends to join. To have concerns brushed off like that says a lot. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend TPU. read more

I tried pickleball with coworkers a month ago, and ever since I caught the bug. I checked out all the different clubs locally, meet up groups and even lessons through the city etc. I'm very new to the sport but the beginner clinics offered here with Mepa are Beyond Amazing. Super affordable, super patient, and one of the best deals in town if you want to learn correctly. Mepa let me test out one of his paddles and now I have my own based on his recommendation. After trying and failing to play at my local park, I decided to join here so I can always have a place to play. If you're into well maintained facilities, well lit courts, fun music pumping you up, healthy snack bar, the best food trucks in the evening and all round amazing vibes and inclusive vibes... you will not find better. I joined for the vibes and found my pickleball home. They will be breaking ground on internal courts and permits have been pulled. I'm a proud charter member, and have locked in the current rate which goes up on Feb 6th. I live 5 minutes from Picklr and did not feel the fun and camaraderie that TPU offers to all who visit. Don't sleep on this gem! So happy to be a part of one of the most welcoming private clubs in Vegas. read more

This pickleball ball facility is not worth the membership! Do not sign up! Being that their main priority of business is weddings, their whole October wknds are mostly blocked out on thier schedule making it difficult to play on the wknds. On thier website it also is misleading because its mentioed "From time to time" they have special occasions or events. But it looks like its ALL the time. Parking is horrible and if you lose a ball its on the street for someone to grab, and access is far to retrieve the ball. It being in a residential area earliest to play is at 7am which is already too hot in the summer time. Just play at sunset or any public park save your money. Lighting at facility is bad you will lose the ball, surrounding walls on some courts are low, and gate access to some courts you will interrupt a game...There are more better options to be outdoor and its free, or if you wanted to pay to be outdoors go to the plaza hotel. Still waiting for the "promise" of an indoor? Just go to VIP or Picklr. The only positives, is there will always be empty courts to play on except the weekends . read more
