This is disgusting that any OWNER would do this to a child. So think twice about coming here. I recently played a game at this facility and was very concerned about safety. The opposing team,…read moredespite being well ahead, played aggressively: shoving, yelling, and purposely fouling players. Several players weren't wearing shin guards, despite posted rules. A female player was hit hard in the head. She was visibly wobbly and holding her head, and although she said she was "OK," proper concussion protocol requires that any player with a head injury come out immediately. The game continued with no intervention, which was unsafe and unacceptable. I didn't have fun and regret spending my time here. I felt unsafe and unwelcome, and I will not be returning. Recreational sports should prioritize safety, enforce equipment rules, and ensure referees stop play when injuries occur.

The last time I came here was over 10 years ago and it is completely revamped. Karyn and Kim were super helpful in getting me started on how the membership works and allowing me to walk around to check out the space before deciding to sign up for the membership. Luckily I'm a resident of Westminster and was able to sign up with a resident discount. The 25 yard lap pool is nice and clean, there is a small diving area and a play pool. The locker rooms are clean and you can rent a locker for free with a collateral like a car key or ID in exchange for a key to a random locker. The showers are equipped with liquid soap, and the bathrooms are clean. We tried the steam room, didn't get a chance to do the hot tub and the sauna yet but those all looked great too. You can get a punch card at a discount if you're not sure membership is the way to go to try them out. There is a small gym area for weights and cardio machines. They offer classes too so check them out online through the Westminster Activities Book. Really glad that we joined the membership - we now have access to all the Westminster Rec Centers. Super reasonable and it goes back to the city and our community.

They have kiddy pool as well and they do have outdoor pool for when it is nice. Stop by and check it out sometime. They do have a lot of other events that go on . As a youth athletic organization, it is the gyms responsibility and expectation to provide an…read moreenvironment that supports and protects their athletes. Prior to the abrupt decision to fire an amazing coach mid- season, 2 weeks before state, my son would come home saying the owners are so mean to the boys. Boys would get in trouble for eating and wearing shoes in the gym while the girls would not get in trouble. The girls would steal mats without asking and run across the vault runway while they were training, to name a few. But, somehow the boys were always at fault. The coaches produced the best boys team in the state over the last couple years and they were never recognized. My son says the trophies and banners they won were put in a corner to collect dust And not showcased. Following the dismissal of the boys head coach and the loss of the other who didn't agree, the high level athletes were not given a safe transition to train there nor did they participate in finding a safe alternative elsewhere. This has forced some to quit and others scrambling to find a place to train til the end of season at the least. The owners did not want to discuss what had happened nor did they apologize for the emotional harm they have caused to my child and our family nor the 20+ others that trusted the gym to advocate for the kids. i have never interacted with the owners for our short time there. I was rarely spectating either. However when i went to pick up my son's belongings, I was being harassed for trespassing and that they were going to call the cops. All I wanted was what belonged to my son, but they threw what was in my Sons locker and all the others boys belongings in a box. It's pretty difficult to distinguish who's was what. Frustrated I left with nothing, worried I'd be accused of stealing Or worse. I would avoid this gym at all cost. It is a dangerous place for a high risk sport Without the appropriate skilled coaching required, no exceptions. There are so many other options in the area!!! Safety and Professionalism comes 1st, our kids deserve it!

We have been traveling for years during the winter to The Oasis. It has always been a pleasure, and…read morethe staff has consistently demonstrated professionalism. However, we recently learned a valuable lesson regarding their protocol on outside drinks. We coordinated a group to take a day off work and spend the afternoon at their facility. To make it worthwhile, we needed another player and managed to solidify a last-minute invite. The court was rented for 3 hours, and about 1.5 hours in, the extra invite pulled a drink out of his bag right in front of the staff. He was confronted and agreed to leave without any resistance, acknowledging that his actions were uncalled for. To me, it seemed like the situation was resolved as our group began organizing the next match. However, moments later, the staff decided to escalate the issue, stating that since the player who violated the facility rules was on our court, everyone in our group had to leave the premises. The staff member also blamed us for not policing our invitees according to their rules and regulations. No one in our group knew the player had the drink until he pulled it out, yet we were all penalized, and the rental cost for the court was kept. The only reason I am leaving this post is to make others aware of The Oasis's protocol for such situations. If you invite anyone to play on the court you rented, you will be held personally responsible for their actions against The Oasis's rules and regulations.

I had a very disappointing experience at the D-Bat in Lafayette…read more I reserved and paid for a batting cage several hours in advance. When I arrived early to check in, I was assigned a cage number. However, when I went to the cage, it was still occupied by two boys. I returned to the front desk and was told that I could use the cage once my reservation time began. At exactly 5:00 p.m., I informed the boys that I had reserved the cage for that time. Instead of leaving, they argued that they didn't know their time was up and refused to leave until a D-Bat employee told them to. It should never have been my responsibility to enforce my own reservation. When an employee finally came over, she didn't immediately ask them to leave. Instead, she asked what was going on, and the boys continued making excuses, saying they forgot to check their phone and no one had warned them that their session was ending. Rather than ending the conversation and having them vacate the cage, the discussion continued while my paid reservation time was ticking away. What was most frustrating was how the situation was handled. The employee repeatedly checked to make sure the boys were okay, but never once acknowledged the inconvenience to me or apologized for the delay. As the paying customer whose reservation was being interrupted, I deserved more. After the boys finally left, I asked if my reservation could be extended so I would receive the full hour that I had paid for. I was told no because it would interfere with the next reservation. While I understand they needed to stay on schedule, the fact remains that I did not receive the full hour I purchased because D-Bat failed to ensure the previous customers left on time. The staff at the front desk also appeared uninterested in resolving the issue or making it right. There was no concern for the poor customer experience. In the end, my daughter lost part of the batting time I had paid for because another group refused to leave and the staff failed to enforce the reservation schedule. Good customer service means taking ownership when something goes wrong and making a reasonable effort to resolve it. Unfortunately, that did not happen here. I don't expect perfection, but I do expect a business to honor the service I paid for and treat customers fairly. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this location.

I found out between Christmas and New Years that I needed to cancel my toddler's class. Cats is closed during this period, so I called and left a message. I called again when the gym reopened and explained my situation. Although the next session started the day that the gym reopened, and they do not allow cancellations within 2 weeks of the session start, they agreed to make an exception given the circumstances as long as I filed my cancellation form that day. I did that. In Feb they charged me for the entire month anyway. I called to point out the mistake, and they agreed that I had been charged in error, but refused to refund the money. Again, I'm not worried about the mistake - I've been a small business owner and understand that things slip through the cracks sometimes. It's the fact that they won't correct an easily correctable mistake that's unacceptable. I'd recommend taking your business to the more honest and reputable options in the area.

I came to this place last week with a bunch of snowboarding friends to practice our backflips, etc…read more for the upcoming season. They broke us up into 3 different groups and had us practicing in different areas: backflips, frontflips and backflips in a harness. The staff as a whole is very attentive although most of our group had a hard time understanding gymnastic "speak" but that is of no fault to the staff. We did have a great time and I believe the lot of us will be returning this week for some more training!
