I came here for breakfast after reading great reviews on Yelp, and I wasn't disappointed. The restaurant was clean and airy, with soft jazz music in the background: the set-up was comfortable and inviting. We were greeted immediately by several of the staff, and seated quickly. I ordered the Florentine Benedict without the bacon. The coffee was good and my cup was refilled several times without having to flag anyone down (thanks!). The meal was FANTASTIC. I'll admit I'm a bit of a hollandaise snob, and this might have been the best I've ever had. A woman who seemed to be the manager or owner came over during the meal and said she'd noticed I'd ordered my meal without meat. She asked if I was vegetarian and then gave great veggie-friendly suggestions from their lunch menu for my next visit. I've been vegetarian for 20+ years due to food allergies. When a restaurant makes a point to make my vegetarianism welcome, it speaks words about the establishment as a whole. Breakfast is one of those simple meals that honestly I don't care to go out and eat but my hubby decided to take me out for my birthday. I ordered the special of the day which happened to be pancakes but coconut flavored "yikes". I prefer my traditional pancakes but I said what the heck, it's my birthday. I was impressed with the flavors and got to experience my "Oh, my goodness, this is yummy!" Moment. If you're visiting Fallon I totally recommend this place for breakfast as the experience will be delicious. If you want cheap then go to McDonald's and you'll still get pancakes but not as delicious as these. read more

Not real impressed. First off when I got my food the toast had brush brissles that they use for the butter. When I said something about it the waitress said oh I forgot to check it! If I could give them less than 1 Star I would. They have had complete disregard for public safety during the pandemic. They have never required employees to wear masks, did not require social distancing once Nevada was allowed to go into phase 2, and are now complaining about our governor requiring masks. Not to mention their food is sub-par. The salads are always overdressed, the sandwiches are bland and the service is so slow. Needless to say they have lost my business. read more

What a pleasant, delightful atmosphere...with delicious food and kindly service! We had lunch here on Veterans Day, and shared a couple of dishes: the "everything quiche" and the ham-apple sandwich. Both were exceptional, fresh and in plentiful portions. The quiche was hearty and chock full of ingredients, and the ham-apple sandwich was a fine mix of flavors: smoky, savory, sweet and tart. Although the place was hopping that day, the atmosphere was quite nice. Our server was friendly, welcoming and cheerful. She helped us with the menu, and our order came promptly. The interior is lovely and traditional, and one could spend an afternoon relaxing there with great food, a hot drink, and yummy baked goods. We look forward to returning! read more

Went on a Saturday for lunch and it was VERY busy! Lots of large sports team like tables. Very loud and hectic. The 2 of us could not hold a conversation at a tiny table. We had to yell. It was awful. Had to wait like 20 minutes to get in to the restroom. Service was VERY slow, awkward, inattentive and unorganized. One the food FINALLY came though it was amazing!! I had a simple Cheese Burger and Salad. The burger was thick, juicy, seasoned perfectly and on a fresh delicious bun. I am critical on burgers and this one was spot on! Excellent! Don't listen to the review about them being racist. As an Indian woman myself, it was by far one of the best food/ service experiences I've had. Amazing restaurant! I had the black and blue burger with pasta salad. I believe the meat is local, the bun was homemade (absolutely delicious, and so soft), and the blue cheese was creamy. The pasta salad was full of flavors and beautiful to look at. I didn't have room for dessert, but I took a piece of our home. Key lime pie. The crust was soaked in love and the following absolutely mouthwatering. I can't wait to go again and try something different. read more

Busy early lunch for a Saturday during our visit but we were able to sit at the counter without a wait....so we thought. It took some time for our server to get to us, but the owner was quite attentive and got our drinks while we waited. The food was pretty good (we ordered burgers) and you could taste the freshness. Based on the menu they don't have fryers in the kitchen. Prepare yourself for some good homemade sides instead. The pies and cupcakes are on the counter and ever so tempting. I wish they sold bites of pie lol. They look amazing and the slices are HUGE. Overall a good lunch, but the service was uneventful. read more

Really cute place and really good food. We showed up around 11 and they were no longer serving breakfast but lunch items were good. I got the soup and salad and the salad was huge! My husband ordered a side salad as well and it was the same size! Dressing was perfectly distributed. We love this Cafe! We travel through Fallon quite often but hadn't tried The Courtyard Cafe. All three of us ordered breakfast and dessert. My wife said her veggie omelet was the best omelet she's ever had. Great food! Great service. Highly recommend the blueberry cheesecake! read more

I had such a wonderful experience here! My boyfriend and I were in town for his business meeting. The Courtyard Cafe had such wonderful reviews on Yelp, so I decided to camp out there while he attended his meeting. I can definitely see why everyone loves it so much. The food was great and they had some wonderful choices, but it's the service that won me over. I was there for about 2-3 hours - had some breakfast, some coffee, and did some reading. They knew that I was there waiting for my boyfriend's meeting to be over, so they kept me entertained and constantly asked if I needed anything. They were just such a sweet staff! When his meeting was finally over, it felt like I was leaving an old family friend's house. So warm and inviting! I would give 1/2 a star if I could. We always add extra time for our trip into town (we live on the other side of the base from town) just for the chicken verde soup. WON'T DO THAT AGAIN any time soon. The soup was cold, EXTRA salty and there was NO verde in it. It was just a chicken and potato creamy soup. Along with soup we ordered garlic bread. It took over 35 minutes to get served. SERIOUSLY how long does it take to dish up a cup and a bowl of soup, throw in a slice of French bread cut in half with butter (and no garlic) to the broiler? btw for it taking so long, the excuse ~ 'we're waiting on the bread". Since we were headed to a medical appointment down the street, When we were seated I noticed everyone else had their food. So we figured we couldn't have really any wait time. I watched as a big green salad sat at the pick up window for 22 minutes (from the time I noticed it) to be served. This experience was extremely disappointing! There were plenty of people cooking, plenty of servers. We are regular customers at The CourtYard, but this one horrible experience will keep us away for awhile. read more

We were passing thru town and stopped to gas up. I was looking for hot soup but gas station didn't have any. So I went to google and found this coffee. Sandwiches and soup looked so good that we decided to stop by, and it was best decision ever. Hand down best food in town. Place inside looks so cozy as well. Been here a few times over the course of three years, but ny first review. They provided a spread for tractors and truffles which was AWESOME, and their cake pops were beyond good. As for the food it's good food and their desserts are made daily, if you're looking for a good place for breakfast and/or lunch this is a solid option. Only thing that sucks is they are closed for dinner....you'll come to notice that ik Fallon all the good places either are closed on monday and/or aren't open for dinner, this place as stated before, isnt open for dinner. It is a real shame that they aren't. But back to the food, it's good, earth shattering - eh, well above average and highly recommended for Fallon, but nothing to consistently write home about.
