A lovely local breakfast and lunch restaurant. When in Fallon this is where we love to dine. They have fresh brewed ice tea every day. We always get a glass to go. Irresistible pies and other baked goods. The service is very friendly with a classy local flair. I loved the soup of the day. Chicken tortilla. Arrived hot with just the right amount of spice, chicken and richness. The smoked bacon sandwich was delicious, and my husband had their burger which he loved. When passing through Fallon, this is your go-to place to have breakfast! Whether a traveler or a local, the staff treats everyone like an old friend. The restaurant is bright and airy, tables not crowded too close together. There are pies, cakes and cookies on display as well as pastries. Once the coffee was ordered and poured, it was constantly topped off. She ordered the Sliders - Three Petit Buttermilk Biscuits stuffed with Grilled Ham and Cheddar Cheese, served with Sausage Gravy and House Potatoes. I'm not a fan of ham or cheddar but I can report the gravy and biscuits were terrific! I had the Southwest Omelet. Three eggs, Chorizo Sausage, peppers, Tomatoes, Green Onions, Pepper Jack and Cheddar Cheeses topped with Fresh Avocados, Salsa, and Sour Cream (upon request), House Potatoes and Toast. I asked for Wheat Toast which was spectacular. I'm not a fan of bread either but the thick slice of toast that I received was well buttered and served with a small container of jam. It was THE BEST TOAST I'VE EVER HAD! When I asked, I was told that the bread had been baked that morning. Because we were stuffed but we're also greedy, we ordered a slice of Coconut Custard Pie to go. Although it sat on top of the ice in our ice chest for nine hours and then in our refrigerator at home for another 12 hours, we let it come back up to room temp before we ate it and it was delicious with our coffee! read more

The food was amazing! I had a chicken Caesar wrap. Absolutely delicious and fresh chicken. The tortilla was thin, so I didn't get big bites of bread. There was quite a selection of sides, and my salad had almonds and mandarin oranges. My daughter had a beef dip and she said it was great. The only reason I deducted stars is because none of the employees were wearing masks, which is currently mandated by our governor. There was an "open Nevada now" sign in the window, so apparently they aren't supportive of the reopening guidelines. read more

We were driving from Vegas to Oregon and were in need of breakfast. We also needed a spot that had outdoor seating for our dog who is with us, and this spot popped up with glowing reviews and tempting pictures. The waitress was so very nice, and even with it being a busy place she got to us fairly quick and the food was out soon after. We got the biscuits and gravy sliders, and everything quiche. The sliders had ham and chedder cheese in fresh baked buiscuits, and was served next to a gravy packed with sausage. So satisfying, I don't normally like busicuits and gravy but it was done so well. The everything quiche had bacon, mushrooms, cheese. And seasonal vegetables, and was packed with flavor. Both dishes had a side of ripe seasonal fruit, not that sad flavorless tart and watery fruit you so often get, and fresh kale which was random but it was awesome. The kale didn't have that overly spicy bitter after taste it normally has when not marinated in a dressing. We also had a piece of zucchini cake they gave us with the meal made in their bakery. They have a variety of pies and sweets, but we were full from what we ordered, but the place smelled so yummy. I totally recommend this place, and wish I could try their lunch. read more

Years ago had a California hamburger which had a small avocado slice so this made it ''California style''. Hamburger too small. I had to go to Mcdonalds soon after because I was still hungry. The waitress at Courtyard was dressed sloppily in street clothes. read more

We spotted this cafe from the highway as we cruised through town and stopped for lunch. It was pretty busy inside so they were happy to seat us outside. It was too late for breakfast when we arrived but they had a quiche on the menu. It was stuffed with meat and veggies and had a flaky crust. The mushrooms caramelized on the top, adding more flavor. The quiche came with zucchini bread that was moist and had a delicious glaze. My husband ordered the club sandwich with potato salad and it was huge. It was obvious the locals love it here and the servers are friendly and know their customers well. I would visit again :) read more

The waitress was kind and polite and the owner came by and asked how the food was and told us a little bit about the history of the place--really interesting. It has a very pleasant decor which makes the establishment feel very inviting and gives you an at home feel. When your walk in you are immediately hit with the smell of baked bread! And you can see a showcase of pastries and pies!! (I'm in heaven) For breakfast I had the Steak And Eggs. Everything was cooked to perfection. The toast that is accompanied with your breakfast was AMAZING. OMG freshly baked and cut thick. They also offer different types of teas which is given to you with cute tea pots. The potatoes were great, BUT THE TOAST... I went with the raisin wheat toast. They make it in house, and it was so good! And it wasn't thin like you think of when you get traditional toast. Oh no, this was a generous slab of toasty goodness. Perfectly crusted outside and delicious sweet raisins in the middle. It was great. Overall I'm giving this place 5 stars because the food was excellent, the staff was incredibly friendly, and they had so many good looking pastry options that they make in house. This place is so cool. We love coming here for regular lunches and for special occasions like birthdays and mother's day. Most recently we came for lunch on my daughter's 7th birthday and she got all dolled up and they treated her like a princess. It was really cute. No matter what the reason for our visit though, the owners and staff are all so nice and the food is seriously amazing. My favorite is the everything quiche, my husband & daughter love the cinnamon rolls but every single item we have eaten at the Courtyard cafe from the tea & cookies to the salads & entrees has been absolutely delicious. Racist cafe We got miss treated as soon as entered. All we wanted was coffee and a few bites to eat. We were told they are not that type of coffee shop and have no coffee or any other tea drinks for you. Then she said they have some chai for us since we are indians. We skipped drinks and tried ordering some danish and pies. We were mistreated again. She wouldn't wait even for a second to take our order or even tell us what's left available. We had to finally just leave after being mistreated and ignored. I hope this place treats other customers who are not indians better. I hope to never come back to this place ever again. read more

But if you don't make it in time for breakfast, the cobb salad with house dressing is great! It's such a big serving too! I ate it for lunch, then dinner, and then lunch the next day.
