Wow!! What a super cute spot. Right now reservation are required and only 15 capacity and only 4 to a group. We were welcomed with a delightful good morning and were seated quickly. The staff were wearing mask.The tables were large and comfortable to sit at. Drink orders were quickly taken and brought back. The waitress was very very friendly. Everything on the menu looked delicious. They have a great variety of choices. The choices were hard. My wife chose the Garden wrap it came with scrambled eggs and tomato's, avocado, green onion, mushrooms wrapped in a wheat tortilla and served with house potatoes. Looking around I watched people ordering. I seen an order of biscuits and gravy being delivered to the table. I knew that's what I was going to have. And boy was I glad I did. Buttermilk biscuits and gravy was just incredible! There was so much sausage in the gravy and the biscuits were definitely homemade. After a wonderful breakfast I took a walk around and in the glass case were homemade cinnamon rolls and much much more. But what caught my eye were the homemade pies. As I was looking them over, there it was a Key lime pie!! Yes I must have a slice of that. WOW!!! This pie was soooooo yummy just the right tartness and the crust was so good you could tell that one one the ingredients must have been love. It was a very warm and friendly environment. The service was great. Coffee was refilled frequently and so was my tea. We can wait to get back on our next visit to Fallon to try something super yummy!!! read more

Awesome breakfast. We saw they were open on a Monday so stopped . Lived here 6 years first visit. We had orange coconut pastry and a cinnamon roll since they looked so amazing. The bennys were perfect with spinach and tomato crispy bacon poached egg. It was hands down the best I've had. read more

Everything here is delicious! I've been here many times and I am never disappointed. My favorites are their homemade cinnamon rolls and the tastefully yours salad. Also my dad says they have the best cup of coffee in town lol. Deb the owner is a sweetheart and an amazing cook. Excellent home made everything. Probably the best vegi sandwich I have had. Husband had meatloaf sand very lean and great flavor. Tomato quiche and Blta sand had by friends were excellent. First visit to Courtyard Cafe for a meal, even though I live close...which is a mistake on my part. The food is excellent and so is the service. I had the BLT, my brother had the chicken salad (sandwich) and my SIL had the tortilla soup/tasteful salad combo. And we split a piece of Key Lime pie for dessert. All were really good. We had a delicious lunch here today... the food is all fresh and the sandwiches are all served on homemade buns...the spicy steak sandwich is highly recommended and the sweet chicken grilled sandwich was absolutely the most succulent and tasty with bacon and apple slices! .. the only thing we found was a little difficult was the noise factor.. but we will definitely be back... awesome food and friendly and prompt service ! read more

Was on a road trip and finally passed through Fallon. My best friend married a girl who was originally from there. Asked her for a recommendation and she pointed to this spot. Biscuits and gravy were amazing. Not super fancy, just proper cowboy style Americana in the best sense. Also tried the quiche which was actually pretty bland and not great in my opinion. Knocking off a star for that. Staff is friendly. If I had tried one of the amazing looking desserts I bet it would have been complementary to star rating as well. read more

When there are visitors, I typically tout this place as one of two best restaurants in Fallon (this and The Slanted Porch). My longtime friend, Robert K., and I happened to be in Fallon, NV, to visit our mutual friend Brent, a retired Navy Chief Petty Officer, and a great guy, and we were interested in getting together for breakfast. When we asked Brent what was his recommendation as the BEST BREAKFAST restaurant in Fallon, he immediately came back with, "Lets go to Courtyard Cafe," located in downtown Fallon, NV. Look out for great breakfast!! In keeping with the "country" way of life that Fallon has to offer, the dining room is definitely "country," and is very spacious and comfortable. The bakery side of the restaurant seems to be "low key," as much of the baked goods are served behind the counter. Fallon is very interesting as it's a ranching, "country" town, yet it's major employer is N.A.S. Fallon, the Navy aviation base located just outside of town. Navy personell know about what a good breakfast is all about, and that's one of things that makes Courtyard Cafe a winner. The large breakfast menu covers all bases and serves just about everything a breakfast lover could hope for. The menu is definitely different than the breakfast served on board U.S. Navy ships! From the "Courtyard Specials" section of the breakfast menu, I ordered the "Country Scramble," with sausage as my meat of choice. The menu describes the "Country Scramble" as, "One Buttermilk Biscuit topped with our Rich and Creamy Sausage Gravy, Two Eggs Scrambled and Sausage or Bacon," and I describe it as a delicious and satisfying breakfast. The sausage patty was the star of my breakfast, as it was perched on top of the biscuit, with scrambled eggs beside it, and rounded off with Courtyard's delicious, sausage gravy. Fallon is an interesting town, as NAS Fallon, the Fallon Naval Air Base, is located just outside of town, and is home to the men and women of the "Top Gun" program, Besides being a "Navy" town, Fallon also offers many local crafts and artesian's, and as our friendly server Kelly told me, the sausage is made, and sourced locally, which made it all the better. The amazing, thick, rich, in-house made sausage gravy covered the plate, and made for an outstanding breakfast. Normally I order eggs over easy, but with the "Country Scramble," the eggs come scrambled, so who am I to rock the boat? Factor in the orange slice and sprig of parsley for garnish, the buttermilk biscuit, the sausage gravy, and the sausage patty itself... "Country Scramble" is a delicious breakfast at an amazing restaurant. Brent's recommendation was certainly true, as Courtyard Cafe serves an amazing breakfast, with friendly staff, in a very comfortable, relaxed, "country" atmosphere, in keeping with the character of Fallon. I can't say that Courtyard Cafe serves the best breakfast in Fallon - as I haven't been to all of the breakfast restaurants the town has to offer - but I can say the breakfast I enjoyed at The Courtyard Cafe and Bakery was amazing, and I'm looking forward to another visit. Such a "country" atmosphere in a Navy town, delicious food, and a friendly hostess make The Courtyard Cafe and Bakery a 5-star restaurant! read more

Stopped here a little after 11 am on a Saturday, the place was pretty busy with people seated at all tables. The cafe has about 9 tables and several seat 6. There were about 7 seats at the counter with a few open, so we sat there. No one else was waiting to be seated. The place appeared very clean as was the bathroom. There were several homemade pies on the counter with scones, cinnamon rolls, assorted breads and cookies in the display case. There were a wide variety of Queen Mary teas behind the counter. We ordered from the menu and continued to check the place out. The furnishings are newer and very clean. The place looks well taken care of. The staff was very friendly and the food was very good. We even got a cookie and scone for the road. This is a great place to stop in Fallon! read more

Walked in, ordered sandwiches and slice of pie to go. I am VERY impressed with my Chicken Avocado! DELICIOUS and hot, with perfect grilled crust on. Potato salad was good. My daughter got the Cold Classic (turkey). Her chips were just pre-made, bagged. We have yet to try the pie quite yet; we're full without even finishing our food. Incredible Cobb Salad! This place was such a gem the staff was very kind and attentive. The portions are big and they have great prices.
