I know that the prices are a bit higher, but I felt that the sandwich was a bit small for the cost even with the small bag of chips it included. The sandwich was good, not great. It was ok. The chips were chips, they didn't make them, it was nice that they were included. I got waffle fries. They were good, thick and cooked through. I was hoping for a bit of a crunch but they were a good flavor. My disappointment was with the Watermelon Wave. It said a watermelon Italian soda with layers of cream and whipped cream. I got the soda but there was no cream or whipped cream layering for the delightful experience. I entered the problem through the DoorDash app, but did not hear anything back. My Boss phoned in an order with a request for an itemized receipt along with the amount. Only the itemized food was on it. When she called to get a copy of the receipt with the price, a screen shot was sent of what it would cost. She said the person was quite rude about it. The salad had a hair in it and was refunded. The young man was polite when I gave him the hair but pretty much threw the refund on the table and ran. Hair nets are a good idea. The young lady who made the ice cream cone was smiling and polite so she gets the 2 stars everything else really needs improving. We call in and order pizza often in the summer and it's always a hit! They are so friendly taking orders and they have it ready on time. Our favorite is the white based pizza that was newer this summer - ordered it again and again! Love supporting a local business especially when it's been such a great experience. Most of the time my sammie is spot on and the pirate sauce is great! Most talk about pizza but the pizza is just ok. The nachos aren't anything special, but they are filling. The ice cream is good! So this is a one stop shop if you are in polson. The staff tends to get overwhelmed. We stayed in Polson for a few days for a summer vacation and we loved this spot. My husband who tends to be a very picky eater (and my kids) loved their pizza and sandwiches. I got the fish tacos. So good that we came back the next day and ordered the same things. If you have kids, the arcade type games they have in there will keep them entertained for a bit. Right next door, they have a connecting ice cream shop that serve ice cream, and I especially love their huckleberry ice cream. if i could rate this 0 stars i would. this place has gone so downhill within the past couple of years. it's very uncleanly. there was dried up food in windowsill and in seats. i overheard a girl complain about not wanting to sit in a booth because it was so dirty. the service was poor and we weren't acknowledged when we walked in. they forgot to put in one of our orders, and put it in once we got the rest of our food so one of the people in our group had to wait and ended up not eating. when we got ice cream, the area was absolutely disgusting! there was a milkshake cup that had ice cream dripping from it onto the counter from earlier, there was absolutely no sanitation. everyone had long hair and no hair nets, no washing of hands. nothing was being wiped down. the sanitation cup of the ice cream scoops was filthy and creamy looking. we are all at home now with gurgles and cramps and will not be going back! read more

Long hair with no hair bets. Very poor food handling skills. Cross catamination. No washing hands as I saw them making my food. They kept playing with their hair and phones. As they touch my food order. Recommend better training. Since food bourn illness is the number 1 killer... as a prprer cook my self. I disagree with their training. Kindness, coincidence, and a really tasty sandwich... I got all of these on Sunday and in spades. I was in a rush to get to the airport in Missoula from Whitefish to catch my flight back home to the Bay. Running low, I stopped to get fuel in Polson on Flathead Lake. For some reason, the fuel filler door wouldn't open nor could I pry the door open manually. I called roadside assistance and they hung up on me repeatedly. In a jam and running out of time, I saw a couple people in front of me talking and I told them my predicament and asked them if anyone has any ideas for a solution. One guy grabbed something from his car I think a flathead screwdriver and asked me to try the fuel door lever again - I did and at the same time he pried the door with his tool. It worked - the solution required two people working together simultaneously. I thanked him profusely and he said "no problem" and drove off. As I started filling the tank it occurred to me that my own biological fuel tank was on empty as it was by then 2pm and I hadn't yet eaten. I really craved a sandwich so started asking if there was a deli nearby. Most locals said no place was open because it was Sunday. One clerk said he knew a place - Cove Deli (http://covedeli.com) that's definitely open on Sundays and only a cuppa blocks away. I drove there. The place looked closed but I tried opening the door anyway. It was locked but before I tuned away towards the car, the door opened and standing there was the same guy that helped me with the fuel filler door just minutes before. Turns out that he, Ryan, was an owner. His shop was closed to repair some equipment. We both smiled at the coincidence and I shared with him my most amazing personal coincidence story which partly took place in South Korea and he remarked he just hired a South Korean. I then asked him if he knew of a place to get a sandwich and after a pause he said "come on in I'll fix you a sandwich. I'll be quick - I know you gotta get going soon." He then makes me a tasty sandwich and also Hands me a Wilcoxson's ice cream fudge bar saying it's Montana made and I'm going to love it which I did. While I waited, I noticed some excellent bottled and draft beer options. We exchanged contact info and I thanked him yet Again. In the span of 7 minutes, Ryan, this helpful stranger, helps me big time not once but twice, first to help get fuel for my car and second giving me tasty, nourishing fuel for my body not to mention the soul. read more

We are at the Cove for lunch today and had a wonderful experience! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The food was great. Some our party had sandwiches others had pizza and one had the fish tacos. We order the cheeses stocked with marinara sauce. The y were fabulous! The jalapeños were warm so we picked them off. The dough was so fabulous. They were the best I've ever had. Was not waited on for over a half hour even though we watched them wait on others . So my wife went to the counter to place our order and was told it would be a minute . Then with my wife standing at the counter they then went and took some people's order that just walked in . Then after a 15 minute wait at the counter they finally took our order . Then to make it worse after another half hour no pizza so my wife went back to the counter and ask why everyone else is getting there orders . They said the waitress that took our order never put it in and the ended her shift . So after a hour and a half we left without eating . I would never recommend this place to anyone ever read more

We stopped here the day after Xmas while driving through, after walking around Polson looking for an open restaurant. I was about to settle on the salad bar when we noticed they had gluten free pizza. My son and I were stoked. The pizza was excellent - one of the best gf crusts I've ever had and the sauce made it one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Our travels brought me through Polson again so I stopped in to verify my initial findings. I just took my first bite and am a happy man. When we asked what was in a flavor ice cream that had an obscure name, she seemed bothered and annoyed to have to answer and mumbled incoherently beneath her mask. When we didn't tip on the ice cream (we had tipped on the lunch bill, and honestly she was so rude getting the ice cream she didn't deserve one) she shook her head like she couldn't believe it. I've never felt so unwelcome as a paying customer. The ice cream was good, but the Montana made brand of ice cream can be found in many other places. Amazing pizza disappointing service. Stopped in here on vacation for a fun dinner with my kids and family who was visiting. Upon entering we notice that the tables were dirty and that the bus boys were lounging in the entryway. After deciding on our meals my husband and father went to the counter. Upon ordering they were told that the soda fountain was not working. My father asked for a pitcher of water instead. The cashier then stated that if he were to get a pitcher of water for our family that she would have to charge him $8. My father refused to pay $8 for tap water and the cashier ultimately relented. After ordering we grabbed a seat. The pizza came after a good 20-25 minute wait. The waitress brought it to the table and placed the trays on the stands with the stands being upside down making them unstable. We grabbed our plates and cups (which had wash residue on them) and proceed to dig in. At this point my daughter needed her pizza sliced into smaller chunks and there was not cutlery. We asked the waitress for a knife to a slice the pizza smaller to which she handed us a butcher knife stating that didn't have butter knives or anything smaller. We also had to ask for Parmesan cheese which was not on the tables and I had to ask for toilet paper for the bathroom. Overall the food was delicious but the employees sorely lack customer services skills and do not present the business in the best way. Yummy pizza but maybe get it to go. read more

They were mediocre at best. A little too much bread and mayonnaise on mine, hardly any meat. Wife had similar issue with her sandwich. Employees were friendly to us and the service was pretty fast, but I don't believe we will be making a stop in here again. read more
