This little spot is great, for gatherings of small to medium groups. There's the stage which appears to be used for live music, DJ and dancing. The seating area is mainly loretta tables with a few booths flanking the sides, being accompanied by a central bar with large 4k tvs for viewing sports events. Having brunch together, the mimosas were pretty standard and the shrimp and grits were raved about by my cohorts. My waitress completely dropped the ball with my order. Saving the day was Dennis, the owner who spotted the mishap straight away! He quickly responded making my order a priority which was for the crab cake benedict. While the order came up quickly, the fried green tomatoes were absolutely nonexistent, which was sad as I absolutely adore fried green tomatoes! Additionally, the asparagus was sitting under a heating lamp too long and had shriveled to the state of a garnish. The waitress, yet again, should have caught this. So in one of the most rare of cases I did not leave tip for her. The fact that Dennis was so great at handling this scenario, along with this being a birthday occasion and my my friends absolutely enjoying their entreesm, is the SOLE reason the restaurant gets the fourth star. Amazing service and live music last night for a date night. Our server was "Sunny" and she was phenomenal. She provided a list of their specials and was very knowledgeable on what the menu had to offer. Her service was attentive and accommodating. We had the porter house steak, which Chef T.T delivered on every expectation. The BEST steak we have had in a while esp. in this area. We visited the Craft on 10 January for supper. As soon as we walked in, it felt off. Once we were seated, we waited to be greeted by a server for quite a while, when the hostess saw us waiting for a long time, she decided to help us by providing menus and taking our drink order, she was very pleasant. I can only assume they are understaffed. While we have been to the Crafter before, we never have had a great experience, but we wait 18 months or so, then try again because we like to support local businesses. This was our time to "try again." I specifically ordered the lightly battered fish and chips on their menu. When it arrived at my table it was corn meal fried fish not even close to battered fish and chips. They need to use a beer batter; corn meal is for catfish only. YUK!!!! I had to send it back. My husband's burger patty was tiny and had the consistency of a hockey puck. Our onion rings were sparse and way overpriced, we counted them, it was a little over $1.00 per ring. So, this is it, we've tried again and again and now my husband, and I agree that the true definition of "Insanity" is "doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results." We stopped for lunch after some friends recommended the place. Ham, our server was friendly, outgoing and informative. He is money in the bank with interacting with customers! My husband tried one of their craft beers which he really liked and had the Sunday brunch breakfast sandwich which had Connecuh sausage and was delicious. I had a delicious salad with picked onions and goat cheese that I highly recommend along with a wood stove baked pepperoni pizza. It was delicious as well! Fried crab claws ($25) were good but very small. Margarita and martini ($10 each) were prepared well. Ordered our burgers medium but they were like hockey pucks (WAY overdone). Not sure why they even bother to ask how you want them cooked. Waitress was nice but seemed unconcerned about our burgers being overcooked. (Maybe it's a common thing?) Nice atmosphere. Here's the thing -- I'm local, been here a handful of times, and I want to enjoy this place. The food has been fine each visit, but the wait time, ridiculous. My first couple trips weren't terrible, but it took longer to get food than it should've. This time, on a Saturday, 90+ minutes plus for two of us -- a cheeseburger and a Philly. Not our server's fault, although, when I asked if he could check with the kitchen, he responded "there's 2 tickets ahead of you." So, that means they only cook one ticket at a time?! Also, he was only one of what appeared to be two servers in the whole place, so that's a management issue. I expect better from our "local" establishments. Nowhere should take an hour-plus, I don't care what you serve. As much as I want to like it, this will probably be my last visit for a while. And, we weren't the only ones. Two tables around us sent food back, and two others had their food bagged up, because of the delay. Do better. read more

Cold beer, average food, and plenty of TVs for spots fans. Overall, a decent place to check out in town; I'll note this place as somewhere to grab a beer, mixed drink, and appetizers, but not much more. The oysters were huge which was appreciated. The major drawback was that whoever shucked them must have been new. It took significant work to get them out of their shells and down but in the end, they were good. The crab claws was a step into trying something new. Not what I was expecting, but they were a nice choice overall and seemingly unique to this restaurant. The steak was prepared to order but nothing really noteworthy to mention about it. The cobb salad was basic; not good, not bad, just a cobb salad one could easily make at home for less cost. I could also potentially see this place as a lunch spot for a burger or something of the kind. All in all, no complaints and no superlatives to seriously note. Good food but slow service and it seems they run out of a lot of menu items. The outside of the building looks nice but the inside is very lacking. It would make the food taste so much better if there was some warm decor and a bit of ambiance. I will say the bang bang shrimp and shrimp snd grits were fabulous. Salads are not their forte! Their classic salad was made with iceberg lettuce and canned mandarin oranges. The salad that contained strawberries, pecans snd cheese would have been much better on arugula or field greens. We have eaten here multiple times and it's our choice of restaurant in enterprise. The food is average to good however we mostly come for the experience and the environment. The drink menu is amazing but a little on the expensive side. Service is hit or miss but we don't normally mind because we are never in a hurry because of the music/band playing on the weekend. Went for dinner on Friday and it was good - then went for Sunday brunch and it all went to yuck. Waited for over an hour for one cold egg (should have been 2 eggs, but was clearly only one), there was no avocado for toast and I arrived 20 minutes after service started (??? was told they were out of Avocado -- clearly they were not out they didn't have any in the first place???), the toast was cold and the bacon was over cooked. The only eatable part of the brunch was the cheese grits. Left hungry and disgusted. My companion had chicken and waffles -- the chicken was overcooked and could not even be cut with a knife. Definitely not worth the wait either! Will not go back -- very disappointing. Staff did not seem concerned at all about the food going out and it was obvious the person in the kitchen could care less to send out such a food abomination. read more

We just moved to the area and tried The Craft for Sunday brunch...it was a great experience all around! The food was delicious - we ordered a variety of appetizers and several different types of meals, and everyone at the table was pleased. Our server, Mercedes, was absolutely the BEST!! She handled our humor and odd questions with grace and even bantered back and forth with us. She remembered all our orders with no pen and paper. Everything came to the table exactly as we requested. I'm visiting in town for business and heard about this place through a mutual friend. The restaurant was understaffed, service was slow which I understand how it is when it gets busy. I'm patient and I will wait to enjoy good food. I ordered the fried oysters as an appetizer. The fried oysters breading lacked flavor and it was burnt some. I ordered the 8oz Ribeye for an entree along with a side salad and fried potatoes. This was probably the worst ribeye steak I've ever had! The ribeye itself was about a quarter inch. Although it looked big it really wasn't. The cut of ribeye is something you would put on a ribeye sandwich. It was over seasoned with whatever rub was put on the steak. The steak itself did not have a good sear on either side. The fried potatoes was dry and over seasoned with the same seasoning on the ribeye steak. The best part of the meal was the side salad and the soft drink that I had. Overall this would be the worst dinner I've had in a long time. I'm a foodie by nature and will pay good money for good meals. The price of this meal isn't worth the review I'm posting about. I'm generally honest in my reviews. The owner needs back in the kitchen to actually watch the cook cooking steak. If you're going to charge premium steak prices get a good cut of ribeye. Teach the cook to make a good sear on the steak and coat that steak with butter. Use some salt and pepper and maybe some garlic and thyme. One star because the service was horrible. It's nice to see such a great building put to use. Very clean and nice atmosphere. Now, if only they'll stay longer than most. The staff was very prompt getting us to our table. They LOVE checking on you almost to a point of an annoyance. How many people love having the same question asked after every bite? Other than that they're a very nice staff. Now to what people go to restaurants for...the food. We ordered the cheddar bacon ranch fries...and they were AMAZING. I ordered their 12-ounce steak and replaced my sides with fries and cheese grits. Now, the fries were as good as the appetizer just without the cheese. The grits lacked salt and were LOADED with chunks of onions. The steak was cooked to my liking but the only flavor was from the char created from the grill. I ordered a Mexican Mule and lets just say, even though it was good, it'll make you feel good on a bad day. Bartenders have a clue what they're doing. We also ordered fried oysters and a shrimp po-boy. The flavor of the shrimp was great but the sandwich is huge. Be prepared to take it home. The oysters were ok, at best. They almost seemed like a frozen batch. My son got chicken bites. All of the kid's meals come with tater tots. Now for the flavor, all of the salt everything else lacked was on the chicken.
