I couldn't wait to go here and it didn't disappoint. The line was short but still gave us time to browse the menu. We ordered and then took a seat ....the atmosphere is friendly ,pavilion style. While waiting , observing the staff pumping out the confections ordered before us. And the line was forming ! When our ordered was done , it was so amazing !! Piled high , past the rim . They have other things like ice cream sandhwiches, etc. but get the mason jar it's worth it! They also have a washing station you can rinse your jar out to keep and take home! This place sits inside a bowling alley, which is totally weird! BUT we wanted to try it, this was the one closest to us. Parking is tight, you will do good if you can find a spot! Once going in you smell the smelly feet of a bowling alley, urg, but work your way to the back and ice cream heaven appears. There was a super long line but it moves fast. You can look at menus while you wait in line. We ordered s'mores the merrier, pecan pie, cookies something. Well it's definitely a diabetic coma, definitely! Sugga coma! I only ate 1/4 of mine and turned it over to my husband. It was good but very rich, super dooper rich! It was worth the cool looking shakes and the huge smiles! Even thou we were in a sugga coma for hours on end afterwards!!!! LOL. Highly recommend going during the day, line isn't as bad! It was a cool experience and give it one try! Mistakes were made. Don't repeat my mistakes. Mistake #1: Do not assume the Crazy Mason is a stand-alone dessert place. The Crazy Mason is located INSIDE of a bowling alley. There is no way to get in aside from walking through the bowling alley. Do not walk around the outside of the building four times like a weirdo while looking for their entrance. Mistake #2: Do not attempt to eat this in your car. I highly highly highly recommend eating at a table. Since the Crazy Mason is lacking in any outdoor seating, this means sitting indoors. Expect all of the noise of a busy bowling alley as you're trying to eat. Mistake #3: Do not assume that, like every other food industry standard, that the Crazy Mason's pictures are exaggerated. Somehow, every since shake we saw matched the photos perfectly - in toppings, design, and straight-up height. You WILL get exactly as much food as pictured in the pictures. Do not assume otherwise. Mistake #4: Do not assume that you can eat one of these on your own. I, honestly, tapped out within a few sips of the milkshake after having eaten all of the topping. These are some big, big treats. You can likely split one of these between two or three people with no problem. Do not be afraid to tap-out if you're feeling sugar'ed out. No shame. Mistake $5: Do not assume takeout is easily feasible. If every person in your party is open to eating the majority of your toppings - then handholding the shakes the entire drive, you can manage it. However, the toppings adhered to the sides of the jar (in my case, fudge used to get a bunch of chocolate chips to stick) will get ALL over your cupholders if you attempt to put them down to drive. If you leave the full milkshake until you get home, some of the toppings (like the whipped cream or ice cream) will likely start to melt before you get home, and some of the toppings will fall off. This is not an easy take-out beverage. Despite all of this, we want to come back again. The milkshakes are picture-worthy and downright delicious. They'll throw you in a sugar coma - and then you'll be excited the next day to try a new flavor and do it all again. This place is awesome, worth the novelty, and seriously delicious. It's the kind of place that could only survive in a metropolis or tourist city. Other Things of Note: -Even during off-season, this place was hopping. Expect a wait. -To make it easier to wait for your treats, there's a giant TV that displays the order number available for pick-up. You can spread out and social distance away from the massive crowd waiting for people - and just come up to the counter when it's time to pick up your order. -There is a washing station located inside the restaurant. The glass mason jars are designed to go home with you to be reused, so you can wash them out here for easy travel. They even make collectible versions to make that more fun. -I did not see any recycling station to recycle the glass jars, but I'll admit I was very distracted. read more

This is one of the places you should try once. It is a huge milkskake in a jar with the coolest over the top toppings. You may become a diabetic eating here but I think its worth it. One jar is enough for two to share so dont think you will finish one unless your a NFL linebacker or have a tapeworm. The cheesecake and Peanut Butter jars are great. Need to do something to inprove cleaning jars. Low water pressure and its not hot enough to clean them well. Maybe consider swapping them out for a clean one before the customer leaves? This place serves the granddaddy of all milkshakes! It is located at the back of a bowling alley/billiards bar so it is a little tricky to find. The milkshakes are served in a mason jar ($14.95) or you can get the "mini" version served in a bowl ($10.95). You can order one of their specialty shakes or make your own. Disappointed that they didn't follow through on their gimmick. The whole idea is that they do elaborate sundaes, but I ordered one right off the menu with no special requests and they missed multiple toppings that were in the recipe. Missing chocolate and marshmallow sauces? At the prices they charge, you'd expect them to get it right. Also, the menu says "whipped cream", not non-dairy-dessert-topping. Little pricey as expected, you do get to keep the jar which is super cool, the only thing I'd suggest is to add a description of each milkshake (what's in it) because it was really hard choosing not knowing what was in each milkshake and it is a very busy business so I think this could help even with the long lines.
