My elderly mother HAD a pest (squirrel) problem for YEARS that was FINALLY resolved by the excellent and courteous service by The Critter Team. ... Mike - the VERY PERSONABLE, PROFESSIONAL, and EXPERIENCED owner - came out and did an assessment within about an hour of my initial call. They were quite busy during the season in which I first contacted them, so Chris followed up a week later and set one-way gated exit doors and traps. He left them for a total of two months, checking once in the middle to see if any minor adjustments or repairs were necessary. (BTW, the exit doors when mounted DO NOT look unsightly and are actually nearly unnoticeable from half a lawn away and completely unseen from the street.) ... At the one-month midpoint, Chris did some preventative mods to the home flashing to ensure they were not easy targets for critter reentry once their entry/exit ports of choice were closed off. (These ports/holes were created from small original homebuilder cracks the squirrels enlarged to gaping holes by clawing and gnawing over time.) Chris also noticed a wire mesh vent covering that had been critter-compromised into a new entry/exit port, so he reinforced that at the same time also. BIG ... Pretty much from day one, NONE of the (unfortunately) regular jumping, scratching, and clawing was heard coming from the attic; however, Chris informed that the exit doors should remain to give any quiet critters plenty of time to exit. ... Once everything was considered clear - two months from start - Chris returned and repaired/sealed the two holes (one small, one relatively quite large), finishing them to where they blended completely with the home... as if no critter invasion and remodeling had ever happened. ... Victoria, who masterfully (wo)mans the office, was SUPERBLY KIND, PATIENT, and PROFESSIONAL when communicating with my elderly mother, who has difficulty hearing and understanding things quite often now. When Henry (or Henrietta) the raccoon decided to make my attic one of her 4 nesting grounds, The Critter Team came right out and got us all situated! They are Amazing! They put the trap in place, even came back to repair it when Henry tore it open the first time, and then after the week of waiting they closed and patched up the hole and you could not even tell that there had ever been an opening. Critter Team left me hanging. They did the exclusions, missed some spots, and did the exclusion again. The rodents in the attic are still here and Critter Team won't return my calls. I have been looking around for more wildlife removal companies to assist me with this. Do not believe Critter Team's one-year warranty for exclusions. I recently had some birds make their home in an exhaust vent in my house. The vent is near the top of the second floor of my house. After realizing it was a terrible idea for a 50-year-old fat guy to climb up TWO sets of ladders to reach it, I made a few calls to get help. Several exterminators recommended Mike from The Critter Team to me. I called, he came out, gave me a quote and cleared out the nest and screened off the vent to ensure the birds couldn't come back. Super quick, super friendly and very affordable. I hope I don't get any more critters in my home, but if I do, I'm calling The Critter Team back to take care of them. read more

I won't use this company for 2 reasons. 1. They told me to pay them for coming out to give a bid after they gave me the bid and never mentioned a charge for an estimate at the time I made the appointment. After we walked the property, I told Mike Garrett that the bid was too high and Mike told me to give him money for the estimate...sneaky. 2. The bid was for $5,000.00 to simply seal up any possible entry points...did not include extraction or anything else. This scam seems unethical to me. I paid $54.00 for him to look at the problem. Imagine if he goes around charging people for estimates all day and the customer has no choice? He won't need to worry about getting the job. He has nothing to lose and he can bid them all too high and hope he gets a few now and then...work less and make more. He didn't seem to care if he got my job because he is way overpriced for what he offered to do. Then, after seeing the review from Alicia, about Mike not holding true to his warranty, I feel I made the right choice. Somehow, I felt like his mentioned warranty would not be meaningful and it seems as if I was right. I've been ripped off in the same way before. So, I'm moving onto the next and hopefully better company until I find the one who is fair and cares...tough combo to find these days. When you have a problem with skunks in the garage, Mike and his team are the people to call. They safely and humanely removed mama and six baby skunks that had made a home in the garage. Would definitely recommend to anyone having any kind of raccoon problem! I heard noises in my attic and called them. They came out the next day and did an inspection on my house. Found out I had raccoons in my attic. They trapped them and fixed the places they were coming in from. He was fast and really nice. Paid up front in full $1100.00. Critter Team set traps but never returned. Their contract states daily maintenance, but after a week and 2 voice messages unanswered, nothing. At 8 days, I spoke with a woman who answered Mike's number and asked her to send someone out because the raccoons had ripped out another soffit vent cover and were bypassing the traps. I never received a callback, never received a visit. I called another raccoon removal company who covered all soffit vents with 16 gauge wire, and overlaid with a brand new vent cover and removed Critter Team traps. New company placed live trap in attic and the raccoon was caught that night. I do not recommend The Critter Team, they abandoned the job. read more

Mike is great! Called several numbers trying to find someone to remove a snake from the garage. Ended up calling Jimmy who referred me to Mike who works in my area. Mike came out within an hour to remove the snake. Checked out the rest of the house and garage to see if any other critters. Very honest down to earth person. We called looking for someone to remove snakes from a closet. I had to call back several times because they do not have voice mail. The person I spoke with did not tell me it would be $225 for a service call even if no snakes were removed. They did not find the snakes and still charged the $225. Then they tried to sell us another service for something we did not call for. Beware. Make sure you get all of the facts before you have them come out. read more
