I guess this place is now called Scooters Barbeque @ Crossroads 44 Music & Sports Bar. The main building is closed; I heard through the grapevine that the owner just shut it down like a week ago and a new owner will be taking it over soon. Around back, there is a decent sized covered bar where we were hanging out. There are two pool tables and several other games out there, plus TV monitors for watching the big game. There is no air conditioning as it's an outside bar, but it is covered and they have several fans to help keep the stank moving. There is also a stage available for live entertainment. Although some of this place is newly renovated it's still a dive bar and there is no indoor restrooms only two porta potties out back which are long due for exchange. Drinks are reasonable, about $5.50 for a well whiskey and ginger ale. The young girl working the bar was sweet as sugar, but I felt bad for her because it was super hot out today even in the shade and with fans going. All-in-all, this is a pretty cool bar to check out if you like biker bars and want to swing by for a cold drink and some fun with your riding buddies.

They have a bar area, inside seating and a beer garden. Part of the beer garden is under cover so it worked for us. There were Thursday specials and the beer menu could be viewed through a code on your phone. Our server quickly took our drink order, which for me was the $5 margarita special. The menu has interesting choices of a variety of empanadas, salads, burgers, bowls, entrees and sandwiches. I opted for a bowl with Mac and cheese and beef. Food arrived quickly and for me it was the perfect portion. For my husband, it wouldn't have been. The Mac and cheese was good, and the meats which were ground beef, brisket and short ribs cooked in a sauce were excellent. Our server was efficient and helpful. We were too full for dessert, but they looked interesting.

Dog friendly on the patio. The staff was so personable and fun to chat with. ALL the food was good, my favorites were the Fried Green 'Maters which are topped with Chimento-cheese, also the pretzel bites because that house made beer cheese dip is incredible! My boyfriend loved the empanadas. Beers!!! 4 Nun Blonde or the Golden Age ... which for a Belgian pleasantly surprised me! It reminded me of a cream ale. Wish it was closer to South Florida! We would definitely become members

I tried their Belgian Quadruple and it was pretty amazing. The staff was super friendly and the owner was there the night we stopped in and he said hello. Here, it seems to be the case that you need to go to a brewery to find the best. For me, I did not have a pizza here, but if the garlic knots are any indication of the dough used here, well, trust me, I'd make the leap on that. They may not have looked like what I was imagining, but they tasted great! As for the beer, most of it is actually above average. Plus, it is not all from Three Odd Guys so you do have some good variety here. They are Untapdd friendly so you can always preview the menu before coming out, too. Service was brilliant and the place is a nice, wide-open space with great seating. The night I was there was trivia night. Romcoms from the late 80s into the 90s? Well, I recognized one name, and not that I was playing, but I would have only gotten bonus points for funny answers.
