We came for bingo and had an absolute blast! The pork tenderloin was delicious, and the cheesecake is an absolute must-try. It was so good that we ordered a whole cheesecake to take home with us. Our servers were attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. Excellent food. Truly excellent. Homemade pizza is worth the wait. Fried jalapeños, Mac n cheese bites delicious. Everything the tabled ordered was delicious. Service was attentive and decent. Family friendly. It's be nice if there were more restrooms-but if that's your only complaint about a place you're in a great place. Three of us had their steak and shrimp dinners and the steaks were terrible. When we mentioned it to the waitress her reply was "yeah, we've had a lot of complaints ". No apologies or an offer to reduce the bill or anything. If you get numerous complaints why keep serving them? We won't be back and we have been spreading the word around. read more

First off, Robert V is a knucklehead. He obviously had one too many drinks. I'm sure he was just mad because his wife had to take him home before he made a fool of himself. The food at the Crooked Roof is fantastic! The drink selection is huge and the musical talent comes from near and far. I love the Wassup burger and fries. The pizza is delicious (great sauce and sausage). I've had the baby back ribs a few times and they were sooo good. I know of a few beef farmers in the area that really love the steaks there. I still haven't tried them 'cause I really love their burgers and I'm a creature of habit. Which reminds me, the blue crumbled cheese burgers are also amazing! You might want to call ahead to make sure they have room, because they can fill up pretty quick on a nice day. By the way, Hokie F, wraps are for people who say they are on a diet, but don't want to eat like they are on a diet. There is and never will be anything fancy about a wrap. read more

The food's okay. The people are friendly enough. Seems like a mix of locals, and the make-believe bikers who start flooding the county come May. I'd steer clear on a Saturday evening though. The service gets spotty, the food comes out very slowly, and it's not that awesome once you do get served. And the beer's way too expensive to kill a couple hours here waiting on your dinner. read more

Not my first time there . Same outcome. Lousey attitude from younger servers and mixed drinks with almost no alcohol. Seems to be the standard for this bar. Rode there and fellow rider was a bar manager for many years. We all watched our drinks as they were made and she was shocked at the pathetic amount of alcohol poured. When I questioned the young girl in the square glasses about her mix,she got smart with me and proceeded to bad mouth us to all the other employees in front of us. 6 bucks for a glass of pop! We went to eat but 1 drink and there was a large group that left and will never go back again. read more

I wanted really bad to like this place. The food was good, the atmosphere comfortable. The staff friendly. Two things happened that ruined the experience for me. I ordered a mixed drink. What I got was one inch of liquid. Much smaller than a similar drink would have been anywhere else. I did not find it worth six bucks. The final bill was $29 dollars. We had a coupon that took off the $20 for food leaving $9. My wife gave them a twenty and got $8 back as change. She left way more of a tip than I would have because of that. Went to the crooked roof yesterday with my husband & 3 other friends... Four of us ordered one of their burgers & one ordered their special prime rib sandwich and all left full and happy with our experience. The burgers were fresh and delicious... the server was sweet and attentive... the restaurant was very clean. I definitely recommend this place. We will go back. read more

The pizza I ordered was great! Everything tasted fresh. Jill, the girl who waited on us, was absolutely amazing! My wife and I came to The Crooked Roof about a year ago and ordered a large pizza while visiting family in the area. The food at this establishment was overall okay. Although, it was by no means busy for a Saturday evening and it took almost 40 minutes to receive three dishes and the tea tasted old.
