First time here for a quick light lunch. The Cull House is right by the Sayville Ferry , so convenient! The woman serving use was so polite and attentive. Thank you . The restaurant is rustic , with plenty of seating and it has a nice bar too. I ordered fish and chips off of the lunch menu . I was pleasantly surprised at the price as it was unexpected , only $15.00 ! The coating on the fish , which was cod , was so delicious , crunchy, crisp and not at all greasy. The fish itself was sweet and not fishy tasting . The chips were a surprise as I expected French fries but it was crispy bake potato pieces . They were absolutely delicious! I will definitely be back to try something else .

Came here on a Saturday while family was in town for an early dinner. The outside looked a little run down but it was nice and clean inside. We sat down right away but staff was a little slow as we waited awhile to order drinks + food. Once things were ordered, though, everything came out in a timely matter. I think the only major disappointment was the food itself. Unfortunately, our baked clams were a little fishy and had too much garlic -- also, I'm pretty sure they served us a used lemon wedge which was off putting. As for the food, shrimp was undercooked and my chicken was definitely dry/overcooked. They forgot our baked potatoes and then when served, the plastic butter packages were INSIDE of the baked potato which is a little unsanitary. Not sure if I'll be back -- the staff is super friendly and hardworking but the kitchen just didn't do it for me. Good luck and I hope this pushes some improvements!

Hidden Gem. I went for their lunch special on their lobster roll and it did not disappoint. Very good. I got the hot lobster roll and it was perfect. The service was very fast and the waitress was very friendly. My husband and I sat outside. The ambiance was perfect for us on a nice sunny day. I wish the parking was better.

To start off, the parking was a pain in the neck. There's is not enough parking for the amount of space they have in the restaurant and usually restaurants would then turn to valet, but they didn't offer that. The surrounding residential neighborhood streets had no parking signs all over. We were attracted to this restaurant because of its outdoor seating and variety of seafood. It also had a chill beach vibe rather than super fancy. The back patio was nice with a bit of a garden (bees were around sporadically). The food was ok, and the prices were affordable rather than outrageous, however, this certainly was not the best lobster roll on Long Island. The bun/bread the lobster roll was served on could've definitely been stepped up a notch. Regarding the service, our waitress and servers were nice and took our orders promptly, but the food took a long time to come out

Recommended! Had a wonderful experience here recently. We will return and we highly recommend Cull House. Great food, super super service, Casual atmosphere, near Fire Island Ferries in Sayville. Server was a 10+++, and the manager came to each table to converse with customers! A big plus! Really shows buy-in and dedication to customers and product! For apps we had some delicious Long island Steamers. Tender and flavorful, served with drawn butter and clam broth in an iron skillet. Really good! We also had a nice wedge salad, a crisp and snappy favorite of ours. Cull House got this relatively easy salad right. (Sometimes other restsursnt miss on the easy stuff) For mains we had a lobster roll and the broiled fisherman's platter. The lobster roll was "cold style" with sweet snd flavorful lobster meat in light mayo with a small trace of celery. Nicely done. The roll was a garlic buttered brioche style hot dog bun. An interesting variation to the traditional plain white bread hot dog bun. The lobster roll came with 2 sides. We choose coleslaw and coconut white rice. Both sides were nice and the coconut rice was especially flavorful. We also has a broiled fisherman's platter. The platter had a generous portion of bay scallops, shrimp, flounder, a baked clam and a crab cake, really good! it also came with our choice of two sides. We choose coleslaw and steamed broccoli which had a delicious bonus chipotle mayo! Really good! After we finished our meal, Our server brought us over a desert menu with a really nice selection of house made deserts snd desert drinks. Note: dont skip the deserts! Totally amazing! Super good! We had chocolate espresso bars and crem brûlée, both exceptional. So good, Id maybe even come here just for desert! Also consider Cull House for catering! They have a lobster bake shore dinner that i would consider for a party or event. Highly recommend, reasonably priced and casual.

Very nice Mother's Day lunch. They had a gluten free bun for the lobster roll. Very nice portion of lobster. I like that they have a mocktail menu. I was unable to have fries due to cross contamination. I was happy to be able to substitute a baked potatoes. Mom said the fries were great!

The bar was full, but we were able to get seated at a table in front of the live band. There is live music on Fridays and Saturdays from 7:00PM-10:00PM. On Friday, February 20, 2026, a band called The Dudes Acoustic were playing. They sounded great. I had the lavender margarita and it was very yummy. We didn't order any food since we had ate before, but I did glance at the menu and there were plenty of great options. Our server was hospitable and came to check on us throughout the night. Oakdale Brew House is located in Lighthouse Commons, a group of businesses along Montauk Highway, and there are plenty of parking spots.

They're juicy, packed with flavor, and hands-down the best sliders we've ever had. We also tried the Burrata Crostini tonight and--wow--so many delicious layers of flavor. Our ride-or-die dish is the Spicy Rigatoni. It's creamy, a little spicy, and totally comforting with crispy chicken cutlets underneath, plus broccoli rabe, sun-dried tomatoes, and of course, melty burrata on top. Other must-tries? The skirt steak with mashed potatoes and asparagus, and for the kids, penne alla vodka or chicken fingers that always get gobbled up. Oh--and the margherita pizza? Chef's kiss. Don't skip dessert: the Tiramisu and molten chocolate chip cake are next-level. That said, we were greeted by the bartender as soon as we entered, and served promptly. They do give free popcorn too which is a nice touch these days. Prices are average for LI, maybe even slightly lower than average. Narragansett pint and a local citrus hoppy one came to...I think $15-16. It has that classic, dark feel inside. Can only imagine how it was back in the smoking days. Good selection of beer and liquor. As for wine, I saw Corbett Canyon swill being poured. At least it was from a magnum bottle and not a box. Probably the same product. So "avoid wine and you'll do just fine" if you're in the area and want a drink here. Can't comment on the food. It's cool to see how booze can help bring people together (and not just destroy). For example, an older gentleman came in and the bartender (believe his name was Jay) remembered his usual order of Heineken light and a whisky shot and had it ready quick while enjoying a shot with the patron. Perhaps we've found the fountain of youth after all.

Cool spot with a Manhattan vibe "behind" Main Street in Patchogue…read more The reason this is key is because, since they face out to the firehouse and residential areas, parking USUALLY isn't a problem. There's a small lot that's free and you can park on Jennings. (sorry residents). We went on NYE so had to park several blocks away. No biggie. The inside is dark and cool with a city-vibe. Ample bar space and 1-4 tops an some banquet seating that lets you look out over the street. We were greeted right away by what turned out to be our server and seated promptly by the windows (we had a reservation). Also greeted by a gentleman that we think might have been her dad. The young lady hustled all night and managed the crowd well. We never waited too long for her to check in on us and she was very helpful with selecting wine and clarifying menu items. That being said, THIS IS A SMALL PLATES JOINT. People expecting full-sized portions should adjust their expectations accordingly. We did, however, order the Trastavere seafood platter (medium) which came as a tower and seemed impressive. Two types of oysters (large and medium) were presented; briny and fresh and pretty damned tasty. There was also a ceviche and tuna tartare that was, unfortunately, a bit unremarkable, as was the shrimp cocktail (though the shrimps were pretty hefty). The American "black caviar" was a nice way to commemorate the meal. Nutty with a pop of salinity but maybe something you can skip. We meant to order the Carne e Formaggi but got the Gamberetto instead which was fine as it was pretty tasty nonetheless (made with shrimp but it almost tasted like smoked salmon). Virgola Manhattan was good but pretty standard. Follow-up drink of dirty Manhattan was blissfully salty and cold. But back to the menu: we are unsure if they have an actual kitchen back there which would also explain the small plates concept and oyster and chilled fish options. The bruschetta was tasty, as mentioned, but it seems like they cut and toasted the bread and topped it with the crudo. The other bruschetta options featured ingredients from other menu items that could be re-purposed for multiple dishes. Smart but expect this. We plan on returning and trying the charcuterie board (mix and match cheeses and meats) and some cocktails. Overall, a nice night out and a nice option for dining and drinking around Patchogue. Cheers!
