Second time staying here for a work trip and it's now gonna be my default stay for when I need to be near the office and the airport. I stayed for three nights this time. Staff's very friendly and gives out water bottles upon request. Check-in and checkout is fast. Room was housekept each day and I didn't even ask for it. Love coming back to fresh sheets and towels. First time using Hilton Honors and it's cool how I got to pick my room -- highest floors and away from elevators is the move for sound sleep. Wish there was a visual floor plan render on the app though or even some more filters. Lobby is beautiful with plenty of the seating. Rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable with basic amenities. For the price, it meets expectations. I'd choose it over an Airbnb, I'd choose it over the nearby Courtyard by Marriott. Valet here like a lot of hotels I've been at recently have been nonchalant. Most of the time it's outsourced to a vendor. Not sure if that's the case here but worth noting. Solid 4/5 overall in my book. Would stay here again. Things I'd love to see next time: - Smoother working elevators - A more inviting and affordable bar Things that can be better for new guests: - Clear signage of where the check-in desk is. It's tucked away to the right. Upon entry, the restaurant check-in looks like the front desk. Ironic cuz I've never seen a person eat at the restaurant.

The room and hotel itself are more in 3/ 3.5 star category. When it came to my room, I would have appreciated more light. The combined light of all the lamps in the room wasn't enough to truly make the room bright enough. The fitness room was good. It had had some machines and free weights, but there was only one exercise mat. It could use a little TLC.. But some really big pluses about this hotel is the excellent location- easy access to the highway as well as a shopping center nearby. I also really enjoyed the easy to access parking. It's easy to get in and out and on your way. Overall, Courtyard by Marriott Culver City is a good mid-range hotel, but the efforts of the staff propel it into a better category than the physical building suggests.

I've been here for dinner before and had to wait for tables but lunch time was not crowded which was great because the service was spot on. We started with bread service with a French butter. The wagyu tartare which I don't eat but those at the table raved about it. We also had the shrimp cocktail which had a nice presentation but if I went again I'd pass. It's good but nothing special. We also had the tomato and burrata salad that was excellent. My main dish was a nicely prepared seabass. It wasn't a large piece of fish but it was lunch so the portion was perfect. We finished with the coffee crème brûlée and apple crumble with a side of ice cream. Good desserts and again, for lunch it hit the spot. I had a sangria that was very mid. But then switched to what could be my favorite drink of the summer. ARE YOU A GOOD WITCH OR A BAD WITCH. The answer probably depends on how many of these you put down. Despite the confusion, the hostess Kia, manager Loic, and Chef Ivan were incredibly gracious and took the time to speak with us. They welcomed us in anyway and we could not be more grateful for how kindly they handled the situation. My 10-year-old niece was dressed to the nines for the occasion--fascinator, gloves, parasol, the whole look--and this experience absolutely made her day. Walking into the beautiful space "in character" for tea felt magical and the staff really leaned into the fun with us, which made it even more special. Once we were seated, Melanie took care of us throughout the entire service and she was phenomenal--warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure we had a great time. Loic checked on us multiple times and his hospitality alone would be enough reason for us to come back; we'd honestly return just for him. The food was delicious: the assortment of tea sandwiches and sweets was beautifully presented and everything tasted fresh and well-executed. The drinks were spot on as well, from the tea service to the cocktails, and paired perfectly with the whole high tea experience. What could have been a disappointing mix-up turned into a very memorable tea outing all thanks to Loic, Kia, Chef Ivan and Melanie. We left feeling appreciated and very well taken care of!! Thank you all!!

They also offer bicycles that you can rent for free to enjoy the California scenery. I've stayed here numerous times because of the location, the amazing staff, and the overall vibe.
