    Triple with cheddar

This place is amazing! Stopped here every day for breakfast and it did not disappoint. Get "The Triple" with cheddar!

Decided to stop to get chips and water but when saw the huge selection of fresh sandwiches, wraps, and paninis they have we were sold!!! Very fresh, tasty panini and super friendly staff . Let's not forget their fresh baked goods . Was beyond amazing for a small location. I recommend this place and can't wait to come back

    Baby creemee

Best creemees in Vermont! The density, the flavor, the portions, this little shop serves up the best. I've sampled a fair share of creemees in Vermont and this place gets the blue ribbon. Not to mention, they have an incredibly rich brownie topped with a layer of peanut butter followed by a thick layer of chocolate icing - amazing. Whoopee pie is third on my list. My husband loves their maple donuts, but they always sell out first thing in the morning and we never make it out there in time. Those early birds deserve those donuts for being up and out at that hour. There is also a smorgasbord of snacks, sandwiches and prepared foods that will appeal to those without such a sweet tooth.

Maple Creemee - richest, creamiest Creemee yet. So much real maple syrup.

Run in and pick up place for sandwiches while getting gas. If you're eating on the go, it's a step up from fast food.

This place was on our way to our first destination this morning and we said screw it, let's give a try, Ooof!! we would've have a better tasty breakfast at McDonald's for half the cost. Yep!! This place is actually really pricey for the quality of food you get here. I ordered the egg, cheese sandwich on a biscuit (because we always like to try the local restaraunt's biscuits) and I added their maple sausage. I wanted to get an almond croissant as well until I saw a fly in the pastry cabinet just have his way on all the pastries. NOPE!! This was probably one of the worse breakfast sandwiches I have ever had to date. The biscuit itself was hard as a rock, dry and crumbled upon touch. It was lousy as heck. The maple sausage was a thick patty, but small, almost like a quarter size round compared to the size of the biscuit. So for what sandwich and a cup of coffee was around $23. Heck no! Was that even worth it with how bad inflation is these days Not sure how they have such high ratings, but just be warned. You're welcome!

The chocolate croissants are buttery with crisp flaky exteriors and rich chocolate interiors. We first discovered them at Stowe Farmers Market. Then discovered the loaves stocked daily fresh bread at Stowe Living and at The Commodities Natural Market. More recently we went to Hyde Park location to try their lunch sandwiches. The Turkey Bacon Avocado with cheddar cheese and pickled red onions is fresh, tasty, easy to eat - a favorite. Panuozzo is an interesting creation using sourdough pizza to wrap around fresh burrata, roasted garlic cloves, roasted red peppers and pesto - the burrata is super fresh and rich type of mozzarella but sandwich is very messy (both hands and face) and we reeked of garlic afterwards. Seriously, the garlic taste and odor built up and literally lingered for 24h - so make sure to share this with your loved ones so all of you are in the garlic group. We would order the Panuozzo again but probably leave off the garlic. Bahn Mi is an interpretation of a classic Vietnamese Bahn Mi - it is tasty but contained no cucumbers, less cilantro and pickled carrots/daikon plus the gravy made the bread soggy. It is still good and we would order again but ask for the gravy on the side as a dipping sauce. All 3 sandwiches were winners and we loved our food adventure. We were missing pickles from 2 of our 3 sandwiches but the 1 pickle we had was good. The sandwiches were hearty so we didn't eat the fries. We will be back and can't wait to try Reuben, cheese steak, fried chicken as well as dinner!

By the time I left this place around lunchtime I felt like I was part of the family. My three hour visit included a blueberry corn muffin, red pepper chicken risotto soup served with a fresh croissant, and coffee. All for $9. (note: cash only). The soup and croissant knocked my socks off. I had visions of Oliver Twist slurping up stew and saying, "please sir, I want some more sir." Mmm....just thinking about it now warms my stomach. Note: this place is no frills. Waterbury offers free community wifi but it can be spotty in this location. The charm of this place is definitely the outdoor patio and fact that you have to stroll through an alley to find it. Double note: they sell breads, gingersnap cookies, croissants and a few other baked treats. The owner told me that he has been operating via wholesale for years but just recently opted to open up for a mini café section. Hallelujah.
