I have been wanting to try this spot for awhile and I'm so glad I was finally able to. The girl working was so sweet and helpful. I don't like super sweet drinks so she helped me decide on an iced toffee nut white mocha, and of course I had to get some cakepops for the kids! The coffee was so good! It was just the right amount of sweet. Not too much, so it wasn't overpowering. The flavor was perfect. Sweet, with a hint of nuttiness. There are plentty of milk options, and a whole list of drinks I cant wait to come back and try! The walnut brownies looked absolutely decadent, but I really had to restrain myself considering it's bathing suit season! Hahaha! The guy making the drinks worked quickly and efficiently. He was very friendly when when my drink was ready. I really like the people who work here! The vibe here is pretty mellow. There were a few people waiting for drinks, one guy sipping coffee and working, and another couple having desserts chatting at a table. The noiselevel was low, and the music was good. I started going here probably back in 2021 if I'm correct, was looking for a coffee spot other than Starbucks and found this. OH MY chalkboard menu! I was torn between a seasonal coffee or standard. The struggle is real for us coffee drinkers. Went with a latte, so I could taste the coffee without it being hidden under flavoring. It was smooth and delicious. The pop tarts were calling my name, but I was good and went with a bagel. I ordered the Matcha green tea blended, and the French toast sausage sandwich. There was not enough Matcha in my tea and it tasted more like the milk. My French toast, sausage sandwich was burnt, hard, and dry. There was a lot of options in the store a lot of menus everywhere and they all had something different on them. There's a lot of options and the service was decent. Would I go here again? Maybe to give them another chance, but after receiving the burnt French toast sandwich I probably won't. I love trying coffee shop small businesses because they never disappoint. This one is definitely one of my favorites .This isn't my first time here. I've been coming here for a while now and I sometimes stop by the trautwein location as well. From both locations, especially this one because it's much closer to my house. I have never had a bad experience. Their seasonal drinks are amazing especially these Valentine's Day drinks. I think they're so cute creative and perfect. If you like sweet drinks, I ordered the red velvet cream, cold brew, and it was perfect . My brother ordered the tiramisu cold brew and it looks so delicious and he loved it. Cute shop. I stopped in because I boycott Starbucks.... Sadly though, the Barista needs to learn how to make a latte. I ordered a hot latte with oat milk, no sweetener. What I got was a mocha- so soooo sweet bleh and not a hint of coffee flavor to be found....I would have brought it back, but I was already on the road heading back to the desert. Found this place randomly so I thought I try out some desserts. Maybe this place is known for their drinks more than their pastries because I was not impressed. I purchased a pumpkin loaf, vanilla cupcake, and chocolate croissant. The cupcake was dry and dense. The frosting was dense and just tastes of sugar and butter. The loaf did not have a lot of flavor. The place is called the cupcake and espresso bar, but the brownie really knocks it out of the park. You know like the lava cake with gooey chocolate inside? I've been seeing this spot pop up on my Door Dash app when I visited my in-laws the last few times. I finally decided to give it a try on my last day there and thank God I waited until the end of my 2-week trip to MoVal because had I known about them sooner, I'd be having one of those drinks every day... and I'm not a coffee drinker! It was my first time there and I wasn't familiar with the menu, but the girl behind the register was so friendly and suggested this for me and it's like she knew exactly what I wanted! It's a cute little cafe and they seemed quite busy. I tried the cupcakes because I'm a cupcake junkie... and I'd give them a 3/5. They weren't moist and were actually a bit dry. If their cupcakes were ON, they would have got 5-stars from me! I have been coming here for about 2 years now sense I moved to Moval from LA! I love their pastries so delicious and I'm only giving it five stars because of that because the quality of the coffee has really gone down. I have been ordering this coffee for the past week hoping that it would get better and it always taste like hot water and it doesn't taste anything like coffee I won't put less stars because the quality of the pastries, and I'm hoping I'll give it one last chance today and see how my coffee arrives, but I do have to say every time I get it. It just taste like hot water. I'm not sure if they got rid of the good braces and hired some that have no idea how to work the machine or exactly what's going on but this is my last chance trying them and it's time to find another local coffee shop. This one was hard. Pastries were dry but good, coffee was pretty good. We came in happy and excited for this find. Unfortunately, the young lady with glasses and short hair immediately working the counter was not helpful, which would have been nice since their pastries do not have descriptions (which would be helpful so we wouldn't feel we were a bother), she kept walking away as if she didn't want to help or we were a burden. When we asked about coffees once again not helpful at this point, it was obvious we were on our own. Like i said before, the pastries were good on the dry side but good. It's just so unfortunate she didn't either have customer service skills or felt away about us in general. It's a shame so I guess we will not be coming back. read more

I was visiting family in Moreno valley and stopped here at The Cupcake and Espresso Bar. I noticed it had great reviews and was near our location. The indoor space is clean and inviting. I love how they present their pastries. They have a big selection of coffee and beverages. They also have sandwiches that looked so yummy. I will definitely have to visit for lunch. I had a strawberry scone with their cinnamon honey latte with coconut milk and my oh my. The coffee was great! Not too sweet at all and so creamy. The scone was soft and delicious.
