From classic snack imports, books, football merch, cards, limited editions, this store has an impressive selection and reasonably priced! I've shopped here twice, one online and once in store and both times I have walked out with almost $100 in merchandise because there is so much to choose from! In store, keep yours ears perked up because it sounds like a lot of Brits in the area love frequenting this place, a testament to its authenticity. During the short time that we visited, I saw a walking tour explaining the history of the bookstore/area and a few people discussing the topic of the day. When I stopped by the shop was adorable. I hadn't known they do coffee as well and so had to enjoy a latte while I was there. Example, I paid under $10 for a Promo copy of Elvis Costello Blood and Chocolate in very nice, VG+/E condition. Good Jazz selections as well. They also had a nice selection of bootlegs which you don't see very often. They sell books and clothing which for me usually means it's not a serious store, but Main Steet Beat is the exception. Great staff well laid out and popular, the store has a nice vibe plus Nyack is a fun town to visit with great restaurants and a rich history.
