Interior. Nicely designed and colorful.
Tom B.

Coming here with friends we were ready for a feast and The Curry Leaves delivered it well. As I have stated in past reviews this remains my favorite spot for Indian cuisine. The place is always clean and well maintained with a variety of seating types. We had a nice comfortable corner booth. Service is always wonderful, helpful and friendly. The menu is quite comprehensive and broad. There's always enough choice for everyone. This time we got a variety of dishes to share, starting with the large and very delectable samosas. Adding to that there was Butter Chicken, a Cauliflower platter, Lamb Tiki Masala, Mixed Chicken Tandoori, Mysore Masala Dosa, Rice and two types of Naan. The portions are large and it could easily feed an army, or four hungry people! My goodness, the flavors and taste abound in every dish. Everything across the board of selections was equally excellent. Everyone agreed on that point. The Dosa was enormous and it is best to eat it right away as it can get chewier and more difficult to disect once it fully cools. My one disappointment is that they no longer have the Mixed VEG Tandoori available. It was my absolute favorite dish. There's enough to compensate. I had the large size Taj Mahal beer that was chilled to perfection and a great compliment for the meal. Water in a pitcher was plentifully provided during the meal too. As we had a mix of what each wanted for a level of spiciness we went middle of the road that was satisfactory to everyone. Besides there were a multitude of sauces which included a yogurt to cut the heat if needed. An extra bonus was live music/singer on a Friday night who was quite talented and made for a nice background. I highly recommend this restaurant and I will be back again, and again, and again

2 butter chickens and naan to go (soda to show size reference- not purchased)

The food is good, but I feel like my daughter was taken advantage of. We ordered two butter chicken dishes and two orders of naan. I understand that it no longer comes with rice, which is fine. However, she was charged $60. Online, the total shows $44 (which already seemed high since no rice)-- so how does that become $60 when a young adult goes to pick it up, unknowingly? Very disappointed, and we don't plan on returning. Pictures to show size.

Really great Indian buffet out here in Rocklin! There was so much variety of foods and proteins. Mini veg samosas, aloo, dal, paneer tikka masala, and biryani were all good options for vegetarians. There was also goat curry, fish, and many different chicken dishes. They had chow mein and Manchurian chicken for some Chinese representation. I especially liked the chai that you could pour yourself. The naan was okay, just a vehicle for everything else. I think the fried fish, red in color, and the fried potato were both the best dishes, followed closely by the butter chicken. I would pass on the dal, it was the weakest of the dishes. The staff was attentive and friendly and the decor inside was warm and spacious.

I love Indian cuisine. And my love was further solidified by the tasty meal I enjoyed tonight. My wife says "Don't order too much". Which I smiled and ignored. I ordered 6 items and a dessert. For all the savory dishes I asked for spice level 2. Though just a hint of chili to me, it was at the top of tolerance for my gringo wife. I imagine that spice level 5 would be fire mouth. Our server, Raj, was delightful. Friendly, happy and helpful. The portion sizes are generous. The vegetable biriyani was a giant bowl. I ate like a famished dog. We boxed 50% of everything for tomorrow lunch. The tableful of food with two beers and one dessert cost $132. A bargain. I'm returning soon for the lunch buffet. I'll probably be a regular customer.

The decor to the restaurant is really nice, but the food is tasteless. Definitely won't be coming back, but the service was good.

Hello please look at the picture This is what I got when I order a veg Biryaniz. After removing 2 to 3 tablespoons of colored rice covered on the top . Really ?!! It has only potato and carrots . Did I Order potato and carrots curry? I ordered a veg Biryani. Guys have some kind of basic courtesy towards your customers. I paid almost $20 for this. With that amount of money I can buy 2 foot long sandwiches or 2 Big Mac from McDonald . Why should I buy masala potatoes and carrots for this much money. When you think your customers are fool and you can walk away with what ever you serve for the money they pay I just want to say one thing " karma is boomerang ."

Very pleasant inside and staff was wonderful. greeted with smiles. The inside atmosphere is very nice and comfortable. To go orders are lined up while waiting for it to go order. They have nice comfortable seating area upfront by the entrance. it's very quiet inside and the lighting is very good. I like the music that is playing in the background. It's playing softly so it's not intrusive to any conversations. There is a lunch buffet that is only available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. My face starts at 11:30 AM and is

Delicious food, Top-notch service [Rocklin CA] This was my first time dining here. We used a Groupon deal. Inside is spacious, table and booth seating available. We were led to a booth, the staff is so polite and friendly. I was addressed as 'ma'am' the whole time which was a first for me... anywhere. LoL! We were given complimentary Poppadoms with Indian mint sauce; served as a starter, something to nibble on before the main course. They are a thin, crisp, round-shaped lentil disc made of some type of rice flour. My first time, very nice. Our main dishes were Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala. A creature of habit, these are my favorite Indian food. The dishes were served with rice. We also ordered Butter Naan and Garlic Naan. Everything was delicious! Next time I'll try the Methi Malai Chicken, which was suggested by our server. Daughter also ordered a Mango Lassi. Great first time dining experience. Service was exceptional! Won't be my last time here... Review #3752

I have been here before several times. And this time, I took my wife here evening around 0530 PM so that she can try some really good Indian food. We ordered chicken biryani, dahi pani puri and chicken tandoori. "Paapad" came as a complimentary. Interior of this place was a good setup for the customers to be comfortable. Server was courteous and friendly, checking up every often to make sure everything is going well. Me and my wife enjoyed our lovely dinner evening as all the foods we ordered was delicious. We made sure we ordered "mild" spice level for our foods due to which, it wasn't too spicy.

I say that at somebody who eats Chinese food all the time and whose family has been in the business. The beef chow fun had zero "wok hei". Wok hei is when the noodles are a bit charred and you can taste the heat of the wok. These chow fun noodles had no char at all. In fact the uncooked soy sauce was pooled at the bottom of the serving dish. The beef had zero char either. The chicken with salted fish fried rice was way over-salted. Salted fish by its nature is already salty. You don't need to add a ton of soy sauce and salt. To make matters worse the rice was undercooked and hard. The bok choy with garlic was just awful. You're supposed to use baby bok choy. What they used was chopped up pieces of giant old stalks of bok choy. It was clear that they just boiled the pieces and then barely stir fired them. The result was the bok choy was tough and flavorless. One of our party had chow mein as part of the daily special. The noodles were basically mushy with zero wok hei and no taste. Detective a pattern here? We had a couple of other dishes and they were equally bad. Needless to say, this is one restaurant I'm going to avoid in the future.

Moo Goo Gai Pan is an Americanized version of a Cantonese dish, Chicken with Mushrooms. Chang Bros prepares a stir fry of sliced chicken breast with a bounty of vegetables: mushrooms, broccoli, carrots, zucchini, snow peas, bamboo shoots, and red bell pepper. I enjoyed it. A comfort food. Mild flavor. Good size portion. I was in a food coma shortly thereafter. With the lunch special, you have your choice of Hot and Sour Soup or Egg Drop Soup. Although the Hot and Sour Soup doesn't contain meat in it, it has a meat based broth. The Egg Drop Soup had a few cubes of soft tofu. If you want flavor, go with the Hot and Sour. You also have your choice of Steamed Rice, Fried Rice, or Plain Chow Mein with lunch plates. The fried rice was plain, a soy sauce rice dotted with peas, carrots, and egg. Table includes salt and pepper shakers, and I was given a tray with sweet and sour sauce and hot mustard. I wonder if they offer hot chili sauce. The next day, I decided to order Beef with Broccoli, the Wednesday $10 special, to go. I think it's enough to feed 2 or 3 adults, so it is a good bargain. Broccoli was savory. Beef was tender, but lacked flavor. Just add some soy sauce, and you'll be fine. I was given 2 soy sauce packets with my To Go order. Chang Bros cooks to appeal to the demographic, so the food tends to be conservative in flavor. If you want spicy, try requesting for that. I think seasoning to taste is a great option if you are watching your salt intake or are sensitive to salt. Chang Bros is off Stanford Ranch Rd in the same plaza with Celestino's and Boba Lane.
