The food here is pretty damn tasty. If you are looking for quick this is not your spot. They open at 430. Someone unlocked the door very quietly at 430 but said nothing with 8 people waiting out front. The only waiter at the time took the order of the person that came in after us and the couple before us and they got their food first. It took the restaurant 37 mins to get us an appetizer. The restaurant needs to work on the front of the house. Other than that the food was really good. I will try one more time. read more

The food was exceptional and she was lovely... however... the busboy used the same gloves to clear/clean a table which sat a family that sounded like they were coughing up lungs in unison, then grabbed place settings from another table to replenish without changing the gloves. Next, he proceeded to bring us to-go containers, and... you guess it... without changing the gloves. Don't let the health score fool you. Tl;dr online pickup order was missing an entree; credit card was hacked. I placed an online order directly through their website. $100 worth of food. When I picked it up, they didn't give me one of the entrees. I called them and they told me they couldn't refund anything from an online order, so I had to drive back to pick it up. A couple of days later, a fraud charge appeared on my credit card. Their website was the only place I've used my card's direct number and security code recently, so I have a suspicion that their site is not secure and has been hacked. The food was wonderful, but unfortunately these other negative experiences have me concerned about returning. read more

Great food, terrible service. The biryani and chaat were genuinely good--no complaints at all about taste or quality. Unfortunately, the hospitality was extremely poor and ruined the overall experience. When ordering, we asked for a dosa for a child in our group. The person taking our order said the dosa cook was not available and insisted we order idli instead. After waiting 20-25 minutes for our food, we saw the dosa cook return. When we politely asked to switch to dosa, we were refused and told the idli was already ordered--despite the fact that we only ordered it because we were told dosa wasn't available. To top it off, the restaurant closed at 3:00 PM without anyone checking for last orders. We wanted to order brownies but were bluntly told the restaurant was closed. When we mentioned no last-call was offered, the response was simply that the staff "got busy." Food alone doesn't make a good restaurant--hospitality matters, and this was handled very poorly. While we enjoyed the food, we would not dine in again due to the service. If you plan to eat here, takeout might be your only safe bet. Until customer service improves, we wouldn't recommend dining in. read more

Chipoto is better To the owner if you cannot send the Combo have the courtesy to refund the money. Apollo fish did not cook well, Vijayawada biryani chicken pieces were like stone very hard- Doordash did refund $20 but my order was for $50 - every penny and the time I wasted waiting for the food and then ordered Chipotle 1000 times better food. Worst Indian food I've ever had. I do not know how this place has the reviews it has. The food was absurdly spicy, and I actually like spicy food. It was like they forgot to add anything but ground spices and peppers to the sauce. It wasn't flavorful, it was just overwhelmingly and offensively bitter and intense. The service was also slow, inattentive, and not that friendly, and the restaurant did not seem all that clean. The only reason I'm giving them a 2 instead of a 1 is because they were fairly busy, and it's not a particularly large place. Again, I have no clue what other customers see to make this place as popular as it is. There are quite a few Indian restaurants in Roseville/Rocklin, and this is hands down the worst of the bunch. read more

Stopped here to charge car nearby and saw the big Now Open sign. We are fans of Chaat, and the photos of the offerings looked tasty. We ordered the Dahi Dall Papdhi Chaat, Masala Dosa, Butter Chicken, and Garlic Naan. The dosa was gigantic, light and crispy w/ the sourdough tastiness filled with masala spiced potatoes and all the traditional fixings that come with it. See photo! Being Indian and being able to make delicious food, I often don't find Indian restaurants good. But let me start off by telling you about how amazing biryani and chaat is. It is off the chart good and so fresh! This place is my go to for samosas and biryani. I would recommend trying a variety of different biryanis and some can get really spicy which makes it that much better. It's a simple menu and I was the afraid the food would be Americanized but everything was correct! I would have liked coriander chutney but they got the spice level correct on the lamb dishes. The chicken biryani is full of flavor, layered with texture, and is spicy. We also tried the garlic naan which was light/fluffy and full of flavor.
