Heck, I stopped shampooing it about 5 years ago, my last hair cut was at least 2 years ago and my idea of a treatment is the occasional dollar store box of hair color when I'm feeling a tad "wild." Thankfully, I've been blessed with really happy healthy hair despite all of this but I wanted to try something new and never having "lightened" my hair before I didn't want to do it at home. Enter Majestix Salon and Aeh. When I first told Aeh I wanted to do something with my hair I REALLY REALLY wanted to do a blue ombre (go big or go home right?). Well, my work was less than pleased with this idea and told me absolutely not. So we settled on "lightening" my hair in increments so that by the time I am done with school and ready to switch jobs I can go straight to blue. Holy cow I love the way it turned out. My normally super dark hair now has movement, life, warmth and it just makes me happy. Not to mention Aeh trimmed off all ends without taking much length off my hair at all. Bottom line, my hair looks fantastic and I can't wait to see what she does as we slowly lighten it over the next few months in preparation for my blue 'do! A month ago I walked out of Pro Cuts and went across the street to Sports Clips because the customer support seemed to be lacking. I've always been treated nicely at Pro-Cuts, but that day I waited 20 minutes without being acknowledged, which is unusual for this location. Initially, I thought there were customers ahead of me and another gentleman who was waiting, but when a new employee I didn't recognize walked behind the counter and began doing wherever she was doing without acknowledging either of us, I walked out and went to sports clips across the street. Today I had direct interaction with the same new employee and I didn't make it past checking in before I walked out knowing I won't be coming back to this establishment again...even if I have to pay more at Sports Clips. This employee was beyond rude! She talked to me like I was annoying her and as if I was incapable of signing into their new sign-in system. I refuse to be treated like this especially after being a faithful multi-year customer. I'm the type of person that will pay extra for good and honest service. All it took was one person to destroy my loyalty to Pro-Cuts. If you can be anything, be kind.
