I rarely write reviews, but I definitely had to take the time to write one for this business. First, I like to start off by saying DAVID has the best customer service hands down. I called to inquire about delivery times and what was the process for delivering to a school because they're not open all day. He insisted that they would have it delivered and let me tell you they DID! This was a surprise for my mother for Valentine's Day and she loved it! Everyone in the front office were completely jealous. Then she sent a picture of the arrangement I was floored. It's gorgeous! Definitely my go to spot for arrangements from now on. Great Job! No filler flowers. Lots of unique greenery and berries, and the flowers themselves were in pristine condition. I ordered from The Cutting Garden based on stellar Yelp reviews and I was not disappointed! I was ordering flowers from California but wanted to make sure I could get the flowers I wanted. FTD and Telaflora are always at liberty to replace flowers based on local availability. I decided that if I ordered directly from a shop in Houston, their flower photos would most likely display flowers that are available or native to the area. My cousin received her flowers today and sent me a photo. She loved them and the photo looked just like what I ordered which is exactly what I was hoping for. I searched for a Houston florist by consulting Yelp. I saw the ratings for the Cutting Garden and selected them without calling any others. Being ten minutes after their closing time, I called with the hope that some person might still be around. A gentleman named David picked up and was happy to help me. I asked for plant suggestions and he took the time to text me pictures and tell me about the care of the plants. The bottom line was he gave me great service on a Saturday afternoon when he need not have even picked up his phone as it was after his store's hours. I am located in San Francisco, and was looking for a florist near Spring Branch neighborhood to deliver flowers for my mother's birthday (on the next day- I know, I procrastinated)! I found this place had a very clean and clear website that I could easily order from. It took me less than fifteen minutes from clicking through Yelp! to getting my email confirmation. I got a notice in my email when the flowers were "out for delivery" the next day, and were marked as "delivered" when I checked my account on the website. I did worry about those notorious package thieves, but my sister was home within the hour. She them tucked away on the porch, which is okay by me as the home is on a quiet street, and the flowers were hidden from street view. I had her snap a few pictures of the arrangement to compare them to the online photos. As flowers are natural, they didn't look EXACTLY like the photo, but the flower count and variety of flowers/colors were similar enough. They made my mother smile (as was my aim), we have lost our father recently, and we have all had it rough this year. I'm glad Cutting Garden came to the rescue. Absolutely hands down blown away by the level of care shown by this company. I had a friend going into surgery and I wasn't sure the room number until she was out and I was a bit worried and they took care of everything! The called the hospital occasionally to see when she was out of surgery and was assigned a room number. They even emailed me updates to let me know she was in recovery and the room number. I went to The Cutting Garden for three dining table arrangements for a Christmas Birthday party I was throwing for my husband. I discussed what I wanted and had some specific needs because I was combing birthday with Christmas and the arrangements needed to allow for dinner conversation. They came out fantastic. I had to pick it up as his funeral was in Conroe and they don't deliver that far. As I went to pick up the spray, I didn't even think about the size and not being able to fit in my car.
