Came in Sunday around 11:30 and it was slow . We walked up to the counter and the 3 girls could care less that we walked in . Not one girl said hi to us or acknowledged us . There was a younger girl and a middle aged lady and an older lady and not one of them could say hi . Finally we said hello even louder and the Middle Ages lady looked up at us and then walked away to the back. After standing there for about 8 minutes we just said out loud that we were leaving then and would be leaving a review . We will just go to the rim cup from now on . We rented bikes from here and then stopped by for breakfast after our bike ride. They had a great variety of bikes for a reasonable price. We rented ours for 2 hours and had fun riding it along the trail. The staff is very friendly and does their best to provide all the information you need to have a pleasant experience. We later stopped by the restaurant to grab some coffee and breakfast. We ordered a couple of breakfast burritos and they were kind enough to make one without meat for me. The sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwich is insane! The sausage and the bread are excellent quality. Pro tip: ask for your potatoes to be crispy. I perfected my order towards the end of summer. The peach poppy seed salad is light and refreshing. That became my go to order on really hot days when I couldn't fathom having to make dinner. If they added prosciutto to it this would hit so much harder. It's the best salad on the lake. We went on a Italian soda binge this summer! The blue raspberry was the best. Service still takes awhile so we call it in and then pick it up about 40 minutes later. If you have time to kill it's a great spot but it's usually packed inside and out. Harrison Idaho is a small town ¾ of the way down the eastern side of Lake Coeur d'Alene. It's an old town that was probably a haven for miners or loggers before they had roads running along the lake. There are historic looking buildings in various stages of decay or restoration, each with its own esthetic quality. One of these buildings is across the street from Cycle Haus, a huge metal storage building on the lake, too expensive to refurbish or tear down. Either way, it provides a great backdrop for eating a sandwich on the balcony. My wife and I shared a sandwich at Cycle Haus on our way through town. We were taking a driving tour of the lake on a coolish, rainy day. Harrison was a pleasant surprise. It is a major stopping point for the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes, a large, paved bike route along the lake and through impressive northern Idaho countryside. It is at the top of my list of pave bike trails that I will hopefully return to try out. A prerequisite for great paved bike trails is a sandwich and beer shop catering to bikers. Cycle Haus provides a great spot for bikers with plenty of outdoor seating, places to set your bike, sandwiches, beers, and a relaxing view of the small town. read more

The customer service was awesome. They have a wide variety of bikes to rent. My wife and I rented pedal assist bikes for 2 hours. We are seniors. So that was perfect. $110 for both bikes and the helmet was free. Right next door there is a decent diner with good sandwiches. read more

I was riding the trail with a relative and we managed to stop in for a bite to eat. the food is very worthwhile and the prices might've been slightly high, but not outrageous. this particular day the service was very off balance. staff had to ask every person they walked by, "is this what you ordered?" my guess is they were training a new employee. with that said, I would go back. beautiful area, inside and outside seating. they also have bike rentals. read more

I've stopped there twice - both times we had trouble even getting our food. The first time we went they gave half our food to another table (I'm not sure how they managed that, since both tables had our order numbers prominently displayed). We went for lunch today and they just simply didn't make our food this time. After seeing two tables who came in after us get served, we went to check the status of our order. They could find our order in the computer, but couldn't figure out what they did with the ticket. We finally got our food, delivered five minutes apart. Loved this place for renting bikes, they seemed a bit understaffed during peak hours (lunch) so after our ride we only ordered beers instead of food items. The wonderful woman manning the store solo today deserves a raise! Cute little coffee shop in Harrison! Our lattes were amazing and the breakfast sandwich was good. The beer menu looked pretty good too so we're already planning a trip back to have some afternoon beers and a pretzel! The employees were nice and friendly. Rented a few bikes and had a great time. The bike path is close to the shop so it makes for an easy start and finish point. The views along the lake are breathtaking and the bridge was a great spot for photos. Make sure to rent the electric bike cruiser if you don't want to do much work. We rented two of those which made for a relaxing trip down the path and two that required some work to pedal. We were not expecting to have to put that much work in but we still enjoyed our ride. My wife and I rented two electric recumbent bicycles here. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We received instructions in how to use these vehicles, which were new to us. We managed to ride north to the Springston Trailhead then south to the 14 mile marker on the Trail of the Coeur d'Alene's and then back to Harrison. The Cycle Haus Bikes and Brews is a great place to go to discover this trail. They even offer transportation of you and your bike to the Trailheads north of Harrison to allow you to make a one way ride back. read more

We arrived here after cycling from Plummer to Harrison, and it was pretty dang cool! Although it's small and can get busy, it just has the right environment you want to show up at after a good sweat and ride. The food was good, the pretzel was slightly too dry and chewy, but the charcuterie with it more than made up for this. My only real complaint is that they need to be more liberal with their mustard, you can't be stingy on the mustard when you're serving bangers and pretzel! Great tap selection, super friendly staff, and such an enjoyable mid ride break! This was so nice in fact that it became an instant tradition, I can't wait to try more taps and snacks. read more

Highly recommend renting long range electric bike. Super fun! Rode 2 hours north through the Wetlands and saw all sorts of wildlife including Moose, mamma and twins plus a young male hanging out in the water. This was around 10/11am. Lots of deer, storks?, deer, ducks and I am sure lots more. Great if you like birds. The only thing was bikes need to have back up batteries if taking for 24hrs. So you could do more time. read more

This places service was not very good. The people were not very kind and not very helpful. The food was good, but it wasn't good enough to make up for the hour wait. People who ordered after us got food before us, and people took my drink and they wouldn't remake it to catch up. I ended up getting the wrong drink but i didn't want to say anything because i just wanted my drink. Service could have been better and more inviting for the wait. Our food also didn't come out at the same time, some went out before and then 20 minutes later another came out and 20 minutes later another sandwich came out. Can't speak for the food or bikes but their coffee is the worst you will find anywhere. Rode our bikes over from Plummer and stopped here for coffee and a pastry. Only a couple of old pastries to chose from and the drip coffe pot was almost empty and obviously had been sitting there for some time. Ordered 3 double shot cappuccinos on the dry side and received instead 3 lattes that tasted like sour milk. Unable to even taste the coffee. We used to ride to Harrison every week but now with the Tim Cup, and the Country Store out of business and our experience at this place we may need to look for a different place to ride with our friends. read more

We stopped in here to wait for our shuttle after a challenging bicycle tour on the Bitterroot Loop. Great space remodeled with care and with a small but tasty menu. Beer Bangers FTW. Good coffee. The pastry selection could use improvement, but you can't have everything. Friendly service from people who know the area well and are interested in building their entire community, not just their own business: they have a small lawn outside where you can play lawn games and they welcome you to bring food from other establishments to relax out there. We did not use the bike services but if they put the care and thought into that part of the business as they do on the coffee and food side, you will likely be in good hands. I wish I'd noticed they offer wines earlier in our stay in town. Like most everything in Harrison, conveniently located near the marina, trailhead, city park, lodging, grocery, and larger restaurants. read more
