What a delightful place. An ordinary coffee shop, but with way more selections of any place I have been. Today I had a chocolate mint frappe. Hubs had regular coffee, both very good and served quickly. We sat in the shop to talk. There are several tables, comfy chairs and some game boards to use if you so wish. Located on the corner of Eldridge and Cypress N. Houston, next to the Subway. Nice place to go alone or with a small group. They have bubble teas and some pastries, one pound bags of coffee to purchase, and some bottled drinks too. I will gladly support this locally run family owned establishment. A must for coffee in cypress. It's a quaint, family owned coffee shop that serves up good coffee in a quiet environment with just a touch of character. The drink selection was mostly your typical coffee variety but I like the seasonal drinks that they offered. Coffee beans are imported from New Orleans and the baristas seem to know their way around an espresso machine. I've been coming here for a while now and continue to be impressed with the consistency. Nothing notable about the pastries, although I've noticed that they make some fresh cupcakes/breads every now and then. I enjoy the ambiance as much as the coffee so yes, I will be returning. read more

Great little coffee shop run by the sweetest lady and wonderful customer service. Their options range from coffees to smoothies and even boba tea, as well as pastries and small snacks to purchase. The atmosphere is wonderful and is a great place to work; I regularly see students hanging out here either doing school work or playing the available boardgames. The coffee (I've had an Americano and their flavored lattes) is great, and their low-fat (skinny) lattes actually have a great taste. Daily Brew offers sugar-free options and advertises what flavors are available. They also make a green tea latte that tastes better than the $tarbucks version. Definitely one of the three best shops in this side of Houston and completely worth supporting! read more

This place has great coffee and the price is really good. You can be super creative with your choices, and still come in way cheaper than Starbucks. I am not a fan of the drive through only part, but that's what they're there for! At least it means that the service is also pretty quick, and though it's small they have two drive through windows you can use. I would definitely recommend them, and I'll probably be back in a couple hours once my little one gets on the bus. (Now that they're back in school I should really invest in a coffee maker lol!) read more

The drinks are okay, maybe it's because I ordered a mango iced tea (it's tazo, I believe, which I do not like at all), the second time I ordered a chocolate mint frappe without whip--the girl put whip on it so had to remake it. Love this coffee shop! Ive ordered various drinks here and have never been disappointed (Vanilla Caramel Latte is my go-to). They have board games so it's the perfect place to have some fun with loved ones while enjoying the atmosphere. Tried their blueberry muffin for the first time today, yum! I was smitten by this place from my first experience! This is located near my parents house, as I live in uptown area now, but I have found myself making the trip here even when I am not just going to hang with the folks! There are plenty of great coffee shops all over houston, but I am so glad this area is finally starting to get some great places, like the daily brew! If you have dined at Agora in montrose, Catalina off of Washington Ave, or the hipster Blackhole-- daily brew is for you! Also, maybe not the most original name, but not a terrible one. I love meeting my clients here. I do small informal Homebuyers and Homesellers here every two weeks advertised in Houston Sunday Chronicle. My meetings are informal in a relax atmosphere. Way overly priced for crappy bubble tea. The boba was hard, and my frozen coffee wasn't that good, it had a tons of ice chunks too. I go next door to get my nails done, I thought hm bubble tea and getting my nails done, how awesome! I bought my sister an I bubble tea for almost 13 dollars for two smalls. Won't go again. For those in Cypress looking for something besides Starbucks, The Daily Brew (there are two locations) are great options. This one is my favorite: it's cozier and in a better location. The atmosphere is nice for chatting or studying (free wifi) and the employees are chill but really nice. But what I reeeeallly come to Daily Brew for is the white mocha. Hot, iced, blended... seriously, the combination of their espresso with the sweetness of white mocha is heaven. Add peppermint for a winter treat! The prices are decent too. The pastry selection is pretty generic, but I'll admit I'm a fan of the sugary Elephant Ear they have sometimes. I always stop by on my way back to Austin. read more

They have the same drinks as Starbucks but cheaper and without all the political garbage in your face. New edit: this store serves Kirkland's finest products, aka Costco products. Nothing wrong with Costco, but people need to know what they're paying high prices for. Kind of pricy for the drinks. I guess it's a good place to go if you're in a hurry and just want a drink. I can't speak to their teas, but I was not impressed with the ice coffee I ordered. It wasn't bad either, but it wasn't awesome. My wide had an iced hazelnut coffee and was also very unimpressed. read more

I meet my friend here every Sunday before church. There is a large variety of coffees, smoothies, and teas as well as a good variety of bagels and pastries. I love the ambiance of the local coffee house vs. the hustle and bustle of a normal Starbucks. It's definitely a place that I look forward to going to every week! read more

Decided to try another local coffee shop. This is a genuine little coffee shop, but it is pretty small. It also seems to only have one brew available for the medium roast, which they call their house blend. The dark roast changes daily. The coffee was good. Breakfast items are limited to some muffins a few bagels and some general sweet rolls. The service was good, and the little Chinese lady was as accommodating as she could be (given the fact that she was by herself waiting on folks). read more

The coffee tasted fantastic. Price was only slightly higher than Starbucks (50 cents) but worth the price because the atmosphere here is original and awesome. It has so much character. I prefer places like this but thought I wouldn't find it in the suburbs. The last privately owned coffee shop I have been to that had character was in Montrose. This place made me feel like I was back in Portland, OR. It even had great music playing. Finally, a coffee house I can frequent! Love, love, love this place.
