Cute little shop we've driven past a thousand times. On the way to disc golf at Zube park and decided to stop in. Ordered the usual: small decaf flat white with heavy cream. There's a bookshelf full of board games, comfy oversized white canvas chairs. And a few signs up asking you not to stay longer than 2 hrs and buy something if you're going to take a seat. (Good thing we're grabbing ours to go, I guess.) First sips: "This is fantastic!" Hubs says. The to-go lids are a little weird, Saturday plastic with a tiny straw like feature against your lips but the little red heart is so cute. We'll be back! I visited this restaurant with my friend following a large meal next door where I enjoyed absolutely delicious birria and tacos. As this was approximately a 45-minute drive from our houses, we wished to relax and cleanse our palates before returning to town. We greeted a lady behind the counter who smiled warmly. We were guided by her when it came to understanding the menu and choosing our beverages. While we waited for our drinks to be made, we sampled some bubbles (boba toppings / jelly). There was one with lychee flavor and one with tapioca. I didn't fancy the lychee, but the tapioca was surprisingly delicious. Admittedly, it was a slow burn for me, but man... I grew to love the taste. Hmm...sooo... although the lady who took our order was sweet, my drink was not. Not just the sugar either... the entire taste of the drink was bland and flavorless. I ordered the Passion Fruit Green Fruit tea with tapioca bubbles, which was the "most ordered" beverage. I thought it might be a matter of me and my taste buds, but my friend got a completely different drink than I did, and it was also a "most ordered" milk tea. She shared my exact sentiments. Our intention was to relax and talk there. However, drinking the tea almost caused us to vomit. Because we did not want to disrespect or offend the lady and manager who were intently watching us, we ultimately decided to leave the restaurant. We even had to throw our drinks away outside, out of sight of the staff. Such a sad waste. As for our brief time there, there were only two elderly women present who left about 15 minutes before we received our orders. According to them, they live very close to the restaurant and visit it every day and stay for hours. During the time we were there, no one else entered. It is not a high traffic spot. I found the place to be very tiny, but it was quaint, cozy, and cute. There is only enough room for four people to sit and actually spend time there. Additionally, it is possible for approximately six people to stand in line comfortably. It appears to be one of those places that is only accessible to those who know about it. So, it makes sense...in my opinion, the drinks were not impressive enough to justify a large crowd demanding service, and, sadly, the atmosphere did not warrant a large crowd demanding service. Enjoyed a visit to this family owned coffee stop this morning. I tried the iced Green Thai Tea - it was light and refreshing. The attendant noticed I was hesitant about the condensed milk typically added to the drink, and offered to substitute coconut milk. I appreciated her suggestion and attentiveness. The powdered sugar danish was warmed, no request needed, and quite yummy. Probably the most surprising and helpful was their table side delivery service after my order was ready. My baby and I had the best time catching up with a dear friend in this comfortable, friendly space. Looking forward to our next visit! read more

I was in the area and had some time to kill so I stopped in. It was a neat little shop. They had games and books available for use while dining in. There are signs that say 2 hour limit for guests. Probably because the limited space. My daughter got the Thai tea with crystal boba and a butter croissant. I didn't try them, but she was happy with them. I got the Vietnamese iced coffee with coffee jelly and an everything bagel with cream cheese. The cream cheese was an extra 75 cents, and I thought it wasn't much at first, but it was definitely plenty for one bagel. I liked the coffee. It wasn't too sweet, wasn't bitter either. The jelly was chewy and had a good flavor. The drinks we picked up at the counter when they were ready, but the food they brought to us and picked up the plates when we were done. Cute little place right on the corner of Eldridge and Cypress N Houston. The owner was really nice and our drinks were made pretty quickly. It was just her working and she still managed to help 3-4 customers within 10 minutes. We sat inside and enjoyed our coffee while visiting with friends. It's a small space and they ask that you don't stay more than two hours. I had a caramel frappe and it was delicious. They had many baked goods as well. read more

I love The Daily Brew. This cute little coffee shop brings all of the quaint, quiet vibes I love to the Cypress area. The owner is a sweet little woman who takes much care in preparing the best coffee and always welcoming you with a warm and inviting spirit. I have come here on many occasion when I happen to be in the area, and it is by far one of the better options. They have pastries and all of your typical coffee shop offerings. If you have work to do you may find yourself in the seating area with your laptop or curled up in one of the oversized chairs with a good book. They keep board games and puzzles handy if you just want a family night out. The prices age comparable to Starbucks or any major coffee dealer. This is my newest find! I was desperate for an Eggnog Latte and I'd been passing this little place every time I went to visit my BFF. At last, on a lark, I decided to stop and see what they had. Sure enough, they had my Eggnog Latte! Not only that but it's a family owned and run business! The atmosphere is quiet, not harried, and they have comfortable seating. The staff couldn't be more friendly or helpful! Now that my BFF has moved, however, I have to make more intentional stops at The Daily Brew. When I do, it's well worth the effort and time. After waiting 30 minutes I ordered a green bubble tea. The green tea wasn't brewed, it was a powder. The drink was green, so you know it was pretty artificial, haha. Every time I pass this place I stop in! The owners are so nice and the coffee is outstanding. The options are never ending! They even have Vietnamese coffee that is wonderful! Their coffee has a bold flavor without being too bitter. They have non dairy milk, and sugar free flavors for those who can't have dairy or sugar (for sure they have soy and almond). (Coffees, teas, pastries)$6.00 for my large latte. They have bubble tea which I am not familiar with. I accidentally found this place while I was house hunting And in desperate need of coffee. This coffee shop is family owned and has the BEST coffee I've ever had. I used to go to Dunkin donuts every morning but low and behold I ended up buying a house down the street and I am at Daily Brew each morning with my husband and whatever friend I can drag with me. The shop is family owned and they really get to know you and is a very pleasant experience. The boboa tea is also absolutely great too! Since going to daily brew I haven't returned to a Starbucks or a Dunkin Donuts and I get very upset when I'm out of town and don't have the accessibility of their coffee! If I could rate them 10 stars I would in a heartbeat! My husbands favorite is the Oreo Frappe, my favorite is a Mocha Coconut Frappe which is something that isn't on the menu but that they crafted just for me! read more

This was a lovely little coffee shop with some great tasting coffee. I only had the coffee of the day two different days, but man was it good. The owner is very kind and personally makes the coffee. I like businesses like that. Seems like a great place to hang out. They have board games if you are interested. I could tell the owner was a Christian so I was not surprised when the shop was not open Sunday morning. I don't know if she opens later in the day Sunday's or not, but I respect her taking the day off like that. Well, the drinks tasted pretty good but we got ripped off on the size and price of one of our orders. We specifically paid for a tapioca tea that was supposed to be 20oz and only got 16oz. I'm always on the lookout for coffee shops that aren't Starbucks. There's nothing wrong with Starbucks and I'm not saying that I don't ever go to Starbucks, but I usually try to go to smaller coffee shops when I can. One day the boyfriend and I decided to go for a drive around the neighborhood...we were on a search for this one pizza place, but didn't find it. Instead we found The Daily Brew. I would say the location threw me off, just cause it's on the corner of a small shopping center that has a liquor store and I forget what else next to it, but it just seemed out of place. We walked in and the person at the counter greeted us immediately and was very friendly..great on the customer service. The ambience was comforting. The lights weren't too bright that they would blind you nor were they too dim that you felt like you were in some mystery movie. The menu has a lot of variety to it and they even have some sandwiches to crave the hunger as well as pastries. I ordered a vanilla soy latte and was very happy when I received my drink. It was a good temperature and the amount of vanilla syrup was just enough that it didn't make it too sweet. I was craving for some bubble tea and thought of this place since i live near by. I was upset on how it turned out. I ordered a large mocha smoothie and iced thai tea. Both of them are watered down and the bubble pearls are hard and definitely not chewy. I think it's overpriced for what it is. $5 for the regular size and $5.50 for the large plus tax. Overall, i was unsatisfied! I regret getting my boba here. In the other hand, i do recommend their coffee but definitely not their boba. I think they just need to stick on what they do best and make their prices worth it and realistic. read more

It's really quiet and there's plenty of light coming in despite its frontage to the parking lot and busy street. There are books, magazines and a few games to choose from and relaxing quiet coffee shop music that won't get in the way of conversation or (quiet) phone calls!
