Although this is a small "Time share" Condo, They rent to the public also. AND it's in OBS (Ormond by the Sea) which is much quieter than Ormond or Daytona Beach which are within 2 & 6 miles from each other. They are a small and quaint condo RIGHT ON THE BEACH. The prices for a large or small unit that have kitchens, 1 or 2 bedrooms with bath are not astronomical like other places. Did I mention that there is no driving on this part of the beach so you can sunbathe, relax, have your kids play here without the pressure of someone running you over. Wow, the updates and upgrades are continuing to improve The hurricanes haven't slowed them down The Cam and General Managers are dynamite. They work perfectly with the great staff. This "Timeshare" also continues as a hotel so you can call them for reservations or even better, go on Expedia where you can get excellent deals The staff as I mentioned, are incredible. Most of them have worked together as a well oiled machine for years. (This tells you something when there aren't any turnovers with staff) Owners that come year after year are extremely satisfied with care of their condos and even themselves. Again, they treat you like family. What I love about the newly experienced staff is when/if something isn't right they will IMMEDIATELY fix any problems that happens to occur. They continue to have staff and owners meetings once a week You can come in on Wednesdays, have coffee and donuts and express any problems or just tell them they are doing a great job They will tell you about the makeover and improvements that they are making for your stay to be as memorable They want you to have the best experience you want while enjoying your vacation. The Management, staff AND the maintenance is professional & understand the need to relax, have family parties, reunions & cater to your enjoyment while you are staying there. Did I mention they are RIGHT on the beach? YES, walk outside your door, past their clean well cared for pool, and onto this side of beach which is WITHOUT cars driving NOW, I didn't know I had to explain this but just like ANY condo, hotel, motel and resort Ocean FRONT and Ocean VIEW are NOT the same Ocean FRONT means walk out the door or balcony and you see the ocean Ocean VIEW means you will be able to have a view of the ocean . Sooo, Be aware of this when you book ANY resort that there is a clear understanding of what you are booking Trader's Inn also accommodates Bike week, Spring breakers Car shows, special events and more They do book quickly for these events even into the next year so get you booking in early so as not to miss out Let's talk to you SNOWBIRDS There are new deals for you if you are planning to spend some time here. Most uncomfortable beds in the world. Opened after a hurricane hit for bike week when in fact there was very dangerous damage done and then they shut again shortly there after promising the owners it would open for months and months and it didn't even though they said it was going to and kept pushing back the date. This is not a luxurious timeshare. Adequate...No Bells And Whistles! They probably have not updated the rooms since the 80's /90's. We stayed in a one bedroom with an adequately comfortable full bed. They make you do a walk through and inventory all of the household supplies and threaten to charge you for any items that turn up missing...Yet they do a linen exchange where they are supposed to return the same linen items ...cleaned... that you place in your laundry bag outside your door. Once, they left out items I had provided to them in my dirty laundry bag. Another time they failed to leave any clean items after one of my laundry drops. The front office staff are horrible. I had to go get the replacements from the front desk even though it was their facilty that made the mistake. Technically they could charge you for those items that they fail to return to you...so you need to monitor what comes and goes like a hawk. Even so...the housekeeping staff are very nice and work very hard. We tipped or maid quite generously. They claim to have a laundry facility on site... yet they do not have any change, and... the machines require $2 worth of quarters. They claimed that due to covid the banks are "reluctant" to give them any change. I think that the resort staff are the ones who are reluctant to go to the bank. I actually believe they could care less about providing you with change. ...Okay then...either make the machines free ...or upgrade to machines that take credit cards or provide a change machine. The machines are quite antiquated and this is a scam so they can say they have a laundry on site. We went to an outside laundromat to do our laundry. If you don't leave by 10 am on your last day they charge you an additional $25 (if you are out by 11am.) Otherwise... If you stay past 11 am they charge you for a full extra day. When I balked at their 10 am checkout the receptionist began to lecture me with this introductory statement..."We are a timeshare..." I pretty much stay at timeshares exclusively and have found them to be very flexible about checkout times...much more so than hotels for the most part...so her argument is ridiculous. Now...you have to leave a credit card for incidentals ...and that is their ticket to charging you additional fees. If you can put up with the BS... it is a comfortable, clean place. The pool area is very nice. I would stay here again because it was peaceful and not crowded... and off the beaten track. They have a nice deck on the second floor for sunning and lounging. Other then that... you are on your own..and forget about any customer service...that must be a dinosaur ...like the building itself. We accidently took the keys with us but returned them at 1:30 pm that same day. They had already charged our credit card an $80 fee and refused to refund it. If they had key cards this would not be a problem. We tried very hard to follow all the rules and avoid extra charges and fees...but still they managed to scam us! The bottom line is that this place has no penchant of any kind regarding hospitality and it seems that they are out to nickel and dime you. They are very rigid and inflexible. Property is worn, but clean. No frills. However the location is freaking amazing! The no drive beach is steps away and the views from your balcony can't be better. The staff is friendly, but I force the rules a bit too much. I would stay here again. Bring your own beach towels! read more

Love this Inn! The establishment is very accommodating and the rooms are very clean and updated. Pool and beach front made our stay pleasurable and convenient, very relaxing place. The breakfast/lunch donut shop across the street is excellent which also made the stay convenient. Just about everything in walking distance. Very much satisfied! Shall return. read more

For the money, this is the very best place on the ocean in Ormond Beach. Newly remodeled rooms, most all new furnishings, new pool, new barbeque griils. Friendly, courteous staff. Liked it so much we got a timeshare week here, but they usually always have weekly and nightly rentals. Book very early for Daytona Bike Week or Biketoberfest week. Publix plaza 1/4 mile south. This is a gem on the beach. Clean rooms, friendly staff and the location provide a quiet, restful vacation from the hustle bustle of the tourist area of Daytona Beach. It's not 5 star resort quality but I love this place. Our week is quiet & in the off season, so we enjoy coming here to relax every year.
