Once we arrived, the hostess could not have been more sweet. She was all smiles and was very welcoming. Our server was just as pleasant. She remembered my friend from previous visits. The room is very comfortable. Dark with a lot of natural tones that create the perfect backdrop for a lovely meal. A couple requests were missed by the bar and kitchen, however our cocktails and meals were still delicious. We loved everything. Overall, we had a very nice dinner and I look forward to my next visit.

I had their cabernet sauvignon and it was delicious. The bread was excellent. The crust almost reminded me of a salted pretzel. The chicken meatballs were flavorful. Calamari was ok. For the 2 pastas that I got to try, the spicy rigatoni was good. Chicken vesuvio was tasty and moist. For the grand finale we had cheesecake and tiramisu. Service was excellent. Park in the orange garage as that is the closest to the restaurant. I left around 8 pm and the restaurant was busy. I definitely recommend reservations.

When we arrived for lunch, it didn't seem too busy but it's better safe than sorry. It's been years since I last went to Wildfire. We were seated right away and our server, Anthony, did a great job explaining the menu and monthly specials. Our meal started with the bread basket which is always a plus. I ordered the chilled lump crap and shrimp salad off the specials. It tasted super fresh and came with a reasonable portion of protein. The overall presentation was a bit sad but I guess there is only so much you can do with a salad. It tasted good and that's what really matters. Service did seem to slow down by the end of our meal though. It took a while to get the check and an even longer while for someone to collect the check. Overall, though, a solid dining spot to celebrate something special or even just a casual shopping day.

She also didn't introduce herself when she approached the table. She stopped at the table next to us which had already been served and they were done eating twice before she approached our table. We waited almost 10 minutes just for water which to me is unacceptable because they were not that busy or crowded The ambiance was okay, average steakhouse vibes nothing impressive in my opinionI Now for the food...which honestly was mediocre. And before you say, I could've gotten something else because this is a steakhouse. I did not want a steak and I came here on the recommendation of my family. Bison meatballs 5/10: the best part of this dish was the tomato sauce but I will say you get a decent portion. The meatballs lacked flavor but the tomato sauce helped Mediterranean chicken skewers 8/10: the chicken wasn't dry, but it lack flavor. The sauce was really good, but portion size is minimal. Angus burger 7/10: burger was cooked as requested and had decent flavor. The fries were also good. Chicken club 5/10: changed the cheese to Gouda and added red onions to the burger. The chicken was flavorless and a little dry the mayo mustard sauce really helps. The fries are really good and they have a nice barbecue sauce if you like fries with barbecue sauce. Pineapple margarita 7.5/10: didn't care for the salt on the rim but this didn't lack flavor and had decent amount of liquor. Martini flight 10/10: mango and apple are the best flavors but they're all pretty good. Nice to get if you want different martini flavors. Overall, I don't think I'd come back to this establishment. The service was very lackluster. The food was also not that great in my opinion.

We started with some lobster bisque and a lump crab cake appetizer. The bisque was sublime. The crab cake was mostly crab and paired with a delicious mustard sauce. My only complaint was that I wanted more. Having recently experienced a subpar upscale chain restaurant steak dinner at another restaurant, I was gun shy to order a steak, but was rewarded with one of the most tender and tasty cuts of beef in the Chicago suburbs. The literal topper was the red wine reduction...so good! My companion ordered (and shared!) the grilled scallops. A generous serving of tender, succulent scallops on a bed of delicious risotto. The combo made a great surf and turf experience. Desserts at these types of restaurants can be so overwhelming that even the thought of sharing seems like too much. But here, we had perfectly sized portions and a wonderful selection of treats to cap a great meal. We each ordered a different treat and it was the perfect amount. We are looking forward to bringing friends and family to return visits. Soon.

We sat in the bar and had a great server named Shawn. Shawn was engaging and provided great service. I'll definitely request him next time I visit. I wasn't drinking that night, but hubby solo'd it with a bourbon cocktail called a Paper Plane. He said it was very tasty, especially on the hot day. We shared the ahi tuna tartare to start. The tartare was a stack of tuna with tropical salsa and avocado. So fresh. It came with a basket of crispy lavish bread, I hope when the restaurant switches their recipe that they will continue making a seedless lavish for those who can't do nuts or seeds. Hubby had the wood grilled tenderloin salad for dinner. I had to get a taste of that tenderloin because it was cooked perfectly. It was so tasty and seasoned well. I had the wood grilled Idaho rainbow trout, swapping out the asparagus for carrots. The trout came with a dill mustard sauce which I nixed and just squeezed fresh lemon on the fish. The fish was moist and smoky. Of course, we had to get the little dessert shooters to end the meal. Hubby had the Belgian chocolate s'mores, which was ridiculously decadent. I had the more conservative raspberry cannoli dessert. These tiny sweet treats are delicious mini indulgences. I love them because you want something a little sweet at the end of a meal but don't want a huge dessert. I think they're perfect. I like Seasons 52 because every item on the menu has the calories listed. Their food is always very good and the service is top-notch. When I ordered the tuna appetizer, a manager came over right away and asked me about a seed allergy because they noticed I said no nuts and seeds on my reservation. They really pay attention to their customers needs. I highly recommend Seasons 52. Ask for Shawn!

Great bar and table area. Drinks: Italian wine Luigi Righetti Valpolicella Ripasso and bread while I waited on my appetizer. Standard Peroni Italian beer. Dessert: apple crostata with vanilla gelato and drizzled caramel. This was good, fresh, and hot. Need a little more apples but delicious. Appetizer: I had Fritto Misto lightly breaded calamari, octopus, and shrimp in garlic. I liked this dish and substituted the cocktail sauce for marinara. I'm not into sweet dips. Entree: Bucatini Del lazio a pasta with lobster meat and jumbo shrimp in a brandy cream sauce. This was delicious and light. I can tell that the pasta was homemade. Very filling but I would have wanted more garlic in it.

The tomato sauce was flavorful, and the shaved Parmesan and arugula complemented the dish beautifully. Unfortunately, the arancini themselves were disappointing, as the coating was much too thick compared to the small amount of rice filling inside. For our entrées, my husband ordered the Chicken Parmigiana. The chicken was unfortunately very dry and overly salted. I chose the pappardelle with short rib ragù. The fresh pasta was excellent--perfectly made with a wonderful texture--but the ragù was also overly salted, which overshadowed what could have been a great dish. One of the highlights of our evening was the service. Our waiter was attentive, friendly, and provided excellent service throughout our meal. The hostess, who may have been the owner, also stopped by our table to check on us, which we appreciated. Overall, this certainly wasn't the worst Italian restaurant we've visited, and there were several things we enjoyed. However, the entrées ultimately fell short of our expectations, especially for a special dinner.

No complaints about parking or the walk. Boom, we were there. Now, where it gets interesting. You walk in the building's front door, and it opens up to a room where you can access several businesses. Josephine's is straight to the back. It's very dark, smelly, and loud. This totally reminded me of a dive bar on a college campus (maybe worse?). There's not much seating, especially when it gets crowded. The bar has limited seating, and the seating on the floor is even more limited. The chairs and couch are stained with who knows what. The song books for karaoke are sticky and nasty. From a great perspective, I was sitting in a chair and went to move and felt something poke me. It was a pair of random scissors! The drinks are 2/5 and prices are extremely expensive. I had a root beer float martini, and it was "meh". From a karaoke standpoint, it was decent. Lots of different people singing. Some good, some bad. It was entertaining, and some people were pretty brave, haha. Try this place if you dare. Get here early to get a seat. I don't think I'd come back. Once is enough.
