First impressions matter, and Linda makes this place look awful. To make matters worse, trying to reach them by phone was just as frustrating.. being placed on hold for over 30 minutes, only to be transferred straight to a voicemail box. Love the doctor but the women in the front should work on being more helpful. Something else that is very irritating, in order to confirm your appointment you need to download an app. Please make it easier to confirm appointments such as a simple text confirmation. I wasn't able to call the location to confirm because I work long hours and by the time I get off the office is closed. I expressed that to them and they did not care at all.

Extremely disappointing experience…read more I really don't like leaving bad reviews, especially for a medical office, but after today's experience I feel other patients deserve to know what happened. I have been going to their Chino location for keloid injections and was referred to the Upland location for V-Beam laser treatment to improve the remaining redness. I had my consultation with PA Kristin Mickelson on August 10. During that consultation, Kristin did not clearly tell me that my 4-year-old daughter was absolutely prohibited from accompanying me. I was told that if my daughter stayed in the treatment room, she would need to wear protective glasses. Based on that information, I understood that bringing my daughter was allowed under those conditions. When I scheduled my treatment afterward, a front desk employee also told me that the treatment would only take about 15 minutes and that they could keep an eye on my daughter while I received my treatment. I relied on what their own staff told me. I took a day off work and drove approximately 1.5 hours each way to the Upland office. When I arrived, I received yet another set of instructions about where my daughter could stay. At one point, staff even brought me to a separate waiting room and told me my daughter could wait there while I received my treatment. Then, only a few minutes later, the office manager came in and told me they could not treat me because they could not supervise my child and that I would have to reschedule without bringing her. I was shocked and extremely disappointed. I completely understand that a medical office may have safety policies regarding children. What I do not understand is why those policies were not clearly communicated to me, why I received conflicting information from the PA and front desk staff, and why I was allowed to travel all the way there only to be turned away. I even returned to the office after initially leaving because I had already taken the day off and driven three hours round trip. I was willing to have my daughter wear protective glasses and remain with me, but the office manager still refused to provide my treatment. I also asked about the consultation fee/deposit because the treatment I had scheduled was not performed. Instead of acknowledging the communication failure, I was told I should listen to the physician rather than the front desk staff. But I was following the information provided by their own employees. What made this experience even worse was the complete lack of empathy or apology for the inconvenience. I did not feel that anyone took responsibility for the conflicting information I had been given. The interaction with the office manager also ended very unprofessionally, with the office door being slammed. After this experience, I have completely lost confidence in this office and will not be returning to the Upland location. This review is not about expecting special treatment because I have a child. It is about clear communication, proper staff training, accountability, and basic respect for patients' time. If a policy is strict, tell patients clearly before they take time off work and drive hours for an appointment. I hope management takes this seriously and reviews how this situation was handled. Patients should not have to pay the price for inconsistent communication between their own staff members.

As a result, I now have to reschedule and essentially start the entire process over again. I find it very unprofessional that my information was apparently not reviewed until the last minute, despite having over a month to do so. This feels like a clear administrative failure and showed very little respect for my time, effort, or the cost of traveling to the appointment. With today's gas prices and busy schedules, this was a complete waste of my day. I expected much better communication and organization from a medical office.

The web forms aren't the most simple to navigate but it works pretty well. Dr. Lyndsey has been great. I'm transgender and never had an issue here. The doctor has been understanding and helpful. I've been by there a couple of times for different issues and it's always been quick and easy. I've consulted about hair loss, had some skin tags removed, and asked about some skin blemishes.
