Later in the day a 2 other stores submitted quotes as well. The following day I received a follow up message from Technics offering no charge for removal and no tax on installation, I couldn't refuse such an offer. I drove over once the roads cleared and had the tint removed and new tint applied. They charged what they quoted, no haggling, nothing but great customer service at a great cost. His response was "I don't know" & he went back playing a game on his phone. I walked out & called the boss back then the little rude guy came out. Took him a good 45 mins to even start on my car. Another car came after me and left way before I did. He talked on the phone and interrupted the other guys that were working. He finished and I told him that I still saw bubbles. He smoothed them out, so I thought. Well I leave and as I'm driving I noticed the tint was darker than what I had and they gave me Saturday. I can't see in nor out my windows, especially the back window. I am mad, I'm mad at myself for going here. I don't have money to waste! I tried reaching back out to the boss but had no luck. Blue star called me and gave me a quote for $360, he explained that most businesses use the camera recalibration as an excuse to up charge and that he wouldn't be disconnecting any wires when replacing my windshield. I was a bit skeptical at first, I was worried I would have to go get my camera recalibrated. (I have a 2022 Honda Accord). It's been 2 and a half weeks since I had it replaced and I've had no issues, camera still works just as good! I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a cheaper alternative than giving your money to the dealerships.
