Oren and another staff member (I'm so sorry I didn't get her name - she was wonderful!) helped me design a custom pendant setting for my Diamond and replaced a stone in the ring. The necklace came out beautiful, far better than I could have dreamed up on my own, and the stone replaced in the ring is a perfect match. My fiance and I decided to get my ring designed when we were shopping, we went to a place where the reviews were good and for a month unfortunately no progress was made and communication was scarce so we came to Oren. He was given quite the task and a very short time frame, he had the drawing back to us within days, the 3D print the next week and the ring back to my fiancé the day before our vacation (not ideal) but be made it work. I got it custom made here at the Diamond Vault, and paid significantly LESS than I would've paid if I had bought another I had wanted, already premade from a well known jeweler. Furthermore, I got the custom design I wanted so it's one of a kind; I got a higher quality center stone; I got a safer head (platinum, with six prongs instead of four); and I got it made to fit my finger so the ring is a perfect circle. I checked out several places to buy a new diamond ring for my wife and the diamond vault by far with the best. The store is not the biggest but Owen was the most knowledgeable of all the people I came across. He did not have exactly what I was looking for but had four diamonds flown in from New York within 2 days. The diamonds he showed me we're at a much higher quality with lower price (staying within my budget) than any place else in the valley I had checked. The ring didn't fit my wife exactly so she needed to take it in for re-sizing (it was a surprise, I had to guess at the size). She went in early afternoon on a Friday just before a three day holiday weekend. They were able to get it resize that afternoon. What great customer service! Oren and his team are amazing! I have gone to the Diamond Vault for appraisals, jewelry repair and to have a custom wedding band made. - I brought in my Grandmother's wedding band from the 1930's. I asked Oren to make me a new band using the diamonds and asked that the new band be in the shape of a "V" in the back. My engagement ring is a crossover ring, so has an "X" shape in the back. I wanted the bands to fit together if I wore the "V" upside down. - Oren created it and even sent a video on Vimeo so I could preview my new ring. It was exactly what I wanted! -When I went to pick it up, I was so impressed and the workmanship is impeccable. - Also, they were very careful to preserve my Grandmother's original band which I really appreciated. I wouldn't call my style "non-traditional" by any stretch, but the inventory at big box jewelry stores is 90% round or oval diamonds on solitaire or pave bands. I didn't think what I was envisioning would require a custom design, but turns out it did and I had an amazing experience with Oren. I brought in an emerald cut diamond I had purchased elsewhere and Oren spent 45 mins talking over every aspect of the design, explaining pros and cons and teaching me a lot about jewelry in the process! My ring has baguettes and the price for those was going to be about $800 each, but he made a call to another supplier and found them for about $500 each in 30 seconds. Made me a loyal customer right then!! His design work (3D rendering and then a printed mold) was super quick and exactly what I had in mind. I am SO in love with the final product! Oren was the most professional person, by far, that I had spoken with. There are so many very pushy sales people out there who don't take the time to educate people and guide them within their budget. If you want to buy a diamond ring, earrings, bracelet, or just unset diamonds, this is pretty much the only place in town at which to do it. The owner is directly involved in the international diamond trade and he knows his stuff. But what is most important -- he is scrupulously honest. You will get a good value, as the Diamond Vault's markups are quite reasonable. The stones will be properly graded and expertly set. Promises will be kept. The only downside is that it truly looks like a vault -- a small vault at that. This is not a place to browse through aisle after aisle of glittering creations -- it is a place to buy diamond jewelry. Note: They do custom creations on site as well. I had a necklace made to my design. It came out exactly as I specified, but when my wife put it on, we had an issue with the way it hung. I took it back to be altered, and they again did what I said. No charge. It still wasn't perfect. I took it back again and once more they did just what I asked. It still wasn't perfect. I took it back a third time and they gently told me to just let them take care of it -- they knew what to do. They were right. There goes my career as a jewelry designer. read more
