Recently she went from fine to down hill. She stopped eating, she was always wanting to sleep, and she started getting weak. We tried changing food and it worked for a bit but not for more than a week. It was like she enjoyed something new and more enticing but she couldn't really stomach it anymore. It then got to the point where she struggled to breathe. That by far was the worst thing watching her suffer like that. It happened slowly within a few days and I hadn't even noticed at first. But the last night I felt like something was wrong. I figured schedule a vet appointment in the morning and see what's going on but when she woke me up at 3 in the morning scratching at my bed I knew that was her last night. She was having a hard time sleeping that night because the ability to breathe was becoming harder, through the night I sat there and comforted her with every gasp she made and every time she would try to close her eyes to sleep she would panic when she couldn't breathe again. By morning she was exhausted, I held her to stretch her diaphragm as much as I could and it helped. We loved on her and said our goodbyes, got her some last minute McDonald's and whip cream, and headed to the vet. I was devastated when we got there and my sister had to do all the paperwork. They got us back relatively quickly and my poor dog was so tired she didn't even bark at new people like she would usually do. That cemented in my head that this was the right thing to do when I had to euthanize her and it was the hardest decision I've ever had to make. The vet and her assistant were extremely kind and considerate to Alma and I. They didn't rush anything and they made the process as calm as possible given the circumstances. They told me what would happen in advance and even let me hold my baby in my lap while the procedure was taking place so she wouldn't be afraid. I think it was the best possible scenario I could have when it comes to letting my best friend go. So thank you so much, Miss Raschke. And to the young woman that helped you that day. You both helped me that day more than you know and I'm so glad we got put into your care

Wagbnb booked her into a spacious suite at a moment's notice, sent lots of photos and videos of my puppy's stay, and made sure she was comfortable and safe. When my puppy was a bit too nervous for playgroup, staff immediately contacted me and arranged to do individual play with my puppy instead. Staff puts dogs' safety first. Puppy came home without being overtired, hungry, or thirsty. I rarely board my pets. When I do, Wag is the only place in town that I trust.

There is no evidence of recent accidents It's just in the air. It is very chaotic in the morning There is no counter area counter separating the metal tables with computer wires and the metal chairs. The sound level is jarring with no sound barriers. More than once I have picked my dog up dog and he has been soaked in urine like he had been laying in it. I asked about it and I was told it must be water. More than once I have had to take my dog to a dog wash and shampoo him before I could take him home.. Incidents such as these along with the uncaring attitude, the front staff has shown has sent me over the edge. I am not taking my pet back and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

I am a loyal customer in bringing my husky to the West Lubbock location 1 to 2 times each month for furminator, bath, brushing, teeth cleaning and nail grinding. We always over tip for the services and we buy all our pet supplies and food from this location. We also donate to the various charities supported by PetSmart. I'm in the mindset that loyalty goes both ways! We made an appointment over two weeks ago on June 15th with Dakota - we are always punctual - except for today, which proved to be very unfortunate. We couldn't find the leash and our dog decided he needed to go to the bathroom which put us a few minutes behind schedule. My wife called at 12:38 pm which was 8 minutes past our appointment time to let the groomers know that we were near the parking lot. I was incredibly surprised when she denied service and she stated that the appointment had already been canceled since we were 10 minutes late, so I went in with my dog to talk to them. I have to say that we were not privy to the 10-minute rule. I apologized to the young lady for being late - and again she denied me service. She curtly called a manager who called his manager, and we all had a long discussion over the philosophy of time. At one point the young lady stated that my tardiness will put them 45 minutes behind schedule. I have a degree in math, and I know that starting 15 minutes late does not calculate in finishing 45 minutes behind schedule. The manager told the young lady to work us in and he allowed her to simply say no. By this point it was 12:50 and the young lady got what she wanted - it was obvious that she simply did not want to groom my dog today. Also, the management lacks the authority to guarantee the same loyalty from its employees that I have given this store for the last 10 years. We were offered a slot the next morning at 9:30 am with a discount - which is a small consolation since we had to take the dog back home and missed our lunch reservations with family. All said and done - I am disappointed with PetSmart customer service today!
