If you just finished up 18 and are looking for a refresher, or are just in off the street and want a drink with a classy view, The Dock Bar & Grill is for you! A friend and I popped-in for a beverage on a Monday evening and while I'm still not sure if this place is private or public they greeted us warmly. We sat at the outside bar and overlooked the beautiful golf course. With the sun setting it was wonderfully picturesque. The place was very quiet, a factor of the time/day we were there, but our waitress was attentive and friendly and the drink menu had a little bit of everything. After a few beers we headed out but I've added this place to my list of spots to which I shall return someday. read more

It's an "outside" establishment, and the view is remarkable. Perhaps the onliest reason to visit this place unless you're doing 18 holes at the adjacent course. On my visit it was 92°, despite the breeze, it was uncomfortable. If you don't mind uninvited drinks/dinner guests in the form of yellow-jacketed flying denizens, it's ok. I ordered the house rosé, which came in a meager pour, and was meagerly-flavored. The "Filet Sliders" were recommended to me by my dining pal. The menu claimed pretzel rolls, "Cajun" fried onions, and Garlic Aioli. Well. The Pretzel roll tasted stale, the "Cajun" onions tasted straight out of the can, and there wasn't enough Garlic Aioli on the sliders for me to have an opinion. The Protein was unseasoned, albeit tender. After salting, the beef was ok, but that wasn't the object. It was supposed to come with "house-made" chips, but didn't. After alerting the waitron, they arrived. What I think, is someone had to run to the 7-11 and buy a few bags of chips, 'cos these did NOT taste like "house-made". I guess if you're in the mood for a "Jack straight" and a place to sit and relax with a great view, this joint is cool. But eat somewhere else... Throwing 2 for the view... read more

We were really looking forward to visiting and experiencing what others shared in their reviews.. unfortunately our Fathers Day visit was very disappointing. We ordered from the simple Fathers day menu and it took over an hour to receive our meals. When the food arrived we had undercooked hashbrowns that were cold and omlets that were overcooked. We noticed the servers tried their best to serve a private event, golfers coming in frm the rain and running through the rain to deliver food inside and outside. Not sure what happened today... The menu does not match the pricing or table set up. It was 100 dollars to get a kids grilled cheese, and two burgers and all the food was sub par. It's a great location and view, but the food is not memorable. We asked for the kids meal prior, which did not happen and our server didn't clear 1 plate during our meal, so we were crowded with kids. read more

Friday Fish Fry. All you can eat beer battered cod as well as all you can eat soup and salad. Plethora of options for the salad. Clam chowder needed salt and pepper and was a little watered down, was decent though. Cod was just good. Get fries not chip. Chips were very inconsistent some chips were very chewy. Stick with beer or wine. My old fashion was awful. Should have just got bourbon on the rocks. Server not so good, maybe new or just nervous but did not do a really good job. We had a nice time at the Dock the few times we have been there. Food is good and the view is gorgeous! However we were there last evening with another couple and the service was just okay. When it came to the bill, we weren't charged for the correct stuff at first. Well she got the items right eventually but then we noticed our friends got charged for a refill of iced tea!! Who does that?!? Every place gives free refills!! And my husband had a glass of the house Pinot Noir, 9 oz size, and we were charged $14! I knew this was wrong but the server insisted it was right. I checked the online menu and sure enough, price should've been $10.50, but we'd already left the place. I am so disappointed! read more

This is the room that was open for the last Friday of their fish fry. It is a lovely room and it has a bar. That is part of the reason I deducted a star. The noise of the golfers after a day of golf, quenching their thirst, made it next to impossible to hear the person seated across the table from you. The fish was once again served hot and just the right crispness. The other reason for the one star deduction, I had gone in, in person, to make this reservation and requested a "nice" table. You ALL know what I mean. I even gave my credit card info, which was NOT required when I had made my reservation over the phone. Can you guess how disappointed I was to be seated at the table next to the kitchen entrance? There was another table available just after I walked up to the hostess stand, but it was given to a party of 3, one of those an extremely young child. I sincerely doubt they had a reservation, with specific requests, but it was still EXTREMELY disappointing. However, service and food still earn those 4 stars. read more

::update:: I would love to give the Dock a five star review but things seem to be changing. I enjoy going to the Dock on a sunny summer day. There are great views of the golf course from restaurant. They offer a few drink and food specials during the week. I had a chance to stop in for the $4 tacos last night. The tacos were only ok. I would not rush back to get them again. The steak was pretty dry but the avocado and onion helped the flavor. My ahi tuna taco seemed over cooked and the coleslaw was dry. I've heard great reviews about their $10 fajitas on Wednesdays. Thursday night is "cookout night" and they offer burgers for $5. I might have to try those specials later this summer. I usually love going to the Dock for a drink and crab cakes. The last time I was there the crab cakes were much different than previous visits. I haven't ordered them in awhile so I'm not sure if they've changed the recipe. This restaurant/bar can become very busy and the service suffers as a result. I've noticed that if you sit at the bar you can not order a drink from all employees. You must wait for a specific bartender...not sure why. Overall--I give two stars for views and weekday specials. This is a great place for a drink or dinner on a beautiful afternoon but would not recommend this place if you're in a hurry. read more

We went out to eat at the outdoor seating portion of the Dock for the first time in months. Hearing of all the cleaning public facilities are doing we expected a clean eating environment. Not so at the Dock at the 7 Bridges. The floor was splattered with food, the serving baskets were not clean and lined with a very thin piece of paper which our food was served on. I really expected more cleanliness but not so here! We won't be back! read more

Nice area to sit, beautiful view. Food is sub par. Ordered six different dishes, 4 of them were Luke warm, and with minimal flavor. We let the server know that two were cold and didn't taste good, the calamari was cold and tasted like it was rubber, the oysters were bad, and had no taste, almost a strange smell . Salmon tacos were just a little better than par. Salad was just okay, boneless wings were edible. We didn't eat any of two dishes. We didn't expect a refund, but the server behaved like, not liking the dishes were no big deal. If you want a nice outdoor place to sit, this is a pleasant place. But do not go there for the food. The service is fair but not prompt. If you want sit outside, I think that would be the only reason to go there, or sit there after a round of golf . read more

Based on a combination of previous and the most recent experience gives this place 4 stars. The scenery and atmosphere adds to the experience. I come here from time to time to have a few drinks, apps, or dinner. My favorite appetizer here is the crab cakes. I will say that the crab cakes from this most recent visit were not on par (pun intended) with those from previous visits, there just seemed to be too much mayo or something in the mixture. I anticipate this to be a fluke since the dock just opened for the season and some kinks need to be worked out. I tried to order another drink from someone behind the bar and they informed me I had to wait for the other bartender to return. This confused me since they were working behind the bar. I am hopeful that this is just a few season opener bumps that will be worked out quickly. read more

Although the view is beautiful and our waitress was friendly and attentive, the food was not good! I got the coconut shrimp, no sauce or white jasmine rice as the menu stated. My husband's cream of chicken rice soup was thick, crusted and warm at best. His steak was flavorless and mashed potatoes cold. Will only be back for a drink and view at best. read more

We attended the fish fry Friday tonite during the lent season this year. I had the blackened salmon with rice pilaf and my husband had the all you can eat cod fish fry with fries. Of course the all you can eat salad bar accompanied the dishes. Everything was fresh and crisp where it needed to be and hot and tangy where it needed to be. The salmon was tender and spicy, delicious, and the rice pilaf flavorful with a huge portion. It was the star meal of the two. The fish fry cod was fine and the fries tasty, but I prefer mine just a tad more crispy. The slaw was very creamy. The salad bar was extremely fresh with lots to choose from. The service was respectful and timely. It is a pricey nite out for us, but we are used to less fancy accommodations. A good time was had by all. Thank you. read more
