Bussers were great at clearing the table, and brought boxes since we hadn't seen the server. When check came, we decided to pay with cash to avoid the 3% fee. When reviewing it, we found we had been charged for 2 beers that had not been ordered (which we may not have noticed if we had paid by card). The manager was responsive after we were able to get her attention and quickly corrected the check and took the payment because our server did not return. When we arrived, and explained to the server that we always request separate checks (people tend to come and go at different times), he had to go call the manager. The manager absolutely refused to try to work something out. For context, the place was nearly empty. Many of us had driven down from Annapolis. We do these gatherings several times a month and places are always fine with the arrangement as long as they know before the order is taken. I told her we are used to other places that charge an automatic 22% gratuity to cover any hassle factor. Servers give us each a number or keep track of the seat that gave a certain order. But the manager would not budge. So I had one woman who left without ordering anything and another who only ordered a beverage. The views are lovely. Our server was a nice young man. The food is so-so. I would not order the chicken popper egg rolls again. They were like frozen tostitos. So we will not return. There are plenty of nice places around the Beaches, including Ketch 22, where they want our business.

Our host had recommended this spot and it did not disappoint. We got a couple dozen crabs and some shrimp and we were stuffed. The crabs were fresh, as I was literally waiting for them to come in from the fisherman in the morning., and waited outside for them to be cooked. The crabs were sweet and stuffed. We loved them! This is a pick up spot, they do not have dine in. I would call in the order as early as you can when they open. I'm sure they run out at some point.
