The atmosphere was nice, the customer service was amazing and the food was delicious. The only thing I can say is that the broccoli and mac n' cheese didn't really have any seasoning, but other than that the blackened salmon with lump of cream man and imperial sauce was chef's kiss. Even the crab dip was amazing. When I have time, I'll definitely come back!

Was at Rod n reel for the day and ran into someone I knew who recommended this spot. I had 2 orange crushes and didn't even feel a thing. Don't think I'd do that again. The bartender was pretty nice, attentive and professional. The food was okay, nothing to rave about in my opinion. My friend's steak looked like a steak from a Vegas buffet. I wasn't really impressed to be honest.

Came here with friends so ten of us and could not sit together, kinda stinks but it's whatever. Wife's hit turkey special came out way before the other meals and got cold because no silverware left at the table. My Chesapeake chicken was pretty awesome tho and the kids steaks were great. Waitress was on getting us extra refills and to go drinks. We will try it again next trip down.

Well, I made a trip from the Gulf Coast to the Maryland shore, wondering what to do for dinner, I thought, "What is Maryland known for?" Crab cakes! So, I found a quaint and quiet restaurant that a descent amount of reviews. I figured I would try it out. The crab cakes didn't disappoint. I ordered them fried and they were lightly fried, very moist, and very good. Not soggy. Large portions. The service was great! We had pleasant conversations. Family feel to the establishment. It was fun! When in Chesapeake Beach, I recommend Traders, ask for Britney. She won't steer you wrong!

I came here for brunch before hitting the road with my boyfriend, and there was no wait at the bar and high top tables so we did that. The bar is a bit too dark for having a meal, but not complaining since we choose to not wait for a table. The bartender gave me the southern grandma vibe, she knows couple customer's "the usual" orders and she knows her way around the bar. I ordered the Chesapeake benedict (2 benedicts with crab meat on each) with fries (more like sliced potato crisp), and it was pretty good. The ingredients werr fresh, the crab meat on top of the benedicts were VERY fresh and generous portioned. The potatoes were lack of a bit salt, but you can add that by yourself. We also ordered a cup of the creamy crab soup, and ong that was the best crab soup I've had. I live in Virginia Beach and there's nowhere that can top this. Crazy amount of super fresh crab meat, the soup itself was smooth and full of crab flavor, and unlike the old bay soup in VB, this ome didn't need much old bay and yet flavorful enough to make me regret not getting the bowl or even a pot if they offer that option.

    Sisters out on a Saturday!

7 of us went in on a Saturday morning and had a great time. It was the first time in a few years that all 7 sisters were together so it really meant a lot to us to sit together and be able to relax. The food was great and Serenity was a wonderful server. There was one hiccup with the food but the manager showed up right away to fix it and make it right. I definitely recommend going there.

Nice place. The Crab Soup was plain but everything else was very good. Nice servers. We'll go back when we're in the area.

I enjoyed my first experience at Traders. The dishes are plentiful & can be shared if needed. Their outside seating was cool too.

The ambiance is nice and comfortable, 3 floors of historic memorabilia, my favorite pieces were the cool antique cash registers. The service was beyond exceptional! Our waitress Erin was very attentive and knowledgeable! She recommended the green fried tomatoes I was considering and boy they were nothing like I've ever had! So delicious! Packed with flavor! For dessert I had the seasonal peach cobbler made with fresh locally grown peaches! A-mazing!

We were seated immediately. For starters we ordered 2 crab dips, 2 orders of fried green tomatoes, & 2 orders of crispy wings (Old Bay). Our non-alcoholic beverages included Pepsi products (no Coca-Cola ), ginger ale but no ginger beer. All of the appetizers were on point with flavor & texture. Also the Old Bay chicken wings were not as salty as other places serve them. I ordered the crab cake sandwich & onion rings. I had to box my crab cake because the small plates filled me up. I heated it in a pan later with a little olive oil spray and it was good. Our generous shipmate took care of thei bill so I'm not sure if splitting was an option. This was my first visit but definitely not my last. I enjoyed the relaxed vibes and proximity to the resort & dock.

"Why did it have to snow tonight?! We're stuck in this hospital...when we should be following that…read moremonster's trail," Roberto DaCosta (Sunspot) shook with anger as he expressed a desire to seek revenge against who or what attacked their teammate, Danielle Moonstar, leaving her on an operating table on the brink of death. "Waste o' time, Bobby, you won't find the critter there," Sam Guthrie (Cannonball), the oldest of the teenagers that make up the New Mutants, responded, "It'll be here." "What are you talking about, Sam? Explain yourself!" "Stands t' reason, ever since we've known her, Dani's had a special fear of a spirit bear she said murdered her parents. None of us really really gave the story much credit, after all who believes in magic?" Sam paused oh so slightly before continuing. " 'Cept Illyana's a real witch, an' we fought demons and sorceresses. Maybe Dani wasn't kidding." Sam shifted his tone to reveal his evidence. "Illyana tells me Dani spent the last week or so in the Danger Room fighting bears! T'night, she walked out into a [winter] storm, alone, armed with a bow an' arrows an' wearing war paint! And got mauled. We were wrong t' doubt her. We should'a listened, we should'a seen the signs." Whenever my wife and I visit a restaurant or bar for the first time, whether we are there by ourselves or--in this case--treated to a meal by our favorite neighbors--I can count on her to sort through, heed, and pick up on every nuance in every aspect of culinary service that is there to be sensed. In this case, at the Dockside Restaurant & Sports Bar at 421 Deale Road in Maryland, the food was mostly wonderful, and the prices were more than reasonable for this economy. What prevents Dockside from receiving at least four stars was primarily the service. Two orders of fries, one sweet potato and one regular, weren't hot; and although our waitress reluctantly brought one of the orders back to exchange it for a new batch, the fries didn't taste any warmer. Our other host ordered his crabcake lightly-fried, only for it to be brought out broiled. He still enjoyed it, but it wasn't exactly what he wanted or ordered. By the end of the meal, it became obvious that, if we return, we need to ask for Sarah, who, although she was tending the bar and wasn't even our waitress, still brought one of our neighbors a fresh cup of Pepsi Zero that she could take on our return trip home. Sarah also exhibited a great sense of humor, an attentiveness and an attention to detail, and, most importantly, remembered with pleasure our hosts, who have dined there frequently. Apart from the pumpkin cheesecake, which was so infused with nutmeg and pumpkin spice that even Linus from Peanuts couldn't have tasted the pumpkin, and the lukewarm fries, our meals were terrific. I devoured the perfectly-seasoned shrimp from the fried shrimp platter; everyone loved their onion rings and their cream of crab and Maryland crab soups; and we all agreed that the crabcakes, boiled and fried, were scrumptious.
